I watch another UA-camr with chronic migraines, Taylor Wynn, and I have such admiration for her as well. I have auto immune and medical issues, but seeing your determination to persevere just inspires me on many levels. Thanks for doing this!

That was so interesting Karen, I was just confused about the advertising, I always thought that if we watched the ad all the way through you got paid instead of skipping but is it only if we click on the video? It is such a lot of work for the money you earn but I’m glad you do it because I always enjoy them and I can see why it would be a good thing for you to do while you have migraines. Does Watson go to daycare everyday? That seemed a lot of money for daycare unless it was everyday. Keep going Karen I love your channels. 😊
It really is confusing! Yes, we only get paid for clicks I'm afraid, clicks on the advert (not my video). It does help if you watch the whole video as it pushes it up the ratings so more people will see the video therefore possibly more clicks. No, Watson goes full days twice and then 1 walk on the other 3 days. Its expensive nowadays. Thanks so much Gill. xx
I didn't see your video you did a year ago about this, but did you talk about having to claim for gifts from companies? Because other UA-camrs have mentioned it recently, and I wondered if something changed with what a UA-camr has to claim, or if the UA-camr is just getting more popular and getting on more lists with companies and then learning the downside?
I'm happy it works for you though with your lifestyle and health. Being self employed has many excellent aspects but has things to keep track of carefully.
Hey to bad we don't live in the same area because I keep thinking about what it would be like to have a 'coffee shop/doggie daycare', and you seem like someone that would love guiding the dog aspects. All animals are therapy and joy, but dogs just visually show us to love life.
I didn't talk about it in my video 2 years ago as I didn't know it then. For me, I happen to have been sent a couple of big things during the year so wanted to check that I was following the law. I think its becoming more known that we have to record it as income. xx

It's so mysterious isn't it?
The more watch time we get i.e. if you watch the whole video vs just a few minutes, the higher up the You Tube algorithm your video goes. So it means more people will see the video therefore more chance of more clicks. x

Would it be worth employing someone to do the editing and all the prep ? If That’s the part That hard in your Heath it might main you could film more and make more £ in the long term

I'm only doing emails just now due to migraines and it can take me a while to reply but I'm happy to help if I can - send me an email to Karen_maitland@hotmail.com telling me everything you possibly can - age, size, likes & dislikes of dog i.e food motivated, exactly who lives in the house and how often you leave them and where they stay when left. Be aware, if I'm about to get told that they are left for more than 6 hours at a time, or if they are a puppy and being left for more than a few hours, I don't agree with that so it's difficult to help. You could have lyme disease and that is causing your migranies or you could be have a gluten attack. You could be gluten sensitive.
I have been tested for gluten intolerance and thankfully it was negative. I have never had a tick bite so its unlikely to be Lyme. x
@@TheBeautyMaverick I never had or thought I never had a tick bite either, but that is a myth. Lyme can also come from a mosquitoe and several other bugs. Check your insulin too.
