I mean, her alpha quirk is her mobility : what she's supposed to be GOOD at. Both Tsuyu and Iida are amazing at it (that and all the other things they're good at) And it doesn't help her case that it is also currently broken, in a bad way. (Hopefully it gets fixed 🙏)
Just some random things Ive found when playing Uraraka: Her Alpha is definately bugged out, especially on big buildings. Its got good range, but it really needs a bug fix. Her beta is her best damage output by far, with its range and aoe and in raw damage with a full swing before an enemy gets knocked back. It can also kinda work when you need to hit someone once they get out of stun, since the lasting hitbox can let you hit them again before they hit you thanks to their brief invincibility. Her Gamma quirk is easily the most awkward, since it has start up and can be awkward to aim (especially from a distance). Ive found it works best setting up a 'trap' (even if mediocore damage wise compared to Dabi's), interfereing in team fights while you aren't actively being targeted and when an enemy is getting up after being knocked down. Particularly the last one, as with the right timing it can catch them like the Beta quirk does. Another thing worth noting is the brief 'float' that happens when you hit someone with the first hit of the quirk. While like this, they are completly vulnerable, so you can hit them with all your Alpha stocks (or if able to jump high enougth your Beta). Your teammate can also do this (so a Bakugo or Todoroki can just melt their health bar like this). Plus even if its not a particularly long stun, it still takes one, or multiple people out of the fight for a short while which is nice. Although if you arent really quick they will be freed from the 'float' and you wont be able to follow up with the debris that gets picked up, so its far from game breaking or even easyto pull off. TLDR; she has good things, but maybe needs her Gamma to come out a bit faster, or at LEAST a bug fix for her Alpha quirk.
Huh I thought I was the only one going on with that problem, it's impact is so annoying I struggle to escape when I'm in a jam or just trying to reach high objects fast (>.

I've actually died to her quite alot especially when she does her Spinning Attack. When she has the car it literally melts away your teamates. Only counter I've found is Todorokis ice slide and Denkis Dash attack. Both stuns her leaving her open for attacks from anyone. Played her today and she amazing. Except that float move. It takes too long to set up and when you get hit while doing it, it lags abit. It needs auto lock on because it seems useless to time it unless someone is standing still.
I haven’t unlocked Tsuyu yet, but love playing uruaka so far. I think she’s my current favorite. Definitely agree the bugged grapple is a huge problem tho. I think it has something with destructible terrain.
@@pauldesert2541 Play a bunch of games. It's under the special license at level 7. It's going to take a while. Or you can use your crystals to buy the exp needed to get to special license level 7
Fun team combo. Use Uraraka's float + Kendou's throw on your third teammate and watch them go half way across the map. It's great for getting people off high ground that love sniping. Personal build is Beta>Gamma>Alpha
Upgrade Uraraka’s Quirks 1st Beta -> 2nd Gamma -> 3rd Alpha As a Uraraka and Tsuyu Main I can tell you for a fact Uraraka can be just as good as Tsu and sometimes better specifically when it comes to combat only problems are low normal jump height and her grappling hook is wildly inconsistent but Globku’s main issue is that he’s trying to play Uraraka like Tsuyu cause they have similar abilities but in reality the characters differences while seeming slight completely change up how how gotta play them I’ve had matches where my teammates died early and left and I solo won the entire thing and was 2 times in a row The key is her Beta Quirk you get that to level 9 as fast as possible it hits the opponent 3 times before launching them but if their downed it just annihilates them it’s also good for mobility you can get distance yourself and keep enemies away simultaneously Always float before grappling and try to grapple the ground that is close to you or the higher and mid parts of buildings and tall structures it can miss a lot if your not familiar with the grappling distance though like Globku did in the video you can also grapple towards someone and attack for extra damage Lastly her Gamma Quirk can be hit or miss it’s a little slow to start but is great for catching enemies off guard or protecting a giant item box after the Beta quirk your gonna wanna upgrade this one cause it’ll expand the effect area range it’s tough to use in close combat but if your ally is In trouble or you can lead the shot it’ll take out foes and their shields quickly and disorient them All around Uraraka is probably an A tier if you know what your doing
Don't be surprised if a Ura makes you float with Aoe and you can't get out while her bakugo or deku shoots you. You literally need team coordination to make this character a monster, or you can just spin and dip.
I think your wrong globku. ura is by far the best rapid, and might be at most top 3 or at least top 5. Her beta can darn near wipe squads, her alpha is an amazing poke, awhile having a gamma that can stop any enemy mid quirk and if you don't drop the float, the enemy does not get Iframe, allowing you to extend combo's. Floating someone into two alpha's and a spin is a death sentence.
He used her pretty wrong, you need to max the spin skill first, the car is soo good but he chooses to max the first skill I say this because the first skill is kinda bugged some times, so its better to have the skill in lvl 4 Then max the second and last skill. With uraraka you hit and run, you dont need to use the gravity on allys, you can cross good part of the map with just the primary fire + gravity
A few tips for those who want to play Urakaka (for some reason:) 1. Please go beta first, getting a slight cooldown buff on alpha is not enough, plus you're gonna want the extra range because you will most likely be engaging with beta constantly. 2. Use beta to slow your momentum or gamma to stop your momentum if you ever grapple over a building you wanted to land on. 3. When your opponent is knocked down after beta, you can either stop spinning, disengage and then possibly reengage after they get up, or keep spinning and knock them down again. just dont let go of it and then use beta again after theyre back up, the initial button press takes so much % out of the move. 4. you can land an alpha as enemies are floating up from your gamma, so dont forget to do that to get the extra damage. 5. Your alpha should never be at 0 unless you've decided to disengage. You need the constant mobility to not take any damage, and going to 0 will make the cooldown much longer in exchange for replenishing all your usages, but IT'S NOT WORTH IT.
They should have made her special when a teammate goes down you float them in the air while their recovering so they don’t get hit by other people of some projectiles will still be able to hit them like bakugo and deku’s compressed air but this is my opinion what do ya’ll think about it? Edit: yes you’d be able to float yourself when your down
Have you not seen Kirishima's damage ? Yes Uraraka isn't terrible, but her alpha quirk needs to be fixed, gamma is meh. She is the weakest of her class (the speedster/high mobility characters)
@@ravionjohnson8852 he did a video on him but if you want my opinion: Kirishima's main issue is he's great .. in close combat, No projectile and no big mobility move, his alpha can a bit janky sometimes but his beta is good, he has 400hp and REALLY GOOD damage (pretty sure his gamma quirk is one of, if not the best, strongest one-hit move) Uraraka trades damage for mobility but because her alpha quirk is kinda broken, and not in a good way, she needs to be fixed and maybe buff but I don't play her enough.
i dont see her as a bad character nor a not fun character, her Special Action with Alpha Quirk is actually kinda cracked and fun, and then the Beta and Gamma quirk have good damage.
Defenitly some skill issue XD ofc its a joke, no hate but a lot of ppl sleep on uraraka. U can go much longer distance in shorter time with uraka then any other character (yes even tsuyu i checked it many times even in games). It doesn't mean her mobilty is better then tsuyu but just diffrent and still amazing if u use it correct. At 2nd man u lose so much by not maxing beta 1st, with her amazing mobiliity u can get into some characters like bakugo, todoroki etc with a second at best thing is, u can do it with 1/2 graplings while leaving 3rd for chase. Exactly chase, bcs UR BETA IS BROKEN. Like there is no character in game taht can stand head to head with that skill xDD no joke. 3rd thing is kinda my preference. Maxing gamma 2nd, yes u lose a bit of mobility but if u use her graplings correctly u almost didn't feel that u lose some of it, but u will defenitly feel when u throw some cars at enemies heads that melts their healths. And ryl if enemies are just running...this skill isnt so hard to land lol, especially on higher levels. With that u can do some nasty combos that i wrote some comments lower (so i will just copy paste that here xD).zero gravity + land E on enemy, insta jump, use E to throw things on enemy and in air start spinning, its such broken combo. In conclustion uraraka gameplay is realy diffrent (like just much mroe diffrent) then other characters but if u get use to it, u can litterly carry ur teams with crazy mobility reviving ur teammates 3 times a match or just get into enemy and 1vs3 spin to win them
I'm so happy you mentioned her grapple being bugged its been such a drag especially with having to use her if we want to complete the 'float 30 enemies' and 'win as her' event challenges
you should make another video with her one shot combo. (Good for ambushes) [E > grapple (while they are mid air) > grapple > Release E > wait > grapple > melee > melee > LVL. 9 B Spin to WIn]
She is very hit or miss. I played an entire day with her and came away with 3 things. Her grapple being bugged is by far the worst aspect of the kit, it regularly nerfs the character in the one aspect that makes her strong being the best mobility in the game. In a prolonged amount of time she is by far the most moble character in this game and her passive makes it not even close when needed. The best level order (personally) is either maxed out alpha first, or split leveling her alpha and gamma to 4, full leveling alpha to 9, then either leveling her beta to 9 for damage or leveling the gamma to 9 for zoning. Her best damage combo is landing gamma, getting a alpha hit while they are floating, then reactivating gamma to get a huge burst of damage. That being said it is unreliable and without level 4 gamma, it is arguably a waste of time. Lastly, her role in a team is three things, stalling a finish on a team mate by hovering above the enemy and landing her gamma on anyone who goes for a finish. Hunting down high value players, like low hp ones trying to heal, or a high damage ranged enemy like bakugo and preventing them from freely shooting by using three hits of you beta to force them to have to roll/guard. And if all else fails you should always be the last one to die, (aside from say a tsu or cementoss who is rotating abilities well.) If your team dies it's your job to get badges and cards due to your map wide mobility. Aside from that she seems to be rough right now, mainly from how slow her alpha projectile speed is in a fight. strafing or running tends to make her abilities disproportionately to land for the damage they do (aside from beta which at that point there are better charcters for close range and mobility the other two rapids being great examples) and even to go with that she has rough bugs in her alpha not working often when it comes to trying to grapple walls as well as sometimes her momentum/angle to a building force her to be perpetually fall while facing toward a wall or building with nothing you can do but wait for control of the charcter again. (you can minimize this issue with using you gamma to reorient your character to said wall to enable you to climb, but it's annoying you can't just do it from the start.) Tl:dr she doesn't really do anything well aside from moving fast, something even then she has competition for and tends to be too hard to learn/use with far too little pay off.
Her Gamma quirk is great for: 1. Punishing people who don’t run after being knocked down, if you time it perfectly it’ll punish a Bakugo that immediately starts spamming after waking up. 2. Getting opponents away from finishing your Allies She’s a stronger Tsuyu but has less movement, it’s really just about what your team needs. I prefer Uraraka on a team with other mobility units like Bakugo and Deku, but on teams with less mobility like Shiggy and Dabi, lll use Tsuyu.
I think float enables bakugo and deku in a comp the best. Float either lets you get crazy far, or lets them go crazy far. This is super good for the 2 characters that snipe the entire game, for off angles. One in the sky! Outside of that, her kit does feel a lil clunky. I think in that comp, she has great tools to chase people down. With float, she shouldn't lose anyone. Similar to giving a bakugo float. Then the gravity well is good to catch people far running, and that and the hammer stuns. Kinda clunky but a good enabler i think
She probably my most played character but I agree she kinda sucks compared to the rest. She’s not that bad though and it’s very satisfying to hit that spin move and to trap people in the zero gravity.
I do think that Uraraka is very complicated to use, but once u play fluently with her, ur constantly getting people pregnant. That 3rd ability that lifts ppl, i use it after knocking someone with the sec ability, then i press the 0 gravity, I jump, and in the air i press it so i can put It better, then while the guy is in the air, u hit him with the grappler and then u press 3rd ability again, and thats a pretty op combo. *I do rlly need the game to solve the 1st ability problem, cuz its all the time bug 💀
I want them to make her other stuff feel better, while toning down the car swing, since it makes the character feel like a walking gimmick that's unfun to play, and unfun to fight.
i personally think the prefferred build is to max the car as soon as possible, as it really can mess up with people, specially if the deathzone is nearby
Uraraka is a living beyblade that once her opponent has been nailed into the ground with a car, they get lifted up with an anti-gravity field only for the combo to start all over again She's cracked!
I just had a kirishima match that made me wanna die. Last ring with a solo asui this asui has been alive all match basically pestering the team. She some killed my teammates I had to finish her with no air hitting moves
Man am I the only one who likes her? She is the character I like the most to play and she is the character I am best at besides bakugou who is just op. I think she is extremly underrated. I will say that the bug definetly makes her a low tier since her entire kit is basicly her insane mobility but it's just a bug so I don't think it's fair to say she is bad due to a bug. But it's kinda ironic how she has voice line saying ''please hit'' on the move that is bugged. You should definetly do a revisit once she is fixed tho.
I mean that’s the problem with this game. And I’m not talking about mechanics, I’m talking about the players. In this game, it’s imperative that you play with comms because playing with randoms makes it harder to win every time.
Usually for Uraraka I prioritize Beta>Alpha>Gamma, I usually don't level up her gamma until the Beta and alpha are around level 4-6. I see in every match you play you only prioritize her alpha and that's why you aren't doing much damage
You have to learn that depending on the character, you need to adapt on what ability to level first. A lot of characters benefit from their Alpha being leveled first so I get it, but for say Uraraka, there’s no point in leveling Alpha first. You’re wasting points. The Alpha being bugged made it worse too, but luckily they tried to fix it today so it should be a bit better now but even still, focus the Beta if you ever play Uraraka. Sincerely, an Uraraka one-trick.
I dont understand how tsuyus grapple funktions perfectly like 98% but uras works like 70% of the time? why dont they use the same code to register grapples?
so I have to be honest I hated this game for the first 2 days, I didn't win a game since I played with mouse and keyboard as soon as I connected the controller the game changed face now I win and above all I have fun
At the start of the release of the game I liked Uraka but ever since I got Tsu I found who was better, now whenever I fight a Uraka the rely entirely on the car swing
i think her special ability should be more floaty so you go higher & be allowed to put on enemies as that could mess up some characters that are more grounded like Iida
I feel like people overestimate her beta skill. It would be good if it didn't knock people down after 3 hits but it does. So the damage is just not worth exposing yourself on a character like her, it's only like 130 for all 3 hits. I wish more of her budget was put into her gamma skill because it's much more unique but you have to choose between utility and damage, plus it's so hard to land.
I was enjoying playing Uraraka but now it’s like… why pick her and not Froppy? Froppy is so much better it’s painful. Especially since her grapple has a priority to nearby enemies meanwhile Uraraka has to actually aim.
Ignoring her grappling bug You're trying to play Uraraka like she's Bakugo and getting bad results. Alpha 4 > Beta 4 > Gamma 4 (Or Alpha 9 if you need the movement), then again up to 9's. Alpha 4 reduces the cooldown on the whip, allowing her more movement more often. Beta 4 gives you the pillar, which is just fine. Gamma 4 increases the radius enough so that you're more likely to get 2 or 3 people. Alpha is less of a weapon and more of a movement option. You jump, grapple hit someone or grapple next to them to dodge an attack while approaching, then use Beta to deal much more damage, stun them for longer (which is good for a team fight), and potentially swing into multiple people. Note that when you get knocked down, you jump back up and flash with i-frames. Because you are airborne during this time, you can use your airborne i-frames to grapple and launch yourself, presumable to safety or back at someone for more fighting. Your beta only hits 3 times. So you can spin hit 3 and then throw it at someone else for cheap damage, or hit twice and then throw at them for more damage. The stun time on it is insane and I've spun after people like the tazmanian devil. Gamma, the gravity lift, is better used to stall then for damage, but the damage on it can be insane! I use it to get enemies off of my teammates, to ambush enemy team fights, and if you can get used to the jank with it, you can even hit through walls, building, or over ledges with it. The lift prevents them from taking actions. Don't use the grav lift in people's faces! They will dodge it, they will punish you because taking damage while casting it cancels the move, they simple roll out of the way. The float is used like Iida's run engines. You activate it when you gotta move! You want to get across the map like spiderman? Use float. This allows you to zip off of buildings and then even have your cooldown on Alpha (this is why you get up to alpha 4 as soon as possible) to for extra grapples. Using float on teammates is also incredible helpful, especially if you play together a lot. I play with a Shiozaki, and she doesn't have movement abilities, so giving her float lets her jump up buildings or jump around to be more mobile than she would normally be, letting her get into weird sniping positions faster than she would normally. If anyone is reading this, turn off aim assist when you're playing Uraraka. You need full control over your camera more than you need accuracy to hit people with her whip. Aim Assist will also mess up your grav lift by trying to center it on people rather then what you want, landing it in the middle on a group or ahead of someone so they run into it. Because Beta is a circle, you can look around to stay aware of your surroundings while pummeling someone. Take your fight with the mount lady around the 5 minute mark. You use all 3 of your grapples on her face and then you couldn't move to safety. Then you come across an Uraraka who spins to win and beat up you and your teamamate. Then, because of that long stun time topped with good damage, a Kirishima has time to run in. It's only after this that you start zipping up the wall or using float on yourself to up your mobility. I would have used float (super fast casting time btw), zipped up to her shoulder and started using Beta on her, and then zipped over to the wall. Tldr: Play Uraraka to her strengths. She can go fast and has a lot of vertical mobility. Her best combat move, the beta spin, is your bread and butter. Use your mobility to set up your spin move. Use your ability to pick your fights, as given by your high speed, to choose good fights to grav lift into or when to jump in and start pummeling before you jump out. And yes, her grapple is bugged. I hope that gets fixed soon. It undercuts her strength by randomly deciding to not work. All of her high mobility can be fine for an entire match, and then fumble right when you need it.
ohh didn't know B caps at 3 hit, i always thought it was due to me knocking back the enemies too much that their I frames kicks in and most people say she mid or bad mostly to how they are playing the game in general, the fact how i play her is something a lot of people doesn't do in this game that is saving civilians i mostly play her as a support and loot as much res cards and team heal/shield as possible or go to the big box if no ones spawn near it
@@GarethXL A lot of people judge the characters off of preconceived notions without realizing what the strengths of the character are. Like Shiggy being a menace in close quaters and his ability to level terrain can force people to face him. That's his strength, but he can't fly around like Uraraka. You can make a ton of statements. And yeah, I also play my Uraraka like a support. Bringin loot to my slower teammates.
After having made it to ace rank exclusively maining ochaco I disagree that she’s a mid tier character. The worst thing about her is her grapple bug, and early game can be wonky when you don’t have her beta maxed and that’s something you should always prioritize. Max your beta and youre set, you benefit from not only solid damage but the radius of the spin is increased due to the car. I can tell you right now, use float skill and jump straight up, lift with gamma then grapple, drop with gamma then grapple again finishing with 1 hit of her spin before they are knocked into immunity and in most cases you can start your spin again before they even touch the ground. Even with her alpha and gamma not being maxed it does insane damage, she’s just not the easiest character to learn how to position with. IMO solid A tier if her grapple gets a fix.
Never used her and probably never will... but her beta quirk NEEDS a nerf... they just sneak up on you mid fight and detory your hp with a single move...
I think the problem ur having is trying to play her like she's a ranged type when she's a melee type, the grapple is practically exclusively for mobility, not combat
her grapple is best utilized with her special action, it will make you float for days as an escape if you aim it slightly up, no need to hold the climb button as her when you lighten for short.
He’s trying to play her like Tsuyu when he needs to be playing her like Uraraka using her Beta Quirk for damage and mobility also using float first is the key to her alpha quirk
@@terrakage4462 I totally get that it’s super annoying to have it miss hopefully they get it fixed but there are ways to mitigate missing for the time being like grappling the ground that is close to you or higher and mid sections of buildings seems to be the most consistent the range isn’t as far as Tsuyu but using float first can get you some good distance
You kept aiming it at the windows of the building. It won't connect to weak surfaces like those. It's still true that it's janky though. I know she's mid, but I only play her to look cute and throw cars
playing uraraka as a DPS while her kit consist of a mobility skill, a close range knock back CC, and an AOE stagger CC ........ 🤨😑 the fact you max out skill A first then going to the next is one of the worst skill progression imo either you're going to A=4 > B=4 > G=4 > B=9 > your preference of A or G skill to max first for a mobile supporter progression or A=4 > Max B > Max G > Max A for a CC lockdown control progression as for doing damage It's mostly coming out of her melee attack, which basically goes A while in air to go near enemies > melee a few hits > spin > disengage downing your opponents isn't your job, It's to get rid of their shieds and chip their health while your teammates down them then as the engage with the opponent other team members you go in and finish them as for the looting phase, your main priority is to rescue people and fully stock up on team heals, shields, and revive cards because late game you can always get away from enemies with your zero grav and hook combos depending on the area and since revive cards will always res all teammates as long as you survive It's possible to have a comeback and this strategy works even in solo que with the worst team comp possible that is, ochako, tsuyu, tenya. and we nearly win but with the enemies team having mt lady, dabi, and shigaraki we can't really do much against the enemies AOE and only got second place even though everyone on the team ws KO at least once
if you play her enough youll get a feel for what structeres grapple also stop wasting your alpha you only have three and use your float more it has a fast cooldown
I honestly dont think shes bad, if you actually able to combo eith her she can do some decent damage. I was able to get domeone in my gamma, hit the with alpha, release the gamma, (they still had shield) so i jumped and hit with wire wich broke the shield and launch toward them then i use the beta and was able to hit the once. Her combos can be hard to fo but when you pull them off it can feel good
That car swing isn't to be underestimated.
So true
But it’s her only good move. And after 3-4 hits it auto drops the enemy
It's at its strongest when people run away because it can be interrupted.

@@AvarithI don't know if it's bugged so much as he's just out of range sometimes
Just some random things Ive found when playing Uraraka:
Her Alpha is definately bugged out, especially on big buildings.
TLDR; she has good things, but maybe needs her Gamma to come out a bit faster, or at LEAST a bug fix for her Alpha quirk.

no good tsuyu can't keep up with good ura bcs of how uraraka movement works, at 2nd tsuyu isnt better character same as uraraka isn't better then tsuyu. IT all depends on situation in battle. They are both rapid, but they play completly other game.

??????????????????
I've actually died to her quite alot especially when she does her Spinning Attack. When she has the car it literally melts away your teamates. Only counter I've found is Todorokis ice slide and Denkis Dash attack. Both stuns her leaving her open for attacks from anyone. Played her today and she amazing. Except that float move. It takes too long to set up and when you get hit while doing it, it lags abit. It needs auto lock on because it seems useless to time it unless someone is standing still.
The float move is a good follow up to the spin knockback, since u can pre place it on their feet and get them as soon as the s run out
I haven’t unlocked Tsuyu yet, but love playing uruaka so far. I think she’s my current favorite. Definitely agree the bugged grapple is a huge problem tho. I think it has something with destructible terrain.
Please don't I don't want to face more Tsuyu's that can insta revive a teammate T^T.
Yeah, it could be that the game can't decide if the grapple should do damage to the structure or grapple, so it bugs out and does neither.
How do you get Froppy as a permanent character??

Fun team combo.
Use Uraraka's float + Kendou's throw on your third teammate and watch them go half way across the map.
It's great for getting people off high ground that love sniping.
Personal build is Beta>Gamma>Alpha
Use float on all Might, let him jump and say goodbye
He's just gone, he's flown out of the USJ
Use float on compress then get marbled and then have kendo throw you
Upgrade Uraraka’s Quirks 1st Beta -> 2nd Gamma -> 3rd Alpha
As a Uraraka and Tsuyu Main I can tell you for a fact Uraraka can be just as good as Tsu and sometimes better specifically when it comes to combat only problems are low normal jump height and her grappling hook is wildly inconsistent but Globku’s main issue is that he’s trying to play Uraraka like Tsuyu cause they have similar abilities but in reality the characters differences while seeming slight completely change up how how gotta play them
I’ve had matches where my teammates died early and left and I solo won the entire thing and was 2 times in a row
The key is her Beta Quirk you get that to level 9 as fast as possible it hits the opponent 3 times before launching them but if their downed it just annihilates them it’s also good for mobility you can get distance yourself and keep enemies away simultaneously
Always float before grappling and try to grapple the ground that is close to you or the higher and mid parts of buildings and tall structures it can miss a lot if your not familiar with the grappling distance though like Globku did in the video you can also grapple towards someone and attack for extra damage
Lastly her Gamma Quirk can be hit or miss it’s a little slow to start but is great for catching enemies off guard or protecting a giant item box after the Beta quirk your gonna wanna upgrade this one cause it’ll expand the effect area range it’s tough to use in close combat but if your ally is In trouble or you can lead the shot it’ll take out foes and their shields quickly and disorient them
All around Uraraka is probably an A tier if you know what your doing
Ochaco is a great character. point blank.
Been waiting for the Uraraka video so I could get better at her. Wasn’t ready for this tho😂
He used her pretty wrong, you need to max the spin skill first, the car is soo good but he chooses to max the first skill
I say this because the first skill is kinda bugged some times, so its better to have the skill in lvl 4
Then max the second and last skill.
With uraraka you hit and run, you dont need to use the gravity on allys, you can cross good part of the map with just the primary fire + gravity
Kool thx, I’ll try that more!
I made a video of me playing her if you wanna check it out
@@Zt3v3njuraraka tutorial how do i get good with her??
I really hope she get fixed, i don't play her but damn... her alpha quirk is way too inconsistent.
Buff her if you want but fix her first.
A few tips for those who want to play Urakaka (for some reason:)
I will say, her Beta quirk is very good. You can chain stun enemies in a few cycles if you release the quirk after it does the knockdown
I'm loving the daily videos for Ultra Rumble, you're my go to guy for any anime news. Good stuff!
the best xbox player uses uraka. you have to play her a certain way. she’s really good sometimes but it is glitchy with grapple for sure
Tuning in immediately, game is addicting honestly 😂😅
the best part about uraraka is that uraraka vs uraraka fights are summed up in a few words: BEYBLADE, LET IT RIP!!!!
Her b quirk should be faster moving, its so easy to back off and start shooting her well she's stuck in that animation.
They should have made her special when a teammate goes down you float them in the air while their recovering so they don’t get hit by other people of some projectiles will still be able to hit them like bakugo and deku’s compressed air but this is my opinion what do ya’ll think about it? Edit: yes you’d be able to float yourself when your down
Aint no way he is saying Uraraka is bad while Kirishima is good.
Have you not seen Kirishima's damage ?
Yes Uraraka isn't terrible, but her alpha quirk needs to be fixed, gamma is meh.
She is the weakest of her class (the speedster/high mobility characters)
@Avarith haven't seen it, but they should atleast be relative, or Uraraka is maybe slightly better. Idk.
@@ravionjohnson8852 he did a video on him but if you want my opinion:
Kirishima's main issue is he's great .. in close combat, No projectile and no big mobility move, his alpha can a bit janky sometimes but his beta is good, he has 400hp and REALLY GOOD damage (pretty sure his gamma quirk is one of, if not the best, strongest one-hit move)
Uraraka trades damage for mobility but because her alpha quirk is kinda broken, and not in a good way, she needs to be fixed and maybe buff but I don't play her enough.
i dont see her as a bad character nor a not fun character, her Special Action with Alpha Quirk is actually kinda cracked and fun, and then the Beta and Gamma quirk have good damage.
Got my first win with her 😂
Defenitly some skill issue XD ofc its a joke, no hate but a lot of ppl sleep on uraraka.
In conclustion uraraka gameplay is realy diffrent (like just much mroe diffrent) then other characters but if u get use to it, u can litterly carry ur teams with crazy mobility reviving ur teammates 3 times a match or just get into enemy and 1vs3 spin to win them
4:30 is it just me or did he just miss the tree and then blame it on the bug?
I started playing 4 days ago, I have 12 hours of play and 10 hours of it was just me playing Uraraka because of the event, it was fun...at first
Love Ochako, but her alpha is super buggy
the funniest part is that you have to play Uraraka to complete the event missions.
they knew what was up
I'm so happy you mentioned her grapple being bugged its been such a drag especially with having to use her if we want to complete the 'float 30 enemies' and 'win as her' event challenges
you should make another video with her one shot combo. (Good for ambushes)
[E > grapple (while they are mid air) > grapple > Release E > wait > grapple > melee > melee > LVL. 9 B Spin to WIn]
I really don't know why but my Uraraka grapple has never bugged to me, and I freaking main Uraraka and Iida 😅
(you can minimize this issue with using you gamma to reorient your character to said wall to enable you to climb, but it's annoying you can't just do it from the start.)
Tl:dr she doesn't really do anything well aside from moving fast, something even then she has competition for and tends to be too hard to learn/use with far too little pay off.
Most of her kit might be bad. But it’s made up for by just how broken the spin is.
Her Gamma quirk is great for:
1. Punishing people who don’t run after being knocked down, if you time it perfectly it’ll punish a Bakugo that immediately starts spamming after waking up.
2. Getting opponents away from finishing your Allies
She’s a stronger Tsuyu but has less movement, it’s really just about what your team needs.
I became champion for the first time in My Hero Ultra Rumble with Uraraka
Bro needs to lvl up the car spin😂 she is really OP with that
Uraraka is a living beyblade that once her opponent has been nailed into the ground with a car, they get lifted up with an anti-gravity field only for the combo to start all over again
She's cracked!
You should definetly do a revisit once she is fixed tho.
i main her, she is incredibly fun. the car swing is my bread and butter.
@@thebuzzard4543 I agree. The beyblade attack is very fun.
Uraraka is solid, she just needs Gamma quirk to have faster startup and have no grapple bug
so I have to be honest I hated this game for the first 2 days, I didn't win a game since I played with mouse and keyboard as soon as I connected the controller the game changed face now I win and above all I have fun
You throw your beta and while the opponent is floating, you hit them once with alpha and then slam.
Her whole gimmick is floating around and swinging the beta quirk around. She really isn't meant to play so grounded
Yo love you’re content
Ignoring her grappling bug
You're trying to play Uraraka like she's Bakugo and getting bad results.
All of her high mobility can be fine for an entire match, and then fumble right when you need it.
ohh didn't know B caps at 3 hit, i always thought it was due to me knocking back the enemies too much that their I frames kicks in
and most people say she mid or bad mostly to how they are playing the game in general, the fact how i play her is something a lot of people doesn't do in this game that is saving civilians
i mostly play her as a support and loot as much res cards and team heal/shield as possible or go to the big box if no ones spawn near it
@@GarethXL A lot of people judge the characters off of preconceived notions without realizing what the strengths of the character are.
Like Shiggy being a menace in close quaters and his ability to level terrain can force people to face him. That's his strength, but he can't fly around like Uraraka. You can make a ton of statements.
And yeah, I also play my Uraraka like a support. Bringin loot to my slower teammates.
I waited this video because I mostly play Uraraka, and then I saw the title 😭😭
Remember he said he his personal nightmare not urs
She has pretty insane Air Combos when you master her i think every cha IS good when you can Play him
I legit thought you could only grapple while using her special action until now because that's the only time I could get it to work consistently lmao
Ye it works a lot better when you use her special and her grapple so far it seems to work
Never used her and probably never will... but her beta quirk NEEDS a nerf... they just sneak up on you mid fight and detory your hp with a single move...
She’s actually a good character lol
If you're gonna be a rapid you might as well be the frog 🐸
Why wasn’t she given a grapple ability when she’s up close? Was her training for nothing?
You should definitely grapple into car instead of melee combo and i also recommend the Beta over Alpha !
Ochaco is def high tier that car is literally spin to win
Her low gravity ability should be based on kit man. Tsuyu’s leap is
I wasted 4 days playing this Character, 0 wins. Played Shigaragi ONE TIME after your video, 1 win 😭
I think the problem ur having is trying to play her like she's a ranged type when she's a melee type, the grapple is practically exclusively for mobility, not combat
her grapple is best utilized with her special action, it will make you float for days
as an escape if you aim it slightly up, no need to hold the climb button as her when you lighten for short.
I have dealt over 10k dmg in a single match with Uraraka yesterday
If she had a way to float you without actually touching you she would b much better. Just like Mr.Compress should b able to store a downed teammate
Her strongest strength is her mobility with her grappling hook. 😆
Nah float plus beyblade is op
He’s trying to play her like Tsuyu when he needs to be playing her like Uraraka using her Beta Quirk for damage and mobility also using float first is the key to her alpha quirk
@@pkpyro2000 I would play her more if her alpha quirk wasn't prone to bugging out and not latching on to objects as intended.
@@pkpyro2000yes yes, this right here guys
@@terrakage4462 I totally get that it’s super annoying to have it miss hopefully they get it fixed but there are ways to mitigate missing for the time being like grappling the ground that is close to you or higher and mid sections of buildings seems to be the most consistent the range isn’t as far as Tsuyu but using float first can get you some good distance
She's definitely more mobile than Tsuyu but you don't play them the same way TBH.
Uraraka is kinda great. Her spin is my nightmare. That's just me tho
She's worst than froppy because you get her for free while you have to get special licence to level 7 to get froppy
1:21 if this had immediate impact, i’d be so much better
Uraka can use the Gravity on Momo Canon.
I DESPISE the hammer spin
You kept aiming it at the windows of the building. It won't connect to weak surfaces like those. It's still true that it's janky though.
I know she's mid, but I only play her to look cute and throw cars
The grapple thing is horrendous, it hardly ever works. 😂
It can but it just needs to be aimed at the right thing for it to work that's how I get it to work 🤷🏾♀️
Do a Mr. Compress review. I want to see how you rate him 🤔
Clive clip is an automatic W
Yeah Globku I’m sure everyone’s already saying this but you should be upgrading your beta first and not your alpha quirk
i believe i know where all of her "buffs" gone to and made her mid
WHY ARE YOU FINISHING ME?
Uraraka would be s tier if her grapel wasnt buged
No one ever disses some of our best girls who's with me
Me
Amen
playing uraraka as a DPS while her kit consist of a mobility skill, a close range knock back CC, and an AOE stagger CC
........ 🤨😑
the fact you max out skill A first then going to the next is one of the worst skill progression imo
either you're going to A=4 > B=4 > G=4 > B=9 > your preference of A or G skill to max first for a mobile supporter progression
or A=4 > Max B > Max G > Max A for a CC lockdown control progression
as for doing damage It's mostly coming out of her melee attack, which basically goes A while in air to go near enemies > melee a few hits > spin > disengage downing your opponents isn't your job, It's to get rid of their shieds and chip their health while your teammates down them then as the engage with the opponent other team members you go in and finish them
as for the looting phase, your main priority is to rescue people and fully stock up on team heals, shields, and revive cards because late game you can always get away from enemies with your zero grav and hook combos depending on the area and since revive cards will always res all teammates as long as you survive It's possible to have a comeback
and this strategy works even in solo que with the worst team comp possible that is, ochako, tsuyu, tenya. and we nearly win but with the enemies team having mt lady, dabi, and shigaraki we can't really do much against the enemies AOE and only got second place even though everyone on the team ws KO at least once
That "aim assist" is goofy af might aswell be lock on lol
if you play her enough youll get a feel for what structeres grapple also stop wasting your alpha you only have three and use your float more it has a fast cooldown
im stuck on her right now trying to get the dub.. sucks when deku users dont use their revive
Her combos can be hard to fo but when you pull them off it can feel good
Haha the FFXVI reference lol
you're going to make iida build and the other two again now that it's not the beta or not ?
