I'm using this string right now (16l, 1.25). I have to say she don't mantain the tension very well, actually its scary how much tension she loss even at rest. Measuring with TennisTension Pro the data were: 04/01/2024 (before pratice): 43,4 lbs (i strung with 46 lbs) 05/01/2024 (after pratice): 40,9 lbs 07/01/2024 (today at rest): 40,3 lbs On the other hand the Hyper-G has been 45 lbs for almost 1 month in my other racket.
I’ve been on a racquets and strings journey and it is a very very long one. Revolution is up there with one of the best if not the best itself. My time using it was with the 2018 Extreme MP (16g lead tapes on the handle) and i remember hitting quite a lot of monster spinning forehands with it
I can’t vouch for it tension maintenance though however i still remember it having such great feel even after it had gone stiff and lost much of it’s spinning effect (this attribute might belong to the racquet though)
i been using my solinco revolution now since last summer, my stringer told me to try them i have now my own set up at 18.5kg with the 16g ones , UNDENIABILY THE BEST STRING IN THE WORLD ( For me )
I tried it out about a year ago and did not like the tension maintenance at all. When I first played with it in the first hour it was amazing but after that it seemed to lose a pound of tension every minute
No mention of tension maintenance in comparison to competitors? I know Confidential seems to be the gold standard lately in tension maintenance for polys. Hyper G is a mixed bag of contradicting reviews and experiences. I've heard a lot of good things about Lynx Tour which I'm looking forward to trying. Curious what people's experience has been with Revolution specifically in regards to tension maintenance.
I am just asking myself... If you have a firmer and more durable string, can you just use a thinner gauge and get the same? How would a 17g Revolution compare to a 16g Hyper-G?
Great content! Please tell me a string for my son, he is 14 years old and currently likes Hyper-G but would like something softer but that keep spin effect...
Hello tennis spin , i would like to try the solinco révolution on my speed mp 360+ . How tension and gage 1.20 or 1.25 you recommand me ? Thanks a lot to france.

Today (02/03/2024), after more 6,5 hours of play, the string is at 38,5 lbs. It settled around 39 lbs and has been losing a few pounds since then.

Thanks Harry! I didn’t know about these strings, but I’d like to try them.
Have been using Revolution 17 for some time and quite like it. Actually like it more than Confidential which feels too stiff to me

The color is magical. Better feel than the hyper g soft's (muted) that i have also tried.
Back to blade pro for Gu?

Revolution is a tiny bit less durable but spins more than confidential

My 15yo uses Solinco Hybrid Tour Bite & Vanquish.
Mayami Tour Hex
Ytex QuadroTwist
Rpm blast rough
You can always still use hyper G but drop the tension and/or use a super thin gauge.
You guys should try the Solinco RPNY. There awesome.

Where's Gu's Technifibre?
That’s what I was thinking 🤔, but I think this video was actually made a couple of weeks ago - at least.
I have no clue if they are recommending it or not!
Yes they are, Solinco strings are tennis spins favourite stringing
They said if you if you like hyper g but want a bit firmer than hyper g then you might like this. So it depends.
this string hurts my arm (16g). big time.
And.............it's affordable!
Solinco strings are stiff. Don't waste your money if you have elbow problem. Try instead ( Kirschbaum ) strings specially pro line ll.
