Regarding reversing direct deposits - Over 20 years ago, the company I worked for at the time paid us bonuses. The amount was supposed to be a percent of our monthly salaries, but they accidentally computed it in our annual pay. They took back the overpayment but let us know they were doing this.
Yes, the payroll department can reverse any payments made to you if its done within a specified time. However, that usually only applies when there is a payroll error. It shouldn't be done just because you are having cashflow problems.
When you start up with a company or switch from getting a check to Direct Deposit the company will have you sign an agreement stating it has the right to reverse any payments made in error or excess of your salary/wages. Often times it's something we sign at the start of employment so we breeze past it. Also it's hard to get a copy from HR once you've been hired but I would encourage everyone to check, because a stipulation of getting paid via Direct Deposit (a.k.a ACH) is authorizing an agent/company access to your account. If no agreement is in place, then you have grounds to go after them, from your bank, for hardship.
I moved my prescriptions to another pharmacy some years ago, I was not very happy with them after the pharmacist gave me someone else’s medication and I was not aware of it until I got home. That also means that someone got my prescriptions.
@@murphyrod4839 It could of just mean they pull from the same prescription twice as well and gave it to them and also you. Did they not have your prescription on hand?
That should be illegal, they need to pay or face lawsuits...
