    For those who wanna practice:
Take 5 moments a day "the reminders" in which you think, say, imagine it. So, you cut the tomato, you think that the tomato is you. You see the tree, you are the tree, you walk outside, you are the sky, the sky is you, etc. Though still intellectual, this will help integrate the idea, in you, in your meditation. Then, in your awakening moments, in your taste of Truth it gets "easier" to comprehend that you are the whole. Good luck! From me, which is you.

When I did psychedelics a while ago, I had a thought expiriment (thought about it a few times but on psychs it made me 'feel' the most).
Think of this. You are you, and you came into the world the moment your mother gave birth to you. But did you really only exist from at that moment? No, obviously you came into existence when your father and mother convieved you by merging of their 2 cells. But then. Doesnt that mean that you existed even before you were born? Because you didnt just suddenly exist. The things that made you, the things that literally *_are_* you, already existed. Your parents already contained you in them. But then we might as well say that the moment your parents were concieved, you started to exist. But that would mean that the moment their parents existed you also existed.
You existed the moment the first human ever existed. But thats not true either. When the first dinosaur existed, the first fish, the first multicellular organism, when the first cell ever existed, you existed with them. You may live only a few decades. But you have existed since life exists. And I find that a pretty cool thought.
One can even say that we all existed even before life. Life had to emerge from the lifeless. The big bang set in motion a chain of events, creating matter, forming galaxies. forming planets and the earth. Eventually that chain of events created life, and you and me. Does this mean the big-bang contained information, an accidental, random, maybe intended blue print to create us? I dont think we will ever know.

Not sure why my posts get tossed. Alan Watts was a true genius. He changed my life a long time ago. I was so unprepared for life due to no father, incompetent mother and zero coach or teacher mentors. They never cared or explained anything. I was so stupid, I thought my anxiety was just me being a punk coward. Lived in shame and buried it. Then, substance abuse to mask the anxiety heart attacks. Stayed that way, until the Internet came in the 90's because the only adult that taught me anything useful was my MA instructor. If not for archive folks like Alan Watts and George Carlin, I wouldn't be around anymore breathing. Thank you Alan! Love your artwork here After Skool.

In my opinion Alan Watts is too often judged upon personal circumstances of his life. That shouldn't take away from the brilliance of his philosophy. Sometimes being a deep introspective thinker has its downsides. The phrase ignorance is bliss is very true. When you make it your life purpose to ponder deep philosophical questions about consciousness and the nature of reality then you are inadvertently opening yourself up to deep existential anxieties too. Nietzsche went insane trying to understand the human experience. I guess the secret is to try not to get lost in content and try to focus on being mindful and living in the moment

@@andybrown3016 Listen, the beauty about the human life is that everyone has a different story to tell. It would be a shame if people followed the exact same rope of a different individual. Life is out there for humans to experience and grab but over the years we have become slowly enslaved to technology which is not a living being. Life can't be experienced through soullessness. But indeed we have come to a stage where our soul is completely stripped.
Alan Watts speaks from the soul. And your soul is your experiences/what you make out of life.

This is a fine prescription for alienation, when people don't feel a part of anything.

I'm really amazed about how exactly this video mirrors my own insights. So I wanna thank you for all the work you've done to gift us with this colourful video and it's quintessenz of what's fundamental in this world. There's only one being, one moment, one piece. That's why monism is the core of all forces. All dynamic forces, all phenomena beyond this core are nothing but results of observation.
I want to add, it's crucial not to only "know" and "understand" the content of the video, but to become the entity being informed by the whole being itself. An inevitable precondition is to stop thinking, to stop being judgemental and to also stop aiming for these goals ;-). "When you arrive at non-action, nothing will be left undone." Buddha said once and it had taken me years to really understand it completely. I know, the whole being is one flawless entity and I'm nothing but an inseparable part of it. The dualism of joy and pain, desire and fear have been necessities to create the consciousness we have. But it also dissociated us from unity. Now it's the next step to get rid of old habits, to return into the pristine unity of everything. This time in a state of consciousness. That's the huge present life offers, to become aware of how the world and oneself is constructed. Not by only knowing it but by being it.

This is so eye opening. I never really thought about our own bodies and bodily components being connected to the universe as something that is "happening", something that goes on continuously without our own awareness. This movement of our own bodies being the same of a tree growing, or a bird flying, or even the Sun and Moon rotating around the Earth. It's incredible when you think about it like that, because it shows just how awesome the world is and that there really is a "God", because just how else would there be any movement and continuous action happening ever single second of existence?
