As someone who's on dialysis, Dadsie has the right attitude: we just need to go forward. I love how Simsie, Momsie, Brent(sie) and Shanna(sie) all support him and each other.
This is so entertaining. Your parents seem like lovely bubbly people, and your dad is such a character. Enjoyed watching this! 😄 Edit.. My heart goes out to your dad, i want to thank him for sharing his story. My mum was diagnosed over a year ago with a rare cancerous patch of cells on the side of her tounge. since she has had multiple surgerys to remove parts of her tounge, another surgery was yesterday. Im glad to say she is okay but im scared shes at risk of it spreading & eventually ending her life. So this stream/video brought me comfort. 🧡
I met my best friend through Kayla’s streams. We had 2 amazing years together before she passed away from cancer at 14. I will scream and cry but I will never regret meeting her or getting close to her. And after she died I went back to lilsimsie streams as a source of comfort and a way to remember her. Thanks Simsie. We had matching Boo Hoodies. Mine is too small for me now but I still have it.
Thank you to your family for being so vulnerable and open with us. It also says a lot for the community you have created online Kayla. People and your close family feeling safe enough to share.. My dad was diagnosed with kidney cancer 7 years ago (after a routine check for something else completely, lucky they found it in time!) and he never went through chemo etc as apparently it does not work on kidneys. They removed it via operation while trying to keep as much of the kidney somewhat functional. They must have missed something because 5 years later on his next check up they saw it popped up again on the same kidney so then they removed it to be sure it was gone. He has 5 years of check ups again now but hopefully it's gone now his kidney is fully removed. It's a scary time but it's good people are willing to talk about the emotions surrounding cancer. Thank you Kayla for using your platform for this
Popsie is strong for going through what he did & fighting that battle. Momsie is also very strong for sticking by his side through it. Your family is amazing. You are amazing. I wish nothing but the best for you and your family. My cousin just went to his last post chemo appointment after beating cancer caused by his Chrones medication. I really appreciate everything you do.
When you watch the main channel edit, then come watch the vod, and see what was talked about right after... what an ordeal for you all to go through. It doesnt get any easier, you're all so strong to navigate things and with Kayla's reach you can see how many people can relate and have been uplifted from hearing about Dadsie's experiences. Its heartbreaking and heartwarmining at the same time. So much love to you all ❤
Your family is so amazing. I’m extremely grateful that your father (you and momsie also) shows his emotions on the matter. You are all making a difference and I’m so honored to be able to help❤️
You ever watch a simsie stream to homework and then sob while writing about volunteer management? Seriously, thank you for all of your openness and hard work. You are incredible, and you are such an inspiration to me.
Loved this! Your parents are so cute. Thank you for sharing so much of yourself, your family, your time, energy, creativity. This community exists and is so amazing because of you. Without you none of this would be happening. Congrats on continuing to smash donation goals! I know so much work goes into this. ❤
loved this stream sad i didnt get to catch it live but happy i get to see something as loving and awesome as these people sending love to you and your parents especially your dad!!
I want so much more of this!!! I wish we could have like a Jackbox family stream like the Among Us monthly stream! I know that's easier said then done but I just love you guys together!
Kayla, thank you. Just thank you. I’ve been watching you since 2015 and now I’m 20 and watched my momma beat cancer. You are an amazing person. And thank you Dadsie for telling us your story. My mom has been cancer free since March of 2020 (yes, a few days before the pandemic. Bad timing on the panini’s part 😑). Thank you to the entire Simsie fam for being so awesome ❤️❤️
Here's an idea for a trivia catagory. What's on: play audio clips from radio and tv stations from across the Sims franchise. The contestants have to guess the name of the station. Advanced alternative: same category specializing in any and all "secret" stations from across the franchise. Thanks for a very informative and entertaining video.
Thank you for this video and everything you’ve done! You and your parents are heroes, I’m really glad you do so much for st Jude and inspire people around you 💓💓💓
I missed this stream live and put the VOD on my YT playlist as soon as it was available. . . I'm watching it today, finally. Just announcing how far behind my playlist is, lol
46:22 🤣🤣🤣🤣 And what I ”love” abot this Saint Jude month is that canser is a thing to almost all of us and arpund the world. I live in Finland and I heard about St. Jude through these streams. My aunt and grandmom had cancer. My aunt died at 12/2012 and grandmom at 4/2023. Also my primary school teacher died at 6/2021 becouse of cancer and she had 3 little girls!! She was the best teacher in the world and I still remember the hug she gave. And she is the reason I am studying to be a teacher! And just like Dadsie said just the word of St. Jude that spread from the US to Europe and around the world!! And I will say that not only cancer affect to the patient but also to the family. And yes ofcourse the worry but the fact that to us it has inpact on in a alcohol way. My dad started drinking after his sister got diagnosed. He didin’t drank heavily but I mean when I was in kindergarden I used to to the pub with my dad with my sibling becouse my parents had divorced and we couldn’t be home alone. And now when my dads mom died cancer he started drinking again. Now we kids are older and will notice the difference but the fact that for example I won’t drink alcohol becouse of the memories when we were little and in a pub. And and just like dadsie said. Maybe for this days treatments my aunt would have survive

This whole stream was not only fun but very heart warming, Kayla, you and your parents are amazing people and your selflessness does not go unnoticed.
