"How could you... Roxas..." This line becomes incredible sad if you have played 358/2 Days and read the manga Luxord had been getting along with Roxas quite nicely and liked him. Now he feels betrayed
I don't remember Luxord really developing a friendly relationship with Roxas in the game (I think Luxord and Roxas share maybe 3 missions where they actually CONVERSATE, the whole game. And I think they're all in fucking Wonderland), but it was very nice seeing them being friendly in the manga.
Luxord was always my favourite Organisation member despite his low screen time. His power is interesting, and he is actually quite a nice guy sometimes to Roxas in 358/2 Days.
@@roopereimi1718 Yeah but Axel would still need to kill him because he couldn't come home with survivors after killing several organization members, including zexion who apparently wasn't part of the coup if I recall. Like if he survived and wasn't part of the coup he would be able to essentially fuck Axel over, and that's why he couldn't have survived.
I actually enjoyed this battle the most out of any Organization XIII battle tbh. I didn't even attack Luxord at all until he had ran out of time and I was barely behind by a slim margin. Instead, I found myself actually playing his game and trying to beat him at it. I wish he had much more screen time and actually had more character development. Glad to see he's in KH3 tho
Luxord. The immediate sign that he isn't your bottom of the barrel enemy you face who you beat by beating the stuffing out of him shows itself in how he changes the mechanics of his own fight, and instead of you depleting his Health, you're depleting his time. You cannot necessarily beat him by the traditional means you are familiar with, or how you've conducted most of your boss encounters prior to and long after this, and even when you've beaten him in a cutscene, you feel like it was a hollow victory that doesn't even make you feel bad. And he keeps more than a few cards close to his chest just as much as Xigbar did.
Tbf, his boss battle does change the rules somewhat but it does still boil down to: beat the shit out of the guy, you just have to be a bit more strategic about it
BraviNoname I’d like to think of it like this: 13th Dilemma: Donald & Goofy are there 13th Struggle: Only you and the boss. No assistance, no distractions.
When I first saw his final gambit attack, I thought it was gonna be an insta-kill if you screwed it up, what with the huge cards. It was almost disappointing to find out that he just turns you into a dice again.
Trying to make a meme out of this. Imagine Luxord in a black-jack casino dealer outfit seated on a throne. Now place the words, in Nobody text, "I'd rather we just" above him and "skip the formalities" below him. What do you think?
For some reason flipping the Time Card it decreases Luxord time gauge and the Begin Game RC it just increases Sora time gauge i thought the Time Card decreases Sora's time gauge till i tried it
I completed this fight with absolutely no damage, and won every one of the challenges that he offers when he says "A challenge is it?", and his "Look who's on top of the game!".
There's exactly one thing about Luxord that ticks me off... It's the way he's always described. See, in 358/2 Days, he is described as having power over time in some fashion, which I guess makes sense. All his battles are time-based. However... That couldn't be any farther from the truth. He doesn't utilize time, he *bends reality* . Why do I say this? Firstly, let's look at his weapon of choice; cards. He can expand them however much he so desires, to the size of large blades. Secondly, and here's the big one that I think the people over at Square kinda flubbed up on, is the fact that if Sora fucks up, what happens? He isn't just stopped in time, or sent backwards a little... He's TRANSFORMED. His very being is reshaped into something else, like a die or a card. That right there is peak reality bending!!!
You need to make all of the menu options "O" by selecting them when it shows. This will deal some damage to Luxord and give you an opening for a combo.

"I am not Roxas"
Well, I don't read Manga, or even played 358/2 Days on the DS, so I thought he was just one of the Organization members I have to beat.
@@cliffturbo2146 Okay...thanks for...adding literally nothing to the conversation, I guess.

Its quite ironic, the suffix 'lux' actually means light, which is probably why

Funnily he’s also Nomura’s favorite
Well here u go with ReMind. The next side/main game will contain a bit more of Luxord i guess... :D

This guy should have been in Chain of Memories

very creative boss fight and instead of finding it challenging I was actually enjoying myself. fun fight
Bumble Bee I like Luxord. I think he's cool. Not my favorite organization member, but I do quite like him.
Bumble Bee I did 2
I liked the challenge of the battle personally. I managed to get all 4 O commands.

@f3ver_dr3am96 indeed and Luxord is one of the cool rare intriguing characters I ever met especially playing 358 DAYS
@@roleemack1535is sora 😡
Quick and to the point
I wonder how much money would Luxord win at the casino.
Probably millions if you think about it.
I'm curious as to how broken he would be at a Tabletop Game, both as a player and a DM.
Well, he can control time, which makes Dream Drop Distance more confusing

He activated Sora's trap card.
I get the yugioh reference
I actually laughed too hard at this.
I miss how Sora wielded his Keyblade in KH2 vs KH3. He seemed much more confident and flourished a lot more.
Luxord is still one of my favorite characters to be voiced by Robin Atkin Downes!
is it just me or Luxord is my favorite organization 13 member to fight
But it nice to see something different for a change then just button mashing

He would be cooler if he could cast FF time-based magic like Haste, Slow or Stop.
