Thank you YT rec for never forgetting how much I like this video popping up. Also, just wanted to point out, the kid ends Sandman so smoothly and flawlessly that he deserves an applause for that.
Side Note.....it doesn't matter if it was Planed or Not!!! They have given this Kid an Awesome memorie. This boy will Always remember this for ever!!And it was so Fuc ing Great that Dave gave his guitar. That was way beyond Awesome. Thanks Dave for that great thing You have done for that great kid..You will be going strait through the Pearly Gates for your kindness for what you have done.It was your Heart that did it!!!...J.W...not D.S...
It wasn't planned David says he saw him holding that sign to his entire time on stage they were like 2 songs away from finishing for the night and he just felt it was the right thing to do
Planned* memory* fucking* straight*
I like your comment but please please learn to spell. You know your bad when I have to correct you.
@@neb3195 I like how you did that, funny as hell!
@@dano8613 you're* welcome.
Most uplifting video I've seen in a year. Awesome.
This is some next level guitar hero
Dirk The Daring lol
This mode unlocks when you beat the game
Watching Nandi play and the joy on her face lifts my spirits. After the song is over and watching her on the edge of the stage with her hands raise, all I can think is "good for you girl, take it in. You deserve it."
I can't imagine the pride in that kid's eyes when he heard he could keep the guitar
And this is why he gets nothing but respect.
It’s insane to see how talented people can be. What a great kid
How cool of you to give that boy the guitar. You just changed his life into a dedication of music that will shape his life. Good job brother.
Love it 👊🏼 fantastic way of starting your morning, watching something which makes you not stop smiling.
Michael Santoro 😂😂😂😂
😋
Michael S 😂😂😂
Man, being an extremely cool rockstar and such a kind person at the same time? Dave grohl is a freaking LEGEND
Enter Sandman sounds so weird with a drummer with natural sense on rhythm.
chelseapensioner lol
Ohhhhhh...that my friend is a shot! And I wholeheartedly agree. I've played drums since I was 9 and my dad introduced me to Buddy Rich playing on The Johnny Carson Show. The old man woke me up at midnight, I was 10... He said, "You want to see a REAL drummer?".
Hahahahaha
😜🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
it would truly be weird to hear all of the Metallica songs with good drumming
This man along with Bruce Springsteen are 2 of my favourite celebs, the joy and time they give their fans is delightful, that kid will remember that day for the rest of his life.
You are a great man Dave, never change!!
That kid has a guitar worth 15+ grand now, if not way more.... along with insane memories. Jesus!
Nice that Dave made sure it was safe to send him off the stage with it first lol
But he can't sell it on Ebay, because Dave gonna find him.
Memories worth way more than guitar, imagine the bragging rights "priceless"
That’s a lifetime keepsake along with the badass story!
Many artists may have taken offence that he didn't know any of THEIR songs. But he handled it gracefully. This made my day. But probably not as much as it made Collin's & his mom's day. What a great moment for this young man.
This may be the coolest thing I have ever seen. Dave was gracious and that boy has a lifetime memory.
Imagine if the kid said he knew lots of Nirvana songs
Underrated comment of the century.
I wish I could like this 1000 times.
Oh my god. That would’ve been amazing. I bet the entire band would’ve loved that.
Probably would have bought Dave to tears.
@@WackyNZ would have brought _me_ to tears
It's official. our daughter is going to spend more than 30 mins a day practicing the guitar from now on. She's gonna wish I'd NEVER seen this kid.
give her 6 hours
That kid hasn't spent more than 30 minutes a day playing guitar.
@@MichaelGrubbEvolvedMinistry ur right. He spent WAY more than that on a guitar...
Most kids dont have time to be practicing anything because they are to busy picking their nose all the time.
Dont live through your daughter let her love music herself. If you force it on her shell never become a true musician.
Why is this just now showing up recommended? This was really cool. A band that doesn’t get enough recognition.
That kid has some great stage work! And he shreds pretty damn well for his age. Dave is awesome for gifting him that guitar! Something the little guy will remember for the rest of his life.
This kid deserves respect, and Dave's a great man
The kid is amazing, and Dave Grohl's voice is perfect for Enter Sandman. 100% should cover it
As long as he learns the lyrics first haha
I really wanted him to hit a YEA-YEAH
His voice was bad
11 years old 🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️
Bruh what have I done with my life 😂😂😂👍🏽🔥
Lol, I’m feeling like the biggest piece of shit right now. WTF!!!
Dave you are an amazing artist and a spectacular human. You've left this boy with a memory of a lifetime and his mother had to be so proud. Bless you for your kindness. And you are one of my favorite musicians of all time. ✨ 🎸🥁
Я в восторге от барабанщика! Чувак за три секунды поймал ритм мальчишки и поддержал своей партией.
Drummer Taylor Hawkins, God rest his soul 💐💐💐💐💐
@@RemoGutierrez1 , Ohh... It' sad, I didn't know it.😔
@@RemoGutierrez1I saw a video of his son playing if Im not badly mistaken
Dave Grohl is an awesome human being
Yeah ...like that wasn't staged.
Of course it was staged. What's your point?
jjfromneedstohaveeeverythingexplainedtohim - If you knew this was staged ...then what's your point? o.O
If I gotta explain it then you'll never understand.
jjfromthebigland - Why do you patronize me? Please explain to me why 20,000 people need to be subjected to some little brat struggling his way through a metallica song when they all paid MONEY to see the FOO FIGHTERS perform. More and more musicians are pulling random people out of the audience to perform when the crowd PAID to see the BAND perform. So please explain how DAVE ripping off his fans makes him a great person??
Who on earth are the 2.3k people that disliked this?! This video is so wholesome I almost choked on my breakfast watching this!
this must have destroyed any doubts about what he wanted to do as a grown up
That’s just way cool! Go Dave brought a tear to this old roadies eyes.
paul cooper Right? These are the gigs we dream about.
Hats off to the Sticks man...he went right into it and was On Point with the Kid. 🥁
Taylor Hawkins is the real deal.
Dave Grohl is one of the most genuine musicians on the planet!! Kudos to him for making an impression!!!
Dave Grohl is the people's Rockstar! What a guy. And that kid had some balls to get up there and do that.
My son who’s 35 has a shipping company near SeaTac airport in Seattle and he’s been shipping Dave’s equipment for years. A couple years ago Dave made all the guys tacos when they delivered his new guitar he had custom made. He’s a great guy! Very humble man.
50 year old: I got a FF guitar pick
Kid: hold my kidibull
I don't particularly like the Foo Fighters music but damn if Dave G isn't one of the nicest guys! He does this stuff more often than people know and I admire him for it. I love to see things like this. Just awesome.
That was truly dope. Not only that he let him do Metallic songs, gave him a chance to play and gave the guitar away. #ClassAct
