Trabalho com aviões, e os maciços ainda são tudo de bombeamento manual a 80 anos , e não incomodam , uma bomba hidráulica com uma valvula direcional funciona bem nestes elevadores muita eletronica não necessária.
My s-19 lift has never lifted a car. My scissor lift was stuck on it and I had to use my tractor to get it off. Dan has helped, but it still won’t reliably lift anything other than a piece of paper. I can’t afford to get a car stuck on it. The motor trieds to run, but 50 percent of the time it won’t actually run. We have messed with the pressure and still need to check the motor capacitors. I have a 20 amp dedicated circuit. At this point I am not sure if ever trust it unless I had a backup hand pump in the event it gets stuck on the locks .
I’ve had my lift for one day and have this exact problem. Hopefully it fixes itself by tomorrow morning 😅
Hi Brett, limit switches can cause havoc. Before I retired in 2016 I was the lead for the 747 landing gear installation crew. Our machines for loading the gear under the airplane had multiple limit switches. It was huge and ran off a series of 12v batteries. The maintenance guys were always working on them. We needed at least 2 working so we had a spare
I never even thought of it. They will be the first thing I look at in the future
The clear thing You point at It’s not a relay it’s it’s timer and the problem %100 limit switch
Trabalho com avioes os lifts sao bombas hidraulicas manuais , com trava com porca rosqueada na haste para travar o cilindro hidraulico super seguro e super simples vou construir um usando tudo hidraulico .
I had a similar problem on mine. Also after about 6 months of use, one day it started tripping the breaker every time I tried to lift it...even with no load. It was like the lift never actually even started the motor...just tripped the breaker instantly. I let it sit for a few days while I investigated possible problems and when I tried it again it worked perfect. It still does this on occasion and I still don't know why.
Sound like a good lift, but buyer be aware Currently as of June 10, 2024, there is NO customer support here in the United States. If your lift go down, NO support. If you know of where you can get spare parts like the DOWN button (Y090-11BN), please let me know.
Thanks
Steve
I'm sorry you couldn't diagnose your problem with a meter or just observing the set up . Please be safe when operating the lift asp around your family
my lift 90% of problems are limit switch and its connectors, there is one time the power swtich was shot. during one of testings, one relay burned
great vid Brett thanks for your trouble shooting problems. Do you recommend changing the hydraulic fluid every year?
I wouldn't think fluid change would be necessary unless its kept outside
Nice lift! Are you able to work underneath your car without those bars getting in the way?
I changed a transmission with it and the bars were kind of a pain in the ass but I was still able to get it done. It was far easier than not having the lift.
@@bucksgarage1 Great! Thanks for giving me a great assessment of that lift,
@@bucksgarage1 acho que as barras não são problema pois pode fazer um carrinho com rodas maiores que entre no vão do elevador descendo a transmissão sobre ele .😊
So it works okay now Brett?
Would you mind letting us know where you purchased from and if you could do it all over again, would you buy a Twin Busch lift?
Yep i would buy it again. Real happy with it. I bought it straight from the twin busch website.
Hello. my deck just assembled, goes up but does not go down. what can it be?
There is a electric magnet that releases the valve. It's on the back near the the pump. Make sure it's on correct. When mine came it wasnt installed.
I’ve installed mine. I am tryin to lift a Mercedes class V 300 given to be less than 3 tons, mine weighs in on a truck station at 2.6 tones and the lift doesn’t have the power to lift. If it is given for 3 tons it should lift 3 tons. At least
I agree. I had trouble with mine as well. What I figured out is it was a power supply issue. The voltage drop from source to lift had too much drop. I hooked up my generator with plenty of power behind it and I can lift a much heavier vehicle. I now have a dedicated 10-2 wire from the breaker box direct to the lift. I don't see nearly the voltage drop when in use now.
@@bucksgarage1 it shouldn’t be that. I have a dedicated breaker with 20 amps and 400v. I am trying to figure out if I don’t have air in my hydraulic circuit. Any way to purge it ?
@@marcducati not sure on how to purge the air. Call twin busch they had some suggestions for me to try when I was having issues.
@@bucksgarage1 that’s what I was going to do next. Still one or two things to try before 😋
@@bucksgarage1 found what the issue was. The overflow valve is actually an over pressure valve. The one next to the décent regulation valve. It is normally set from factory but mine was not set correctly. I untightened the counter nut and closed it 2 turns and now it lifts my V classe with ease. Thought this might help.
why u email them them they should be able to be contacted by phone
I could have called them but I prefer email. That way I could reference the email if this continued
All those switches and relays are made in China, even though it says Germany on the panel, it does not say "Made in Germany". That whole system is overly complicated with too many places for failure- the other simple ones which simply have one switch to operate the hydraulic pump and a simple safety lock mechanism are far better designs.
Thanks. Problem fixed! I have nearly the exact same lift. I think mine is about 7 or 8 years old and from a different Chinese vender but nevertheless its basically the same. I had the same problem as you. Mine worked fine 4 days ago, now all of a sudden it won't go up. I checked the wires, switches, plug and fuses. All were good. Then your video gave me the idea to "Push the Contractor Switch to bypass the main switch just long enough to raise the lift and check the limit switch." That was the problem. The limit switch itself was fine but somehow it was unplugged. Works great now. Thanks.
