I feel like they messed up from the start of these DLC's. After Origins it would have been better imo to end up either killing or saving Maxis, repeating the cycle all over again or finding a cure or something

@@trainingwheels5008 This is exactly what im talking about, I had to buy an xbox just to play cod with others. After 1 years PC drops to 29 players MAX on any cod's release and they are all on multiplayer only. Console playerbase is huge compared to PC they need to do crossplay.

Treyarch never specified what happened to the mob of the dead characters, the tranzit characters, or the call of the dead characters, either. Man wtf!
Also what I REALLY want to know is what the hell happened to the shadows characters!!!

@@ZeoSleeps Apparantly Nikolai sent everything to the Dark Aether, hopefully they make some sort of randomized zombie mode like a mix of Blackout and Revelations(but this time, almost every map combined). You start out on a random location on the map and every 5 rounds a new enemy type appears(hellhound, meatballs, spiders, Panzers, etc.)
However, I'm not expecting the current gen consoles to handle this, so they would probably wait for the next gen to do something like this

Someone has to complete this without having done all of the easter eggs on the map. If they get the same cutscene, we know it's not the end. The main problem is that people who are shooting to complete this easter egg in the first place already went back and completed the others so it would be hard to find.

The transit crew has never existed because they changed history
uh the blood vials didn't make them immortal, it just kept them from fading away, that's the thing why did it do that? why motd blood specifically and why does that even work like that? makes no sense also the blood was seriously only for that? we had them hyped up for so long...
but they don't keep them from dying normally only from fading away, they don't make them immortal they just create a paradox that keeps them there but that doesn't really explain to me why that had to be motd....I get what your saying but it just doesn't sound right to me why would them being in a loop keep them from fading away?

I think this ending is good. It actually explains a lot if you really think about it. First, we defeated the Shadow Man that's pretty straight forward. Maxis and Sophia sacrifice themselves to rid the universe of the apothicons. That in itself puts the universe back in order. Now Dr. Monty can rebuild his perfect world but the crew still remains because of the blood viles. Yes I wish they could've explained the blood viles but what I got from it was they're probably from other versions of themselves in a different universe that for whatever reason saved them from being erased from existence. Dr Monty was close to erasing them showing that the blood isn't all powerful like Richthofen thought. However, Dr. Monty created a separate universe where he can send the characters and other imperfections into where they're treated like heroes with staves. This is very important to the story. In the cutscene, Dr. Monty says as long as they exist they are a threat to his perfect universe. Since we see that they end up in primis, the Zombies story starts all over again. This roughly shows a link with mob of the dead. It shows a cycle that keeps on happening. Underwhelming? Yes but you can't deny that link. It also explains why we play zombies over and over again. We play zombies because it's fun and unique on every run. No two sessions are the same. When you play zombies again in the future, keep this ending in mind. You're playing in another universe that Monty created with imperfect and free will humans. Meaning that this will go wrong again and it will be up to our crew to fix it all over again. This explains the box and perk machines as they're Montys creation to aid our crew because he knows we'll defeat the apothicons and the shadow man. However, one thing that also should be mentioned is that in mob of the dead we were able to break the cycle. So who's to say that in the grand scheme of the the entire zombies story line from WaW to BO3 we are able to break the cycle. What would happen? Only future will tell. This ending is brilliant if you take a step back and see it from a whole new perspective. I will always appreciate this ending because the story started as just an extra game mode to headlining the final DLC of BO3. We the community and treyarch created this Zombies universe and we'll never have all the answers. This is what keeps us engaged. Coming up with Theories and speculations. We should enjoy what we have now. Because one day the cycle will break and all hell might break loose. Thanks for listening to my long over analysis of this cutscene. That’s actually smart. The idea of everything being a cycle is smart as well but if they went to Dr.Monty’s other universe and they all had staves, how’s it a cycle? At the beginning of origins we see they only have their pistols so maybe they got sent away to maintain Monty’s imperfections.

The thing is, the four original staff creators was the Primis crew. There is a reason that all of the statues in the excavation site is our origins crew. Every time they discover and make copies and go through time collecting things, they are continuing the cycle, and they will end up just going back to the painting holding their elemental staffs.

1) what happened to the old characters on the moon ?
2) what happened to the tranzit crew ?
3) what happened to the mob of the dead crew ?
and if this is the end of zombies then i assume its the end of COD for treyarch

the characters from moon are the kids in the house,the tranzit crew died in buried and the mob of the dead crew died when the cycle broke.
Characters on moon died, tranzit died on Buried, and for motd crew it looks like weazel won the Fight and yeah..
If you are serious about those first 2 questions then you know nothing about the storyline
1) There souls were collected and they were made in to children by Monty to be free from corruption. 2) The tranzit crew died in Buried but when there universe cease to exist they no longer exist. 3) They never escaped, the plane never flew. They were punished in Hell for their sins so the Weasel could get revenge, but Richthofen collected there blood so the universe even though it ceased to exist created a paradox which made it exist. This is not the end the new story is about a movie Director trapping actors with some kind of power.
I doubt this is the absolute end, I'd say it's only a conclusion to the Origins universe. Is someone else with me on this one?

Quick note: this one is the end that I would give it, so remember that this is just an opinion.

In the middle of the battle the giant Apothicon (Shadows of Evil) appears in the sky, Shadowman is thinking about having the insured victory, at this moment Dr. Monty decides to take part of the fight and faces Shadowman, Richtofen without at least thinking uses the Summoning Key and the blood vials to summon the other crews (Mob of the dead and Tranzit), between three groups manage to defeat the Apothicon, meanwhile Shadowman to make Monty doubt and in an instant manages to exile it of the Aether, rapidly it recovers the Summoning Key and imprisons the crews (As Richtofen in Der Eisendrache).
The blades of the Summoning Key open up, they all prepare themselves to fulfill his destination, to start over again the cycle of his souls doomed to fail eternally. But something goes wrong, the Summoning Key does not answer to Shadowman, a great snap of energy is liberated and four ghosts appear, the three crews are liberated while they observe as the ghosts materialize, it is possible that they do not have body but his importance in the other dimensions has given them the enough energy to fight one more battle, the 1.0 appear, between four crews they manage to defeat Shadowman. Maxis and Sophia direct for themselves the enormous star of element 115, but something goes out badly, the power of the Summoning Key is too much and create an explosion that resounds in all the dimensions.
Blackout.
Monty starts narrating since after this second Big Bang the things started improving, the Tranzit crew manage to return to his common lives, thanks to Monty's powers they could forget the horrors of his past lives. In the Golden Gate bridge four Alcatraz prisoners divide to continue with his lives, now conscious that the purgatory exists and is not nice at all. The souls of the 1.0 crew were sent to Agartha, where they could rest in peace after his long voyage. Finally Monty mentions that he does not know of the whereabouts of the 2.0, but he hope that wherever they are, they are fine.
Blackout.
A terrified eyes are prepared for the death by a monster of three heads, suddenly four knights armed with elemental staff appear in the battlefield. The war end rapidly after his appearance and to these four heroes were built a castle and they were remembered as legends.
I'm not sure everyone wants the storyline to end. It feels like it can definitely make it an even more gripping story given a few more years, and that would end the storyline. Also, some of that story seems like the greatest ass-pull ever. Love the creativity though.

With what happened in BOTD was that the Richtofen from the Great War breaks the cycle by killing ZNS/BOTD Richtofen which prevents Gorod Krovi and Revelations from happening. So, it's going to Nikolai's soul in a different way as well as possibly getting all of the Great War crew all together

after watching tag der totens bullshit of an ending, this is now the REAL ending. even though the story went terribly wrong in BO4, let’s just all believe that this is the actual story where nothing went wrong. the end.

i think the peimis characters already defeated the apothicans and thats why the crowd seems to be happy OR they are just going to start to defeat the apothicans so basically its a loop then, but O dont know if they already know that they already defeated the apothicans in the future? if so then its a endless cycle and monty will bring them back again to primis once the apothicans are defeated for the second time....

Which is sad when you realize this was the closest thing to a happy ending that they'd get
Now we’ve seen the Classified ending, what Monty says here makes more sense. He knew the Ultimus crew were stuck in 1960s Groom Lake and that there were 2 great wars to be fought to restart the cycle, one in the original universe and one in dimension 63. When he said it “all works out perfectly”, he had this spare Primis group post Revelations so he used them and the Ultimus crew (who the Primis crew collect in the classified ending) to fight the 2 Great Wars and the cycle begins anew.

Well, this is it, I've been playing Zombies since it first came out back in 2008, thankyou Treyarch for what you have done, Zombies although a game, has impacted my way of life, it's been my favourite game for nearly a decade, and will always be, maybe, as a final bit of fan service, remake EVERY map that has not currently been remade, especially Ascension because it's my favourite map of all time, my school holidays have been occupied with Zombies, and I won't stop playing until I'm as good as TheRelaxingEnd or better, thankyou, for making such a huge impact on my life :)
