    glycimic index might be same in millets and rice but what about slow release of carbs in the body which happens due to eating millets because of fiber in millets and sudden spike of sugars/carbs which happens due to eating of white rice , which makes the whole difference

      yes there is no sudden spike ...so here we are controlling diabetics for few years but in long term ...it will create issues in gut...which leads to new auto immune diseases ....I always prefer carbs from anti inflammatory foods like vegetables and seasonal local small fruits. And always soak, ferment and germinate grains before eating.

      @@jeeth18 Millets are lectin free, so people having gut issues with gluten , moving towards millets , but millets are high in goitrogens which will imbalance thyroid function then it becomes hard to heal gut and leads to leaky gut, gut heals every night...can completely heal in 2-3 days if we eat right. My point in this video is don't make millets as a staple food to control diabetics because it works few years only ...there is a good way to reverse(Not controlling) diabetics .

      Are you on diabetic or any other medication?
      5.4 HbA1c is good control for people above 25 years of age without the medication.
      Check HbA1C levels every 121 or 120 days periodically for the next 2 years.
      If it's below 5.7 for such long periods than you are safe .
      Understand your food .

      Glucose is an energy molecule and Insulin is a hormone.
      Glucose is a energy molecule released from Small Intestines into the Portal Vein and into the circulatory system after undergoing more than 108 bio chemical reactions and activities.
      Our small intestine make glucose no matter what you eat except for water.
      On the positive feedback mechanism the Beta Cells in the pancreas secrete a hormone called as Insulin.
      Insulin controls and stabilises the blood glucose in the circulatory system and keeps the blood glucose in the normal range .

    Millets is not the food for only diseased but for the most healthiest person.
    On the contrary healthy people who are eating Rice , Wheat , Milk , Sugar and Non vegetarian foods will fall ill and will also have non communicable diseases sooner or later.

      Most of the nutritionists are suggesting these three millets to be included in Idli dosa and chapathi. We are really confused about what to eat and what not to.we South Indians mostly have these two food in our daily life.They are insisting that normal Idli rava is nothing but rice.we can’t include more carbs in our daily life.S

      For people below the age of 25 years the HbA1c should be below 5.
      Eat only five positive millets for first six months and later also eat Ragi, Jwhar and Bajra .
      Avoid Milk , Sugar, Rice , Wheat, Maida , Jaggery, Honey and Non vegetarian foods completely.

      Cabbage juice is very bad. All juices are bad for that matter even if they are 100 percent organic.
      Eat cabbage after proper cooking.
      Eat raw cabbage only if it's from your garden or farm where you are sure about zero pesticides, fungicides, insecticide, herbicide and other chemical inputs.

      The word Insulin resistance is poorly used by the medical fraternity.
      Every cell in our body doesn't require insulin to absorb glucose.
      Brain cells are the perfect example. Brain cells don't are independent and they don't use insulin to burn Glucose.
      Insulin Resistance is yet to be understood by the modern medical fraternity.
      Currently insulin resistance is understood as High Glucose levels in the circulatory system despite having high insulin levels.
      That's why millets take care of the glucose imbalance as they don't spike glucose into the circulatory system.

    He said correct example neney... you are correct brother.. daily ate brown rice since 3 years vitamins and minerals deficiency occur.
