Brett thanks for the straightforward answer to my question before I purchased one. I really wish that those bars weren't there and there was a clear open space to roll around a transmission jack or on a creeper with no obstructions.
That's cool Brett, I too do all or most of my vehicle maintenance and this would be awesome. Good troubleshooting on the power issue. I'm still doing videos but been busy with other projects too but have a couple of new ones soon. Tim
Would definitely be interested in a couple month review on this lift. Was thinking about getting this exact lift but can’t find any in-depth videos/reviews.
Nice video. Just purchased a TwinBusch Lift TW-S3-10 capable of 6600 lbs. I know you stated that this equipment needs to be on a dedicated circuit. But can you tell me what size circuit breaker you have this equipment on?
Hey Buck! I recently installed my twin lift and it’s not working. The electric is working but as soon as I try to lift it up, it does not move an inch. Is there any saftey lock that prevents me from lifting it up. Also, the lift is like a quarter of an inch up in the air and not fully down on the ground. Do have any tips?
I am seriously considering this lift. I also have a steep downward graded driveway, so I’m going to have to deal with that. I’m thinking on having it delivered to a terminal that is about 1/2 hr away and bringing it home on a trailer, then using my engine hoist, or dollies to take it off. How is this lift working out for you. Any problems so far? Wondering if this is available in a 240 volt version. Instead of running a new 30 amp circuit I could just use my electric dryer outlet, which I currently am not using.
I dont regret the purchase or going with twin Bucsh at all. I did have a issue it wouldn't go up but it was self induced, I got a chunk of garbage stuck in the limit switch. The people at twin Busch walked me through troubleshooting until I got it figured out. I'm not sure of the 220 option but I would do the same thing if it was an option. Honestly I use it for all kinds of stuff other than cars. We used it to lift a picnic table to make the painting easier we were doing to it. Have porch gliders on it for paint right now. My side by side and mower fit on it... etc. Best purchase I have made in a long time. I think you may be better off getting it on a trailer if you have a steep drive. It's also cheaper to do it that way.
It honestly is the best purchase I have made in a long time. I have been buying salvage cars and rebuilding them so in my eyes it has paid for itself. It is the perfect height for low celing garages like mine. Thanks for the sub, I appreciate it
Hi Brett, I'm interested in getting one of these. How is the underclearance at max height when you do work underneath? Enough room to travel back and forth on a chair stool? Max height is 40"?
Not really. I usually have used a creeper to work underneath. I'm 5'9" and it puts the wheels and brakes of standard cars at about the middle of my chest. I changed a transmission on a Ford explorer in December and it was a life saver. I'm really happy with it. I honestly use it for everything.
@@bucksgarage1You still laid on your back and rolled around? Or able to "sit" on the creeper? Thanks for the info! Did shipping takes a long time? You had liftgate service ordered?
@@bucksgarage1 Hi Brett! One more question. Does the two platforms take up a lot of space underneath? Do you have access to pretty much everything in the middle section when lifted up?
Brett Buckley that is the exact left I have been interested in for a while and seems to be a very good quality live. Annie issues or concerns with it since it was deliveredAlso I was curious if there was anything new more beneficial about the live that you weren’t aware of before? Thanks for the video
I'm really happy with it. I have done a ton of work on cars in the last month since I got it, the cars I fixed in the last month honestly paid for the lift. I have changed brakes on 2 cars, a caliper, 2 wheel cylinders, 2 brake lines, removed - rebuilt and reinstalled transmission. I practically use it for everything I do in the garage now. It is worth every cent in my opinion. The only issue I have/had with is was the power that it takes to operate the pump.
Brett Buckley nice. The one issue u mentioned was resolved by the new hardwire u completed in this video I believe? Man wish $1899 included shipping. That would be choice. Thanks again
@@bucksgarage1 Yeah, but they are categorized as low, half and high rise. Twin Busch just calls their product a low lift but actually it is a mid rise lift. Peace ✌️
Its refreshing to hear someone acknowledge the Ad revenue and proceeds and to thank the viewers. I like you already :)

Thank for sharing !! I’m looking into getting one of these bad boy
I'm really happy with it. It has seriously saved me thousands.
That thing is sweet I want one now! Makes working on stuff so much more enjoyable! Thanks for the shout out I think lol

i think they just recently came out with low profile matching paint ramps. $400 bucks though.
Bro when I sad twin Bush, I lost it 😂😂😂😂

Not sure about the 1/4 inch up but I did have a problem with a safety. Hopefully this will help you out. ua-cam.com/video/CCS3igeQzYQ/v-deo.html
Did you ever lift a truck with this lift? Like a Ram 1500, ford f150 etc...
Not yet. The biggest thing I have lifted is a 03 explorer. It does fine with that.

Brett, question for you about this lift. I just bought the same one. How do you slow down drop speed? Seems to really slam the ground.
I dont think there is a way too. Mine drops pretty fast the last 10 inches or so.
Check out this video for changing lowering speed. ua-cam.com/video/46iwAZqq384/v-deo.html
Does the lift go up straight or it tilts/leans forward as it goes up? Like Ranger QuickJack.
Straight up. The car remains level the whole lift.
Hey thanks for the video’s, how’s the lift doing. Thinking about buying one .i subscribed !!

Yes its just not quite tall enough to be comfortable sitting up under it. I think it took 8 days to ship and the lift gate was worth it for me.
@@bucksgarage1 Hi Brett! One more question. Does the two platforms take up a lot of space underneath? Do you have access to pretty much everything in the middle section when lifted up?
@@nampham8101 yes you could easily change an exhaust, transmission, probably a fuel tank.
What's the heaviest vehicle you have put on the lift?
2009 F150. It struggled to lift it but it did.
At Max height or on a small car, are you able to roll around on a stool/chair?
I can sit and work on brakes or anything around the wheels. Under the car I typically take a knee or creeper. It has been worth every penny.
Theres also a lot of " I don't " words in this video.
Is there a way to turn the beeping sound off when coming down?
If you take the front cover off I beleive you can take the wire off of the beeper.

Yes that did fix it. It would be nice if the shipping was included. It's worth it though. I'm real pleased.
It's called "mid lift" the "low lift" will get only the wheels of the ground.
Nope. You are wrong. Link below. www.twinbusch.com/product_info.php?products_id=8
