Have literally never stopped using this gun since it first dropped during the vanilla era. Through all of its changes and the sandbox around it, it’s always been just what I want from the game. As a Halo player I love primary battles, enjoy 1v1s and am confident I’ll win them. This gun allows me to win a 1v1 and take on the next 1v1 without being at a disadvantage, it’s the ultimate aggressor for that playstyle. Have most of the guns in the game with great rolls, but never put this one away. Prob my favorite gun next to Halo 2’s battle rifle.
It’s always been the very much uphill battle of getting into favorable ranges, whether it be the routes, disengagements, etc. But you’re so right, it’s a much bigger hill to climb now after the sandbox change. Let’s hope we get some more range.
I have 15,000 pvp kills with this weapon, and it’s been my go to for any PvP related stuff. Yet in this current sandbox it’s been pretty difficult to do anything with it tbh, so I’ve had to switch to other things just to even stand a chance at the amount of instant death and damage resist abilities people are throwing lol
I still slay with it..... from time to time.... esp on small map when people hold hands. I do admit its a little harder to dual with it since the flinch nerf.
man I hope we get a crimson rework soon. RDR is so good just by virtue of having solar synergies, but OG Crimson coukd totes use some love to bring it up to par.
As a Crimson main, it is best used on Strand with Thread of Ascent, or a class item with Ophidians on it via Prismatic (add Solitide!!) With double targeting, it is an absolute monster.
Crimson makes me wonder why all handcannons have iron-sight red dots rather than a genuine red dot type of scope for more visibility. Imagine a Suros scope on crimson. Wide open and clear view
@@kronked6334 what I’m picturing is more like the sight on a suros auto rifle or even a slug shotgun. Not necessarily a full on scope like eriana’s (which is disgustingly low visibility and high recoil). It would be a much better version of what they have despite their recoil patterns
Crimson is the gun that hard carried me to the first and only Ascendant that I’ve reached. During the season of the Seraph meta on console, Crimson did a phenomenal job at just winning duels since players aren’t able to disengage easily on controller.
Hey Cammy, I noticed in most of your recent hunter gameplays you've been using blink as your jump of choice on Prismatic, and I'd love to see a video/anything regarding your thoughts on how blink works better than pure arc on hunter, as well as how hunter blink differs from warlock blink in strength given warlocks can access Astrocyte Verse. I'm also curious about the implications of blink + grapple at high levels of play, is it just a gimmick or is it the next step in movement mastery and ankle breaking? Crimson rework to synergize with overshield builds would be nice. Like instead of hp it's something like "gain shield for every full burst hit" stuff like that. 2 exotics that are the same thing but one is better makes the first obsolete.
I perform better with other weapons, but man I LOVE crimson, going on a streak with this gun is so satisfying, it just feels relatively unique as a hand cannon
I get this as well, and I've been playing on mnk for YEARS. I've only recently been able to use them somewhat effectively, and only really juiced ones like a well rolled shayura or my personal favorite, submission
It's wild to me that kvostov needs to be nerfed cuz it has super good stability but conditional finality is totally fine with the most consistent 1hk in the game to the point 99% of players don't follow up melee because they KNOW it got the kill every time only shot gun in the game you don't see follow up melee even chaperone people follow up melee.

the crimsons recoil is just horrific you can’t even see the opponent half the time

they killed it when they nerfed its flinch by 30%+. it was the best gun on controller.
