    The General Grabbers definitely earn their name. They grab and toss every bit of gravel they encounter. I bought a 23 Tremor in March but went with the Coyote. I'm very happy with mine as well but getting better mpg. I've had a couple computer glitches but as you said they have fixed themselves. I'm at almost 10K miles right now. I don't tow much so I'll take the mpg and exhaust sound. Peace, Love!!

      @@TheBoostedFam I've washed mine twice. I think it's at about 19.1 mpg over the last 4k miles. It hates the wind, but I guess that is to be expected with any high-profile vehicle. I get better mileage (over 21) around the tri-city area. I haven't done a lot of tough off-roading with it, but it has handled winter driving very well. Peace, Love!!

    Hey, really enjoyed your review of the Tremor, there are so many about the truck on a showroom floor, not enough showing how it really is in the world being used. Thank you for being real, im looking to buy a 24 Tremor. Has a few changes, but nothing major. Thank you for your service as a firefighter. 👨‍🚒

      I have the under-seat storage, but I haven't seen it after-market. It looks like it is collapsible if you want a flatter floor, but mine is filled with off-road goodies and tools, so the dog will have to make do with the front seat or the existing floorboard. I guess you could build one since I thing all the back seats fold up.

    Interesting point about the solid versus electric running board. Good to know. I supposed I could add mud flaps if I got the electric ones. Do you think putting mud flaps on with the fixed running board would help avoid mud and dirt and stuff getting on the sides of the truck even more, or does that fixed running board do so well as to make the mud flaps irrelevant entirely?

    That's a beauty! What kind of mpg do you think you'd get just long distance highway driving, no towing, no especially heavy load in the bed, just classic road trips? Might you get over 20mpg? 22mpg? And how comfortable are those seats on long distance drives? A smooth, quiet long distance highway drive? Thanks. The one thing I would do to your truck, add black wheel well covers in the rear. The front wells look black already.

    I've driven many V8's and I absolutely love the Low-end torque of my 3.5 Tremor. You don't have to rev the crap out of this engine to get the truck moving or towing including when you really put your foot into it. Plus, IMHO a V8 makes way too much noise. I love my truck, my son owns a Shop where he drives many trucks that come in for repair and when he drove my Tremor he was very impressed.

    With f150 5.0 Does 3.31 vs 3.73 fear axle make a difference?

    • @TheBoostedFam
      @TheBoostedFam  4 місяці тому

      Different gears ratios always make a difference no matter what vehicle if they have the same tire/motor specs. 3.31 would be more of a daily with better mpg but the lower (but higher) gears is typically better for towing or bigger tire setups.

    • @Tsl4Lf

      @Ply4L unless you’re trying to drag race it from red light to red light I would personally take the 3.73 just for I’d rather have the lower range gears for if you ever needed them… better to have them and not need them than to need them and not have them…

      @terryreceveur9319 Рік тому

      @@bozartg I’d be happy to be proven wrong, but compare it side by side to a vehicle with known leather seats and the difference is pretty clear. And lift up a rear seat and undo the zipper on the seat cover - look at the salvage edge of the material; that’s not leather. In fact, I don’t even think the quality of the Naugahyde or whatever it is is very good. The upper portion of the covers (where the “Tremor” embroidery is) seems thin, cheap, and it has puckers. And a post on another forum shows the finish lifting on the perforated seats - and this the portion I first thought just might be leather but apparently not.

    Why anyone would buy the 5.0 in a truck is beyond me. The 5.0 sounds better but that’s it. It’s a high revving low torque motor. Perfect for a track car like the mustang. If you tow anything it will scream so loud you can’t have a conversation in the cab. Especially going up hill. The 3.5 is a more superior motor for a truck. More torque in the low end. That’s EXACTLY why Toyota moved to the 3.5 twin turbo, and discarded their v8.
    Absolutely nothing wrong with the 5.0 but this is the wrong application. It’s similar to the 4.0 liter motor in my GT3 500hp 400 ft lbs of torque red line at 9000 rpm.high revving for the track not much torque.
    Who ever buys the 5.0 isn’t buying a truck he/she’s buying a car that looks like a truck
    The 3.5 kept me from buying a diesel. It easily tows my trailer, it’s faster than any truck I’ve ever owned. The Tremor is a fantastic package. I love the blue cruise
