You guys are my favorite! I can't believe how Hailey has opened up compared to the beginning when she seemed so shy she didn't want to be on camera. Thank you guys for always giving all of us great content!
You are right ,I can see Hailey has opened and think in part is because she has a loving and supporting partner Like him who loves her very much , you can feel he is a good man and both have great complicity, I love them too.
You guys, this is like ground breaking material!!! I've never seen an ebay youtuber do this and it's awesome!! Keep up the great content! You guys just keep growing and growing.
I’m not sure about where you guys live but around me there is scrap and junk yards that would pay for your copper and other metals it would be like getting free money. Love your videos I’m totally invested in this remodel. You guys are great
I would love longer videos for the house renovation maybe 30 or 35 minutes. Its interisting on how everyone renovates and flips houses tbh. And idk how long i have been subscribed but i think for over 1 or 1.5 years already. Always looking forward for more videos. All the love from denmark!
@@DFDamer71 i think that is should be a bit of a side thing like that they still include the flipping of items from ebay but make it like a part 1 of 2 so we can see what they do to the house sepretly in a a way.
I've been a subscriber for quite a while and never thought I'd see you two doing something like this. You two never cease to amaze us. What a creative idea you have to pay for all your expenses from the house by selling items picked up at flea markets, etc.
I love that you’re always coming up with new content so it’s not always the same thing like some of the other channels I’ve seen. Love when you do different challenges. Can’t wait to see more of the house renovation 😊
When you take out the copper take it to the scrap yard and they will give money for it. You should see what else you can scrap for money. My husband is a plumber and he takes copper pipes and hot water heaters. The scrap yard will take most metals.
Cool to see that y’all are going to move the oven to keep it completely open i honestly think that will look the best and with doing that you could even possibly add a small to medium island
I love how you incorporated the new venture with the thrifting. Helps reel in new viewers while not forgetting to dance with the ones that brought you. Great content. Keep rocking and congratulations on the house.
Great job Josh and Haley!keep the copper your removing. They’re worth something as I’ve been told. Glad your keeping tile and spraying over it. Will save money for sure! Can’t wait to see what your going to do with the house! Good luck!
M from Australia. We have showrooms in our kitchen & bathroom renovation stores. If so they may be able to give you more ideas. Love your enthusiasm as always. 😊
Love the new videos and I started reselling because of it. Now you're making house flipping look like so much fun:) don't worry I'm not getting into that anytime soon. Love the videos!!
Loving your new venture! Hey Josh, you and Hayley have really turned me on to a lot of other youtube resellers, however, you guys are my absolute favorite! The enthusiasm that you go into everything with just makes me smile. Hayley was going after those walls with a passion. lol. I wish you could do more videos, as I'm always waiting for a new one. But, I understand the time that goes into making them. Your videos are the best, love the way you creatively edit them.
This was a great video, it's so great seeing you both really working hard to do this renovation, I'm s excited for you both can't wait for the next video. Thanks for sharing.
I cannot wait for the next video! Love this. Also, for the kitchen: depending on where the door is (i.e. is the garage attached, is the front door near the kitchen?), you may want to just wall over that door for more space. But that is, of course, if it’s cost effective and you can find a way to make it look good on the outside of the house. Definitely do the cabinets all the way to the ceiling. Try Best Buy or Sears outlets for appliances.
Lose the 2nd soap dish. Put in niches instead. Soap dishes are the most common bathroom repairs we get managing rentals. They also seem to be the biggest reason the walls behind the tiles get wet. I bet demo was fun!
Good job on the demo. I have worked in home construction for 30 years. One thing I would do is save all the metal you remove, especially copper, and sell it at a scrap yard.
I may be crazy, but I think if you ask subscribers for some physical help with the remodel, you will most likely get some skilled volunteers. I'm personally way to old to tackle a task like this, but I'm sure there are some watchers that would like to help for a little camera time.
Good morning. Love you 3 . . I know your next step Is to take out the copper piping in the house. And that's great . But do not just throw it away . Take it to your closest recycle ♻️ company and sell it and add that to your budget. Also if you replace any windows and doors External or internal also sell those as well. Harry You beenibg a carpenter/ furniture maker you know how valuable those doors can be to some one who make things . If I recall anything else you can resell to add to your budget I will leave another note . Many blessings.
Just wondering if you had that linoleum flooring tested for asbestos? If it is asbestos you can’t remove it yourself and asbestos abatement is expensive.
several people commented about the possibility of asbestos in the last video, including myself. In this video, Josh states that Hayley is removing just the laminate flooring in the kitchen because their is the possibility of asbestos in the linoleum underneath. So, I'm sure they are having it tested before moving forward with removal.
Would definitely leave the wall in the kitchen. People are desiring more defined rooms now since so many are working from home. Also, the storage / cabinet and counter top space that it will provide will be extremely beneficial for resell profits. Have y'all considered doing the counter depth fridge on that wall? Josh, have you tried the Mocha Cream Cold Brew from CF yet?! :)
I think this is a great addition to channel for entertainment value and to even show people that would like to do upgrades on there home with a lil work they can pay for it by reselling
Im glad yall kept your thrifting in with this video i was worried that itd just flip to house renovations. Definitely shows everyone what other potential stuff you can achieve if you have a goal in mind.
Just want to tell you what an inspiration you both are to me; and many others I'm sure. One of your early video on how to make $1,000.00 starting with Zero dollars or it may have been one dollar and free stuff a few years back had me hooked.
To help future proof the house technology wise, I recommend since you have the walls stripped down to the studs to run CAT 6 cabling to multiple locations in each room. Will allow technology devices easy access no matter where you are in the house. And run all the wires back to a central location to have a network closet
The rental of an excavator to flip (over) the house cost more than $20. By the time I can get to the hats row, literally nothing is left. Some Target and $1 Tree things are left so that's not quite true. It takes no time at all to get $20 (in cost) at my bins.
Take the copper pipes to a metal recycling place. You should get good money to help offset the new plumbing. Same for the wiring if you wind you rewiring the house.
In basketball we say “he’s in his bag” when someone is having a good game. Y’all are definitely in your bag with the idea of incorporating the reselling with the flipping of the house. Bravo Bravo 🙌🏾 Just Genius
I have watched your videos the last two years. Really look forward to see how the House turns out. Very good idea to always have another project for the next year or two.
You guys are amazing!! I'm a first-year teacher at a middle school and I have a student addicted to your videos! We make time to watch the new video each week! Thanks for this new great series!
Disco Ball? Lol. Oh how I love you guys. That's a Christmas light projector. Actually sells for about 20 to 30 depending on the brand and what it does. Awesome video guys.
I know I'm saying the same thing as the last house flip video. Check out ReStore by Habitat of Humanity in your area even if it's a further drive. They will have cabinets, bathroom items, paint, flooring so many things that you could use to flip this house.. probably your soap dish!! It also sticks with your theme of buying used to flip for profit (some items are still brand new they are just donated by contractors).

You both are amazing and need your own HGTV show. A combo of flipping items to pay for flipping houses. I would watch that everytime.
I agree. I watch a lot of hgtv shows and Josh and Hayley would be great for this type of reality show.
But then most of us couldn't see it. You Tube reaches around the world. HGTV does not.
Also, really interesting concept of combining the reseller part of your channel with the house-flipping adventure!

Super cool kids. On that kitchen wall, since it's weight barrier maybe just install a pass through or maybe a bar area

I actually like the blue tile, with the right shower curtain it could look really cool

Can you add a niche to an existing tiled shower and waterproof it correctly?

Reselling and House Flipping is going to be the new addiction of choice for the internet.
My two favorite UA-cam genres merge - reselling and renovation! Can’t wait to watch you two go along this journey
Good job on the demo. I have worked in home construction for 30 years. One thing I would do is save all the metal you remove, especially copper, and sell it at a scrap yard.
We’re saving the copper but not bothering with anything else. Don’t have a truck

I can see even local contractors getting free advertising from the channel would help cut costs.

Resellers, remodelers and now..... fashion icons!!! What a trifecta!!!
Smart ideas so far. Great job I love demo

the appliances, ceiling fans , threw out another $20-40 in scrap.
