Bird mama raised and birthed me, I ain’t changed I’m a man I’m just saying that I stayed imperfect
Earl is not my name, the world is my domain, kid
Somebody from my generation I genuinely look up to as an artist. Showed young creators how to maneuver through the game of music without losing himself.
Took the word outta my mouth yo
Visualizing Earl collecting his thoughts before talking to Ludacris has me dead LMAO
I could listen to Earl talk for E V E R
This dude is something else.
i swear bro
Agreed. Sage dude
this dude is really in demand, on-demand, and on-call. He's the man, on God.....

Crazy for this one...
Happy Zane invited Earl back, you can feel the energy and excitement. 10 years later we can reflect on his journey from OF, being sent away, coming back grounded, and becoming a father. His music still stands, it’s evolving with him
Completely lost it when they were talking abt Earl’s gym and he just goes “Ludacris be in there” while Zane drops a bomb. That’s crazy 😭😭😭
Grateful to have seen this man’s whole journey in real time.
I freakin love you Thebe! Warms my heart to see you so happy! The new album is already my favourite album of the year. It's not to late to add "Wind In my Sails" on the official release btw
And Hatrick!

The Adam Levine shoutout 😂
This is such a great conversation. Earl's music has accompanied me through so much. It's been amazing to see him grow and evolve as an artist. I'm so happy to see him happy, healthy and radiant. Thank you Earl and Zane ❤❤
Earl got me out of some rough times, much respect for this man. never get tired of his music.
honestly didnt seem like he wanted to be all there at the brooklyn doris show, but after watching this makes complete sense. hes completely grown out of it and doesnt even like some of the songs on it, hoping the voir dire shows go great in that case
10 years flew by man
I go back to Doris at least once a year. Such a phenomenal album. I think about my very early 20s alot when I bump it. Sentimental album for me.
Me and Earl are the same age so I've been listening to him since the beginning, its awesome seeing him and listening to every album, feels like I'm on this journey with him.
The interviews with Zane and Earl are so therapeutic
Still play Doris to this day. A classic to me.
Been rocking with Thebe since he was going by the rap name Sly tendencies, and I just want to say I love you bro, I feel like we have been going through some of the same struggles together and your music is just super special to me. I hope you continue to do what you do for many more years to come.
This conversation is amazing I appreciate how personal it is and his journey over the 10 years since the album dropped
Earl the 🐐; when I was 14 the Earl Mixtape was one of the greatest pieces of music I had ever heard. Then he dropped Doris & went crazier
i'm so happy to witness his growth as an artist and as a human being. very wholesome and fulfilling. it can only get better from here on out.
Love Earl man, Happy 10 years to Doris 🔥🔥🔥
Earl is a big inspiration on me….. so good to see him back and healthy. Love these conversations
Still playing Doris several times a month to this day.
U okay bro?
@@jestoncraig2454 good album, my favorite from him.

EARL LOOKING HEALTHY ASF💪🏽
Non-stop smiling cheek to cheek the whole episode. I love you, Thebe. You the real one bro

Earl should have a podcast. He’s simply magnetic
Love to Earl man been a big fan since the Sly Tendencies Kitchen Cutlery days and it's great to see him happy and healthy 🙏🏾
As an rnb artist the level of detail someone like him can exhibit is so scary tbh
Earl u have no idea how much of a legend u are to us real hip hop enthusiasts. Your one of a kind I miss your old style
I was literally trying to explain the significance of this album to someone a week ago on mushrooms trying to not sound crazy. Such a wild time when earl just got back from Africa. He was like a ghost for years and back. Drops chum. God what a time.
earl really a living legend man
Listening to this album for the last couple of months , its so gorgeous and its insane how he was only 18
You can tell Earl is a man of culture
Yup perfect recounting of a classic Rick and Morty episode 😂

Went to the 10 Year Anniversary concert . Thank you Thebe for pouring your soul into the music, really got me through some tough times. Best poet of my generation ✍🏾
i got to meet him at the chicago show it was so dope
Damn what a good conversation. Earl and I are the same age. I was the most depressed I've ever been when I Don't Like Shit came out. I'm in a better place now. Heard his album a few weeks ago and just felt so much joy in it. Seeing him now, the interviews, the shows, feels so great.
Bro he looks so good! I’ve never seen him looking so clean and healthy
Earl needs his OWN show asap!

You know I'm starting to believe the whole Saturn thing. The position of it at your birth is roughly the same position every 30 years. It's used to define big changes in our lives. And most people go through big life changes every 30 years, roughly.
Earl has entered that first change. And we all can tell how positive and happy he is. It's beautiful to finally see. I'm 31 myself and recently had a lot of changes. Some good and some... well I lost my only parent, my mom. But my dad died too, one of my uncles, my grandma.... all in a span of like 3 years. Ridiculous. But it's helped me mature, learn more about life and death. And confront it all instead of pushing death to the back of my head. We all die yet avoid the topic. So dumb.
Peace to you. I agree with Saturn return. I’ve had major shifts in this year alone. I 100% agree
This interview is top tier🙌🏾
Zane Lowe is one of the best in the business
I'm back cuttin' up a list of reasons I love my mother's laugh
The best one is that's just what it is
amazing seeing earl like this crazy how we grew up with him
Saw Earl live for the first time this year, such an entertaining performer and effortlessly talented rapper
He raps better on stage than he does recording. His stage presence is amazing
Earl has been my hero since i was in middle school listening this dude rap as a 18 year old.
Earl is Everything
ive been waiting for this!!!

I respect him so much genius. . and ayyyy the La Brea Ave. thats right next to my house. Also he went to this highschool that is right next to my highschool and i always forget and when i remember it makes me so happy.
Love to see earl smiling and happy 😊
“He’s my family” in that voice just brought me back I needed that
earl is still one of the best rappers in the last 20 years
Great interview. So happy for this dude right now.
Earl the goat
Cant wait to see earl in Fast 17
Zane’s goin’ WILD with that boom sound. 😆
I missed his show in London. It was sold out too quickly. So sad. I wish he'd do bigger venues or 2 nights if it's gonna be small. Sometimes I understand an artist being tired but if it's gonna be that small? He can do what he wants. Just wish I could finally see him live. Just once.
I travelled from Leeds to his London show and it was super disappointing. He only played Doris for like 20 mins and let his DJ just play random songs from other rappers for 15 mins while Earl was on stage dancing. It was super weird, was amazing seeing some Doris songs like Sunday but overall it was a let down, you didn't miss too much
Glad to see Earl making his rounds, he really a young Goat
I loved Doris when it came out and never understood the reaction to it
I loved SRS when it came out and totally understood the reaction
Always priceless! Had to show huge love in the Attack The Culture 'News' section - Zane Lowe secures epic Q&A's.
