Thank you so much for keeping the community hyped years before the announcement Roxy! Can't wait!
Yes! Thank you Roxy!!!!!
When will the next trailer be?
I am convinced the redheads name is Josephine. Remember the soothsayer in Rattay? Oldish woman, blue dress? Sometimes stands under the bell in the square? If you have her read Henry's future, she talks about him falling in love with a beautiful redhead. "Named Josef. No, wait, Josephine." I'm calling it right now!
Oh, that is very well spotted if it indeed is Jospehine,
These sort of comments almost have me scared staying up-to-date with KCD2 stuff lol. Very well spotted indeed
she says several different names and descriptions but it could still be true
@@ebonyPM The names she says are Theresa (Who Henry is in a relationship with), Elishka (Executioners potential relationship), Katerina, and Josefina. The last two I can't find any mention of in the first game.
But what about Theresa? Is Henry really cheating on her for a woman named Josephine??
Heyyy of course we filmed all Markvart´s poses again for KCD2, we are not some penny pitchers! Good to hear we nailed the pose , it´s all intentional reference :-)
🤣❤️❤️
Thanks for putting so much work and passion into this project, it seems to be rare in the gaming industry these days for developers to be led by passion and not profit.
I assume Roxy meant "maybe they didn't film them *yet*". :D But I have also heard speculation that the game is already finished or very very close.
when your works is too good to confuse people
@@willdrew287 we follow usual marketing pattern: 1. Collect underpants 2. ??? 3. Profit
1:55 judging by the view behind the village and the layout of the village, its probably the small villiage near Trosky castle with name Tachov. Looking at the map, seems like henry is standing just above the road at 50.5168106N, 15.2222992E looking to the north west tovards the center of this small settlement.
10:38 in my opinion these 2 guards are here to show, that gunpowder was a new thing in 1400s Europe, ordinary folks from villiages did not know this black powder and that its dangerous to get nearby it with torches.
12:46 my guess would be this is Tvrz Malesov at 49.9109783N, 15.2213853E if you look at historic pictures, it looks similar with the big building in the corner of the castle. And there was a big battle on 7. 6. 1424 (could be related?)
19:10 this is Kostel Matky Boží Na Náměti in Kuttenberg at 49.9501194N, 15.2730400E
This is some serious research, Jesus christ be praised!
Bro... you are right at least on the first one! I just searched it on google earth and it all makes sense! The paths are identical from his perspective.
Just going to say that you are the reason why this community was alive for so long and our biggest constant source of reliable information. Thank you!
10:59 Yes indeed that's father Godwin, and noone con tell me otherwise
Vavra already said its him so yea
We've learned in KCD1 that Godwin had a military past, so it's quite logical he might show up in this one. I also expect Martin, Henry's stepdad, to play a role. There's a somewhat hidden dialog option in the prologue of KCD1 in which Henry learns that Martin was involved in some shenanigans in Kuttenberg before he settled down in Skalitz. It's not too far a stretch of the imagination that Henry learns a bit more about his history too.
@@dschoene57 He's the youngest son of the Kuttenberg lords. Makes a lot of sense to have him there if there's things going on
thank you for keeping this series alive between games! its so easy for games to be forgotten about with how long it takes to make a follow up so your work on this channel is much appreciated by myself and the rest of the community!! ❤️
My favourite part of KCD has always been the armor, I was always so stoked to have the ability to use Henry as a canvas and absolutely drip him out.
I paid close attention to the armor in the trailer, as I plan to do the same in the second game, and have noticed a few things.
1. I believe that the modularity of the armor will be expanded on even further, I believe that certain pieces, such as pauldrons or plate chausses will be divided into multiple parts.
In plate chausses for example, instead of just one piece, you will have three, those being a vambrace, or the forearm guard; a couter, or the elbow guard; and the spaulder, or shoulder guard.
Multiple characters in the trailer present the same vambraces, but different couters, or spaulders. Furthermore, I am of the belief that you will be able to wear these sets of armor in incomplete fashion, where you might wear a vambrace and couters, but no spaulder, or viceversa.
The same can be seen in plate chausses, specifically on the soldier in red, to whom Henry does a cool twirly axe move on. He wears cuisses, and poleyns, but no greaves.
There is an absence of sabatons in the trailer, but I presume that they will follow the same rule, wherein they would be part of a 'complete set' of chausses, but not necessary to wear.
2. I believe you will be able to alter the order in which armor is worn. In the KCDI, the order in which armor is worn is universal: Gambeson>mail>plate>doublet. But if you notice, characters will wear armor in differing orders, and Henry is the sole character to wear armor in two different orders.
Characters such as Markvart, and Henry (during the scene he confronts Toth) will wear their armor in the orthodox way, gambeson>mail>plate>doublet.
But Henry earlier on, and many more characters are seen wearing their armor in a peculiar fashion, that being: gambeson>plate>mail>cuirass>aventail>doublet. (Note: It could be that mail coifs are worn under the cuirass, and aventails are worn over it, but I'm not entirely sure on that point.)
So this leads me to two conclusions, either one, there will be two types of chainmail, one that is wide at the shoulders, and another that hugs the body tightly, or alternatively, the ability to choose in what order you wear it.
But something else to note, is that some characters are seen wearing some sort of doublet, or waffenrock over their mail armor, and then wearing their cuirass over it. So I do believe that their will be some modularity, specificaly in the area of where you place your cuirass, but further than that, it is all a guess, and wishful thinking.
Also, to conclude, I see many more colored variants of the same armor, such as those seen in certain chausses, and pauldrons in the 1st game, which is definitely a plus.
EDIT: Upon further analysis Henry wears a sabaton in the scene where he is pushed off a cliff, but as to how they'll work, I have no clue.
1:19 - you are right on that one. This sequence shows Henry, Hans and their entourage on their way to Otto von Bergow at Trosky castle. Tobi, the PR guy from warhorse confirmed in a German stream that KCD2 essentially starts with the same ride that began in the final sequence of KCD1. If you watch that sequence in the trailer closely, you can see that Mutt is with them too.
Yup, Mutt clearly visible there!
That's a pity because I left that annoying dog at the Rattay mill
@@slynt_ So did I, but as it seems you're stuck with the fleabag in the second game unless you put an arrow to its head.
tthe torture scene is a flashback in vranik
6:21 that animation jank on the left enemy's hand going through his head. :D
I am gonna preorder for myself and for my mom! She's a massive KCD deliverance fan
@13:34, Blue Palace in Solitude (was mentioned in chat during live stream), have been there many times to visiting Jarl Elisif the Fair
I'm sorry to say that, but I don't think that Theresa is going to be back😢 Based of the Instagram post of her face model. Apparently she got a lot of hate and negative feedback after the first game. God only knows why. People on the internet can really be just horrible... If she will be back, she will be recast, I think...
That's awful. Can't imagine what negativity anyone would say about her
That's terrible. I can't imagine what would've motivated people to do that. Some few people were apparently really, REALLY unhappy with the women's lot DLC. They got super mad that they couldn't go back to playing Henry at will and apparently struggled really hard staying alive as Theresa. I've read a forum post that was more curse words than clean language..
I loved the DLC and Theresa's voice especially. What an utter shame. Some people man :/
The vitriol around that dlc by certain parts of the community (thankfully a small minority) were disgusting and I don’t blame her :( that’s awful
@@SexyBiscuit How about a little community effort to make it up to her maybe, Roxy?
Send enough good people her way to counteract the bad and thank her for her work in KCD or something similar. Parting with her on that sour note doesn't feel right.
Edit: I just found out that Theresa's face actress is a different person to her motion capture / voice actress (mo-cap and English voice by Victoria Hogan).
Her face actress is from Prague and doesn't publicly state her real name, but her twitch and instagram go by the name of "umrusamaskockama", which literally translates to "I'm going to die alone with my cats" apparently.
Go and say something nice to her if you like.
@@Bassalicious I'd be on board! That stuff is NOT okay.
Kutna Hora town can be translated as "Mining Mountain" town.
nah. Kutná is in german: Kutte, or english: cowl / habit. But you´re right with Hora: Mountain.
@@docweathers9808 "Kutna" is related to czech word "kutat"=digging. The town name is entirely assosciated with silver mining during medieval time.
@@radascz OK, i was wrong. sorry and thank you!
In the Witcher 3 game there is an option to take into account your Witcher 2 play through with all decisions you made, wonder if they WH can make the same thing for KCD2?
its a cool feature - many bioware, and obsidian games have the same feature.
Forgetting where I heard but that most likely won’t be an option sadly
Tobias Stolz-Zwilling (PR Manager WH) already denid such an Option on a German Stream. No data Transfer from KDC1 to KDC2.
OMG.. round 2? GAWD I lost a TON of sleep playing the first Kingdom Come Deliverance(sigh)..Could NOT stop!
Would it be possible to Run into Kuno and his Band again - During Kunos and Danglers Dialog they mention on heading to Kuttenburg
In the screen shot of markvart turning his head, that man on the left in the white armor, do y’all think it’s Erik? I haven’t played the first one in a while but he got away right?
Erik was released to Toth when they left Talmberg Castle at the end
@@GuntherRommel so it could be Erik? Interesting
@14:38 the flag shown on the combat arena is a Hungarian royal flag. Perhaps the tournaments available may have a multinational pool of competitors rather than purely local.
So looking forward to KCD2 🙌🏻
Thx Roxy!! ❤️
❤️
"If I'm right, I'm a fucking genius" made me laugh out loud xD i fcking love you Sxybiscuit.
at 3:13 the people we see riding, if I'm not mistaken, bere the crest of otto von bergow, white bird in a red shield, who hans and henry are going to meet at trosky, btw love the videos!
19:20
The entrance to the churchyard is very similar to the Sasau town church with all that stonewall, a doorway on the opposite side from the street and the little cross in the yard right next to the doorway.
Basically the scenes in the trailer when Henry wears yellow armour those are from the beginning of the game. KCD1 ended and Henry was wearing that. And also the torturing scene is a flashback from the first game.
Something I just noticed is I truly think in the trailer when you hear a guy say “you know the problem with an adventurous life, it can end before it gets started”. After restarting the first game I believe it’s Henry’s farther the blacksmith that’s speaking. Probably like a flash back. Idk just my thoughts.
I'm also guessing you'll be wounded at the start of the game as a way to having to learn your skills again
I was just playing through KCD again, went to Radzig and asked him about Godwin. Radzig said that Godwin is the youngest son of the lords of Kuttenberg. It all makes sense now, that's why he's there
6:28 poor guy on the left has his arm dislocated
The only youtuber that loves this game as much as i do
2:47 that maille on the left looks so good.
Thanks for the kcd contentttt! I love any kind of kcd stuff you make!
I am seriously so so excited, Roxy. I cannot wait to watch your playthroughs and hear all about this game on your channel.
Trosky is such a strange name for a castle. It literally means Ruins (Debris/The wreckage). But already the first written mention of the castle is about Čeněk from Vartenberk with the surname from Trosk. But in Polish the word Troska (singular number because Trosky is plural) means CARE. So the meaning of the word must have shifted over the centuries.
Maybe the castle itself is responsible for the shift. When people looked at its ruins for 4 centuries, two towers reaching to the sky.
So glad to see new KCD(2) stuff on your channel! I am soooooooo excited.
On the keeping deliverance. I think it might be that deliverance is Henry's story. When they have wrapped that up, a kingdom come (insert title here) will follow with a new main playable character.
19:28 That is indeed Kuttenberg St Bartolomej church which actually standed along the city wall. It didnt preserved like in the graphic but you can clearly see rebuild baroque tower in the city of Kutna Hora today. As we count monasteries there is St. James one in KH, this one, Barbora where reveal took place, the Our lady nameti. There is a one spiky tower in the lower town of Kuttenberg right side on the screen in 19:00( maybe its town hall?) so next potential one. I'm sure they added Sedlec abbey with oussary and big cathedral church, so there are going to be some interesting buildings ingame. Let's hope we can fully explore them and drink a bit with priests ;D. The one I didn't found is 17:58. I assume it can be outside the main part of the city surrounded by an another wall, like sort of lower town. As I checked on maps it is east and east-south of Kutna Hora. Has anyone figured it out already?
I'm ready to embark on a new adventure with you Mr Sexy Biscuit into KCD2. It's gonna be EPIC and we'll be around for a long time!
The sharpening bit seems like a blade in the making. Posibly part of the smithing minigame too
Great pictures!!! Can hardly wait to play … and watch YOU play!
Regading the scene with the exposive, here is a part of the Wikipedia article for Otto IV of Bergau, the important part is at the end.
Otto was born in 1399 to Otto III of Bergau and Markéta of Žlunice. He inherited parts of his father's estate including Trosky Castle and Chlumec nad Cidlinou. In 1414, Otto raided the Opatovice Monastery [cs] in Opatovice nad Labem.[2] He is said to have hidden the treasure in Trosky Castle, supposedly in an underground cellar blocked by a huge boulder.[3]
So perhaps the explosives is to try and steal Otto IV's treasure?
Edited because I can't paste.
Also another tidbit from Wiki:
In 1416, Racek was sent to Kutná Hora to collect taxes for the king. The local preachers incited the miners against him and on 2 February 1416, Racek and 12 of his associates were murdered in an inn by a mob of miners fueled by religious fervor.[8]
That's on the Wiki page for Radzig Kobyla. Maybe we nick the treasure whilst trying to tax the local lords on behalf of the King - they did say this would be an affair of Kings and such in the trailer.
Roxy! Yesterday i was watching your reaction on the trailer!
I'm in love with u🙈❤️
I can't believe Tom has been a part of your videos that's awesome man he seems like a great guy bring on KCD2 I'm still in shock it's coming
@11:00, it would make allot of sense if that character actually is father Goodwin, but I don't think we know that for sure yet.
Yeah he talks about god. So yes
@@gustavfalke1607 agree that he is a priest, but what i meant was that it would make allot of sense if that priest was Father Godwin given his background as a mercenary. Therefore if you would want a priest along who else would be a better fit then Godwin? Someone who can both fight (remember Godwin still practice his sword skills) and the priest things?
Daniel Vavra (game director) confirmed on twitter he is father Goodwin

Similar one is available on slovakia flag too
And a guy behind in chequered red and white. It's been a symbol of Croatia for a while but not sure if it goes that far back
Yeah I saw that too it's definitely a Hungarian camp
I’m pretty damn excited for this!! I just hope we have some more accessibility options in this newest game. I don’t mind the challenge but having the option to make things more accessible would be awesome! I’ve been trying to find information but I don’t think we’ll know until it’s out.
I hope this runs well on my PC. Also I hope the interiors are a bit more varied and not so much copy paste. 🙂👍

Right, listen here gtx960; we've had a good run. A full decade we've been friends, through thick and thin. It's time to part ways soon and you will be dearly... forgotten pretty much immediately if I'm being honest. KCD2 hyyype! :D
I'm impressed if you played KCD with a 960 :O
@@AleksiJoensuu 1080p at tweaked medium settings 40-65 fps. yup yup.
@@Bassalicious I mean yeah I guess it makes sense. I'm playing with a GTX 1070, and getting locked 60fps @ 1080p and 1200p with mostly high settings - some medium, some very high. It can dip as low as 45fps rarely in night time scenes with lots of light sources and reflections. Like if there's several soldiers on a rainy castle wall. The monastery courtyard is heavy, too, with those beautiful windows.
But for sure KCD2 will need a new GPU. I was just thinking if it would pay to tip off Warhorse or Deep Silver to contact AMD or Nvidia to arrange some kind of bundle sale. There are definately a lot of players looking for a GPU upgrade once this rolls out :D
@@AleksiJoensuu Funnily enough I bought my 960 in a bundle with Witcher 3 back in the day and it *barely* runs that game too. :D
But yeah during rainy nights in a busy area life is rough for GPUs in KCD. I tweaked the settings to never drop below 40fps - that's pretty much my pain threshold for choppiness.
@@Bassalicious AMD had a Starfield GPU bundle when I was upgrading my CPU, RAM and motherboard. I was tempted. Now, after seeing all the reviews, I'm happy I didn't :D
I hope I get to see Johanka again, and id love to see a flashback training montage with Bernard
Other than the intro/quests I don’t think we see anyone on a horse at all. I really hope they expand on npc-horse interaction and horsemanship in general. I would love to see more horse armor, more in depth horse care, perhaps some mounted knights
At 2:57 that looks like one of the entrances to Pribyslavitz, so i reckon baldy bad guy is somehow responsible for sacking pribyslavitz, killing everyone from the first game Henry welcomes to live there, and Henry goes on an adventure for revenge?
But thats definitely the entrance at pribyslavitz with the wall along the road and the Rathause being to the left and further up the hill
Quite possibly, but I am/was under the impression that the game doesn't take place in that area but Roxy mentioned two maps?
Bohemian Paradise with Trosky and Kutna hora map
I will bring down hell fire if he touches Biscuit Town
@@ThunderboltDragon I think perhaps the intro to the game is Henry carrying out his duties as bailiff, only for an army to attack, with him having to defend Hans and ultimately being defeated, then the game will probably take you to the new map
@@SexyBiscuit it being burned down and most if not all of Henry's friends being killed is the only way I can think why Theresa wouldn't be in the new game, same applies with his best mates Fritz and Matthew.
It'd be cool if for this new game they made DLCs starring you as a crazy guy who thinks the world isn't real and keeps calling Henry "Tom" 😂
I could really see really see Godwin making a comeback. We've seen him swing a sword, and I recall he mentioned he traveled a lot and fought in his youth. It'd be awesome to be in battle by his side.
Henry gets injured in Kuttenberg, is given opium which would have been available at the time and trips out and sees a rat which talks to him would be funny
"MA! MAa! I'm hurt! It won't stop bleeding!"
Some things I picked up:
- In that scene which is around 2:35 in this video - Isn't Henry wearing Hans' armour? That's odd. Don't know what that's about. In the next cut, it's clearly on Hans.
- Is the guy on the left of Markvart Von Aulitz Erik? Same armour. The face is different, but then again they may have updated the faces quite a lot. He also appears later in the trailer with Istvan, and he's punching Henry (I assume Henry, we see Henry hanging from his wrists right before a cut)
- Speaking of Istvan, I think we get to fight him with Pa's sword. We see a cut of Henry picking the sword up, then there's a cut of Istvan and blurrily in the background a person in yellow armor walks into view. Has to be Henry, right? (Edit: Oh this was in your screencaps, too!)
- Right before that scene where Henry picks up the sword, there's a scene in which Hans is fighting someone and shouting for Henry to get up. I think Henry's been knocked out and Hans is rescuing him.
- Henry takes a tumble off the cliff. Could this be after that? Maybe that's the way the game is going to roll back Henry's stats? Have him get knocked out and have to spend time healing?
- There's also a scene where Henry is in jail and Hans seems to be bailing him out. Not sure if that's regular gameplay, but it feels like it could be a specific plot point since I don't think Hans will be there to bail you out every time you go to jail? (Edit: This is in the screencaps, too)
- Hans also seems to be teaching Henry to swim. Or at least they're taking a bath, but I hope it's swimming lessons! I laughed out loud at Henry being scared the water will be too deep.
- Father Godwin is another character obviously making a return, and seems like quite prominently at that: He's in at least 4 scenes in the trailer, probably more. I'm slightly worried: In that scene where someone opens a castle door at night and gets shot full of arrows, that person has the same helmet, gambeson and coulters Father Godwin is wearing. I hope that's not Godwin!
- We are fighting Markvart Von Aulitz's troops in many places, it seems. There's a scene in which MVA is besieging Henry, Hans and Godwin, but then there's also that scene from some city streets where Henry is wielding an axe against a shielded guy, and they have MVA crests on their gear as well.
- Speaking of that street fighting scene: love to see more expressions on enemies' faces in combat! I do historical combat and we certainly shout quite a lot sometimes :D
- Speaking of historical combat: Hot damn the variations in the movesets have been upgraded. Absolutely love to see it! I hope they haven't dumbed down the combat or made it easier to master, but instead found a way to make it easier to access to start with.
- Henry obviously can get damn rich in KCD2! If you look at the scene where Henry is kissing the noble lady. Check out Henry's clothes - that fabric is gorgeous. And all those jeweled rings on the outside of his gloves. AND he has GLASS WINDOWS! :D
- I love the way the clothes have been updated as well. Some of the outfits look so, so nice. Colourful, stylish, comfortable. Funny how we dress way more drab today then people did in "the dark ages".
- That wedding looks awesome. Like a proper peasant summer wedding. And Henry gets to dance! Damn, can we hope for a dancing minigame? That would be so cool.
- So you can pet Pebbles - or Jenda or whoever your horse happens to be. But that had me thinking: could it be that Horsemanship will be a more involved skill? In KCD you could praise, feed and train your hound, but the horse was just an immortal magical being that never needed tending. Maybe now we could actually take care of our mounts?
- Looks like Blacksmithing will definately be a minigame. It's shown in 3rd and 1st person, though very briefly. I hope it will be - normally I hate crafting in games but it's because there's really no proper content to them.
- I think we will finally have it so helmet visors are open until you close them. You can see a combatant close their visor when you start fighting them, and Hans has several scenes with an open visor.
Actually looking at it again, I think Hans is in jail too, not bailing Henry out. Or something like it. If you look at Hans' body language, he's sort of shifting incredulously around, and the guard doesn't seem very deferent towards him either.
Absolutely amazing work from you!
But I think they also spoiled sir Toth dead. As you shown seems that Henry finally retrieve the sword and during the trailer you can hear sir toth say "you finally became a man...". Sounds like his last word before getting killed...
Fritz and Mathew will not appear cause in the first game you had the option to betray them and they got executed, so even if most players did not choose that option it is not fit for a full inmersion.
Pd: Father Godwyn was a former warrior and was well-trained, so it’s possible for him to take arms.
@@pol1656wait I just realised his name is Godwyn, as in God's Win.... I have been an idiot.
So he will certainly win in battle. For God.
I don't think everyone is aware that both the title and subtitle are references to the Lord's Prayer. "Thy *kingdom come*, thy will be done ... Lead us not into temptation, but *deliver* us from evil ..."
2:09 and 8:04 The knight in white armor is Erik, the partner of Sir Istvan Toth!
KCD2 Fact:
Sir Tobi said in the interview that they have placed "too many" NPCs in Kuttenberg. Or rather, too few beds for all the NPCs (not enough space).
That's why some NPCs have to leave the town at night and sleep in neighbouring villages.
But historically speaking, this would not be so unusual.
This means that the town will be very lively... at least during the day.
The success of Fallout adaptation makes me wonder.. what if we have live action Kingdom Come? The production team needs to involved not only Warhorse Studio, but also historians, HEMA community etc. Heck, we can cast Henry with Henry!
And dear Deutsch, pardon me SxyBiscuit, don`t forget about your dream from KCD, petting Mutt. I think will be possible in KCD II.
In the original reveal video, we can see Father Godwin in cardinal clothes at 4:55, talking to someone, who looks like older Henry. Also how come you did not notice Sir Tobi as archer at 2:29 of reveal video?
I believe that the part where someone gets injured takes place later, as Henry is wearing a different cuirass (he is wearing a brigandine in the beginning). I believe they will run into Istvan at Trosky, Henry will get a bit... well... rowdy... and thats gonna land both of them in jail at Trosky (we can see a prison guard donning the colours of the house of Bergov - white swallow on a red field)
I dont know if anybody noticed this already, but the guy in the middle at 2:40 is the same guy with the moustache we see with Henry, Hans and Godwin at 1:10 in the trailer. My guess is that you make an alliance with this group of mercenaries at the start of the game but later on something goes wrong and they turn on you and Hans and after they injure ir kill Hans Henry challenges the leader to a duel ( 1:04 in the trailer). My other more crazyer theory is that he is Jan Žižka, the hussite general, because he kinda looks like him and in this time period we dont really know what he was doing and where he was, only that he was a mercenary.
I still hope we also will get an opportunity to reunite with racek kobyla as he gets a new plot to build a new castle and witness henrys father’s tragic death in front of a tavern in 1416. As his mentor i could imagine this would be another emotional event for henry. What do you guys think?
looking forward to your kcd2 irl videos and the new google reviews that will be left! maybe some more interviews with the cast too?
I love your positivity and cheerful approach man. Never change! ☺👍
Am I the only one who is already thinking about the DLC's of KCD2?...
7:46 this is Thoth's assistant from the first part
3:20 bro's gotta show his enemies his best side.
Roxy, I've read on the KCD wikie that Father Gidwins robe only can be stolen when he is sleeping, have you tried it?
No!! 🤣 that’s amazing! I wonder if it would effect the cutscene
@@SexyBiscuit Then you know what do for you 60K sub anniversary stream (you've gone from 57K to 59.2K in a few days). Them algorithms really work in mysterious way.
After the trailer I went and saw a 3d virtual tour of Trotsky castle
I noticed some more
1. A new type of gauntlet (the full hand covering one, not articulated fingers)
2. The arena combat scene has a hungarian flag
The scene of Henry getting hung up and punched by that guy in white armor is a flashback to the first game I think. The guy in white armor punching Henry is Erik, Toth's second in command.
He wasn't punched by Erik in KCD1, the guy pummeling him was called Udo.
Visually is looks a lot more cohesive than KCD1. The woods, Towns and NPC's felt like they didn't quite belong in the same picture in the first game.
This reminds me visually of The Witcher 3 (best looking game still to this day) And I don't mean graphical fidelity or anything like that just the style and consistency of it.
I think the reason they kept “Deliverance” was because this is the game they intended to make initially, so this story was Deliverance pt.2.
I don't think everyone is aware that both the title and subtitle are references to the Lord's Prayer. "Thy *kingdom come*, thy will be done ... Lead us not into temptation, but *deliver* us from evil ..."
Damn those graphics look so good. Excited is an understatement
The man punching Henry and standing behind Markvart could be Eric as both wears the same white armor. Possibly a different actor this time
I hope Radzig is in this one somehow. He could find some reason to come to Kutenberg.
I also hope Hans doesn't die. He did die young but not for another decade or so.... They should substitute Henry for one of the Knights who raised Jan's kids irl...
Might be they use the same title for the same story. Deliverance is the one about Bohemia. Mayhaps if they do a War of the Roses one they'll call it Kingdom Come: Roses or whatever.
Just a speculation but in 13:46 isn't the helmet guy might be the same person shown here in 2:40 and 3:20 based from the white waffenrock the guy is wearing? And the guy pouncing Henry here in 7:53 might be Udo, the same guy torturing him from the first game.
I think that roxy should voice your assistant to build a new biscuit town.
The flag in the tournament is a Hungarian flag
If this game gets release and turns out to be a masterpiece. U will get lots of views for sure
Great rundown, Roxy
I also agree that the game should’ve had a different subtitle, Kingdom Come Retribution wouldn’t be bad. Another good side to that would be making the game more approachable to a new audience since they specified they’ve made it so people who haven’t played the original can get into it.
14:44 I believe this is a tutorial on fighting multiple enemies at once, rather than a tournament.
Two guys on 10:52 are creators Viktor Bocan and Ondřej Bittner, imho.
I think that first shot of a town is rebuilt Skallitz. He is saying he wanted to be away from there. Maybe with Radzig they rebuilt it?
That would break their idea of keeping it historically accurate. In real life Stříbrná Skalice was never rebuilt after being sacked.
Why do I feel that Roxy keeps skipping the screenshot of Tom and Luke shirtless because he has it as his new desktop background?
@16:24 - is that Maisie whatsherface from Game of Thrones?
Wait... you get Brian Blessed sending you random messages and such!?!! Lucky!
I hope some of the choises made in the first one carries over into the secon game like in Mass Effect.
When I see "The sword" mentioned about 4 minutes in I can't help but think "Turn Undead"
Father Godwin has been officially confirmed.
2:50 All I noticed there is the guy on the left having a magical floating mace on his side.
I think that the bare chested torture image is from the first game and "Putin" is Eric. The"granddad" is confirmed by one of the developers to be Father Godwin. 😊
By the way, Roxy, what is your favourite easter egg in KCD 1?
This is the first time I actually have to put "1" there
14:38 here it seems like herry is in a Hungarian camp because that's a Hungarian flag in the background
