Hey girl, love your videos, hope all is going well with your new job. I’d advise The Doux Mousse Def for your slicked back bun. It’s got great hold and doesn’t have that waxy feeling. It probably works best when the hair is soaking wet. I pair it with the Kinky Curly knot today leave in.

Omg! Thank you for this! I actually have never used mousse on my natural hair…interesting! Okay so question, if I blow dry my hair then use mousse, do you think it will revert it immediately back to curly?

@@AnnaBelise I haven’t used it yet on blow dried hair but I think it probably would revert. I use it for flat twists, braid outs, cornrows on freshly washed hair. Technically it’s a foam but it’s marketed as a mousse. Check out this tutorial. She used a Mielle mousse but I guess the principles are the same. ua-cam.com/video/pP0WaKq-i4s/v-deo.html

I live in LA and would love to know what salon /stylist you go to to. I saw in one of your videos you went to I love LuLu. Is that where the stylist told you about the Verb products? Looking for a natural stylist in LA. Suggestions please!!!

Hey! I actually stopped going to I Love Lulu! Personally, after my first initial visit, I don’t feel like my other appointments were all that good. I now go to my mothers friend who is a hairstylist, but she doesn’t do natural hair. And she recommended VERB as well as it’s a 10. So I really just go to her for treatments and then she’ll give me a press and curl! But I don’t hate I love Lulu so definitely give it a try. You can contact my current stylist at taralovebeauty.com

Same for me with the braiding hair. I always have to soak it in water and ACV, otherwise it will irritate my skin so much. There is also some companies that create the hair without those chemicals. Just a lil extra money for it.

I’ve seen those braiding hair companies you are talking about but they are always out of stock when I check 😭😭😭 hopefully one day I can try! Have you tried any?

@@AnnaBelise yes I have tried some and they really do work. I had no issues with rashes, itching, etc. it’s been a while since I had some braids so I couldn’t tell you which brand I used. You can also order some online.
