I just visited your store and was reading the encouraging words on the decals and they reminded me of my Grandparents. Both passed away battling different diseases but the did with a laugh. My grandmother had a very lengthy battle with emphysema. Even in embarrassing situations she was determined to be a lady in any situations
Hi Mary I have just come off of intro muscular injections of antibiotics after 3 days of IV antibiotics and I completely get that weird feeling, it is only just going. Hope you start to feel better soon! Sending love from the uk, x

I am with you on the feeling wierd thing. I am on oral antibiotics and was having a similar thing go on today. Hang in there! I hope you were feeling less of the side effects today!
I have been on vacation with my family and turned to youtube to catch up on The Frey Life. My 15yo who doesn't watch heard the Frey music and came running over asking how Mary is doing. She was sad to hear that you aren't feeling so well, we all are, but I thought it was so sweet of her. Well, back to catching up!
Love you guys!!! I hope so hard that Mary gets some relief from her troubling symptoms. I have a chronic illness (Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome), but I can't even imagine dealing with CF. I'm thinking of you often, Mary and Peter!

I'm a chemistry grad student, working on a project involving ion channels, and naturally got to reading about CFTR. Now I'm just absolutely fascinated with it. I'm on sort of an unrelated project (that I am also very passionate about), that wouldn't allow me to explore CF/CFTR very much, but I think it would be something really cool to do in the future!

You might be having a reaction to your meds. Call the pharmacy and explain how your feeling. Make sure the amount your taking is correct and make sure your drinking enough water with it and that its not interacting with anything your taking. Make sure you drink water not juice with it. the pharmacy should know what supplements and meds interact with what your taking and can alert you to foods that might also.

When you felt confused it could be from the meds if you haven't eaten enough or drank enough water or it might have been my blood sugar. I hope the side effects get less. Love you guys,
Mary- I came down with strep throat on top of fighting off a bad sinus infection last week~ so I feel for you on the "feeling weird" thing. They gave me one BIG dose of steroids and I have bad anxiety so I'm super nervous to take the meds in the AM! Please say a prayer for me- I'm so nervous. However- no matter how sick I am I am thankful to God above for blessing me with an amazing LOYAL and loving boyfriend who came and brought me my script and got me some drinks and cough drops and such- so I'm thankful to at least have a caring man (and my mom as well). We are all OVERCOMERS right? "and this too shall pass". Mary- you feel better my love :). Sorry you're feeling weird :(. No fun. Love you so much and GodBless xoxoxo

Any chance the oral antibiotic and the study drug could be interacting and causing the weird feeling? It occurred to me because you said you've never experienced the confusion before. Most nights I don't cough through the night...however on the nights where I do cough, my body is pretty used to it, so I just keep sleeping...although I doubt it's restful sleep.
Could the confusion be due to low sugar?

Is the antibiotic "Levequin" or its derivative? I know when I take it, I get loopy and dizzy. The drug has quinine in it and that causes fogginess of the brain.
How do you make the choice to go back to the hospital? Home seems to be the same for you and I and they want me to go back to rehab. I do wound care for wounds and its a back and forth battle. Right now i'm on a downward dip and my doctors say go back to rehab but its hard because it isn't much different than home to me.

Hey Mary! I had a friend with CF, but I moved and we lost touch. However, she always had a "raspy" quality to her voice. I just thought that was how she sounded, but I noticed you have a raspy voice too, which made me wonder...is that coincidental, or is that a side effect of CF?
Steroids like Prednisone make feel so confused and out of it. I hope you are feeling better soon.
I'm curious If Mary gets admitted is she removed from the study?
From what they said in a previous video (I can't remember which one), I think she wouldn't be able to get to the study appointments. So it wouldn't be because she was admitted, but because she wouldn't be able to make the appointments.

You guys are so inspiring that I have gotten sucked into the rabbit hole also. I had the amazing opportunity to work at a shrines hospital in St. Louis. They specialize in orthopedics and this rotationplasty was one of the surgeries performed there. using an ankle for a knee who would have thought that would be possible? Truly gifted doctors, nurses and other staff and its absolutely FREE. Free surgery and P T, and aftercare. This is truly God's work. I am glad you guys found each other and are reaching out to others. I LOVE YOUR LOVE!!!
When you say you feel weird how .?. Bc I have cf and I always feel like I have a flu ❣
Flu like symptoms are common for Cf patients, low grade temps, coughing...etc. The weird feeling I am having is a side effect from medications...it makes me feel like I can't think quickly, and I feel confused and disoriented.
Has anyone ever noticed that Peter has extreme vocal fry?
