Our Alpine Doe Gives Birth!

- We had the gift of witnessing our Alpine doe give birth to two beautiful kids. This was her first time giving birth and our first time witnessing birth. What a joy to be in the presence of such magic! We have a small farm, where we are with our animals throughout the day. Our animals are used to us being around. Because of this, we wanted to be present for the birth, as long as Penny seemed comfortable with us being there. Our approach was one of trusting the birth process and mother's instinct. Penny birthed & is mothering so beautifully. What a joy!

I live in Australia in the bush and half about an acre and grow my own veggies .. live off tank water and my son and I live as cleanly as we can and he is Vegan and I am vego ...
