VALORANT FIRST IMPRESSIONS - Gameplay Reveal (Project A)

- Today we will be taking a look at Riot Games new 5v5 competitive shooter.
The Game was formerly known as ProjectA, but has been revealed to be called Valorant.
In this Video we we will see 1 round out of a competitive match from Valorant! Keep in mind this game is still in alpha and therefore wont reflect the final product.
The Game seems to be base don CSGO-Gameplay with some changes to evolve the genre - featuring abilities that could be seen as utility as well as an additional bomb site.
The customization of cross-hair also seems to be very closely related to the system we know from CS:GO.
I am looking forward to playing and this game and making more videos about it!

I feel like 3 bombsites is way too much.
Imagine if for example you're alone defending C and 2/2 are defending A and B. Now what would you do if 5 people rushed you at once?
I think that is why there are lots of utilities to stop rushes - I think retaking and making smart decisions of holding or retreating to be more important - I might make a video on that specifically tho!

Also the cross from b-to-a or b-to-c looks relatively easier. Yeah going from a-to-c or vice versa looks like kinda too much but we’ll see

Something new for everyone to get good at, we'll probably see the rise of some new streamers or IGNs. I think it will be fun and I'll try it out

Thay's where special ability comes in, and also rotating from a-b-c, and vice versa should be shorter, so retake would be very important later in the round. I feel like retaking is like 75% gameplay, and 25% from spawns and holding angles/map control.

looking forward to this. i dont mind the 3 bombsites thing, might spice things up. Only issue i could have with this is if abilities end up being press button = win
they all seem to be either skillshots or utility based cahnnels - so I think using them would take almost as long as just setting up a smoke grenade throw?
thats why it seems like - we def need mroe gameplay to properly judge that
