He's helped me so much n he doesn't even know it but I'm glad it seems like he's finally found some clarity.
He kinda assumes too much right in front of the artist rather than letting them speak sometimes but he does do really well at having interesting starting points for more thoughtful convos
I love seeing childhood friendships blossom to lifelong (adult) friendships. Hearing him speak about Tyler's love for chords and bridges was so touching considering the fact that they started making music together as kids, they saw each other develop as artists and human beings, they may have went their different directions artistically and business wise but the love and camaraderie is still there.
Exactly!! And you can tell how much love he has for bro cause dawg started smiling hella big and it seemed like just talking about how T is, it took him back to memories/time spent with him.

I love this man. For his artistry, honesty, and transparency. It takes a lot for a man to bare his soul on a record and Earl does it time and time again. I’m so glad we got this interview.
As someone who is basically the same age as Earl, it's been so cool watching his artistic vision evolve from teenager to manhood. Listening to him talk reminds me of the emotional journey that life really is. This guy is a different breed.
Started my day off with a Billy Woods verse from Tabula Rasa playing in my head which prompted me to listen to the album when I got home from work, now I'm ending the day with this amazing interview, God Is Great 💖🇿🇦
@ANYTHNG G03S no one’s saying he looks depressed bro , they mean by his own progress and hoping that seeing someone who battled mental struggles and overcoming them means they would be able to as well
As a father Earl is beginning to understand his own father on a new level even though he isn't physically here anymore, that's such a blessing for him to be able to let go of any resentment he may have had for his father, and forgive his father for not being perfect, as none of us are. His eyes are open now and he is going to be an amazing father and have an amazing life from here on out, no doubt. He has been in darkness and emerged so that he will never return, he's a man now. Also that Nas impression killed me 🤣 I had to make due with that album too, loved some of it though

That last segment on learning to not attempt to overstate your enjoyment was spoken like a true overthinker lmao. Earl's nature is contemplative, which is cool but that's not at all how you arrive at blissfulness so it's refreshing to hear him beginning to understand that difference
I think he went to the dentist and got his teeth fixed or something. Probably had to get used to talking with them. Same thing happened to Khaled recently, he was sounding the same way. It's all good though!

This is so beautiful. My daughter is around the same age as his son so it was really inspiring to hear his perspective on fatherhood, especially since I grew up listening to Earl during my childhood. Zane and Earl, both very brilliant people
Still blows my mind that Earl has a kid, to hear him talk with so much pride about raising his son is amazing
Crazy that he's only 27. Talks with so much wisdom.
I was today years old when I found out Earl has a kid

He always posted on his story he’s just private about it
