Hit is still one of the most impressive fighters in the whole dbs, he never trained to reach his levels of power, he never needed too since he is an assassin and he felt like he didn't have to improve because no one has ever opposed him besides goku, and he went in the tournament when killing is not allowed and he can't use all his deadly techniques at his fullest as well. A training arc where he improves and gets a huge power boost whould be dope

I remember watching this episode and finding it incredibly stupid how Hit got eliminated. Not only did Jiren break through time itself but nobody thought to bump him off the ring. Or at least break the piece of ground he's standing on.
Yeah this was the point that I was pretty much done with jiren as a character obstacle.

I just didn't understand why they didn't hit him off, but realized that Goku needed his shine.
Goku also broke through time with raw power, dont see why jiren couldnt do it.
@@brunovondra1819 Goku kinda didn’t, he just predicted where Hit was gonna hit him. Hit’s timeskip wouldn’t have worked on Goku at all, Hit did use his Time skip after goku went ssbkx10 and still managed to land some blows on Goku. He increased his time skip further to ssbkx10 where couldn’t react to Hit’s movement
Cabba is actually pretty strong. If you remember in the last tournament when Cabba & Vegeta were facing off before Vegeta taught Cabba Super Saiyan, Vegeta stated him & Cabba were even in base form. So Cabba is actually pretty strong in own right, and stack on top that he can go Super Saiyan too he’s definitely a strong fighter.
That statement has been proved wrong multiple times already. Vegeta is way beyond Cabba even in base
The voice actor of Jiren also plays the voice of Garrosh Hellscream from world of warcraft and his performance is amazing in that as well
After 6 years I’m still so damn angry why Hit gotta eliminated early. He killed a character with a great potential to be a very sick and good character.

Hit actually did better than UI Goku did here. Jiren was one footstep away from being thrown off the edge. His technique closed the power gap, but it was not enough in the end.
Hit vs Jiren = Jotaro vs Dio.
In terms of voice acting.
Hit went in for the sneak attack against Jiren after blasting Goku away cause he saw the opportunity, Vados explains that it's when a fighter is at their most vulnerable. Also similar to when Goku and Pikkon were fighting in otherworld. But Jiren is just built different.
The whole frieza giving Goku power thing, went right over her head.
If Jiren can read the blocks the gods were moving to setup the ring then what makes people think he can’t read Hit? Jiren has the power to read movement around him easily like that like that level of sense is not normal at all. Only Jiren can do that so far as I’ve seen.
Yeah it's insane, despite his ridiculous strength and power what really makes him great is his intelligence and experience as a fighter
@@alexakos1223 that’s pretty much the only dealt why UI can compete with Jiren, Jiren can read movement and Goku body can move on its own through UI instinct.

Hit did more damage to Jiren than UI Goku did the first time
No he didn’t, Jiren wasn’t phased by the hit at all. Goku landed so many blows on Jiren and he didn’t feel any of it really. Goku grazed Jiren face as well. Goku inflicted more dmg to Jiren especially when he slammed his knees onto Jiren stomach I know Jiren felt that for a split second. His face expression says it all. He only did that face expression a couple times in the TOP. He didn’t do it with Hit unfortunately tho.

Hits attack did land and slightly damage. It sent him flying to the edge of the arena. He even acknowledged that it's a solid blow @@NocSlays
Still would like to know if this fight would be different if hit could use his full power because his still bound by the no kill rule
One thing you got to give to the T.O.P. was subverting our expectations. I'm sure most of us expected Hit to make it near the end but the writers had other plans. The T.O.P. is now throwing curve balls, some fighters/universes may last longer than you expect or shorter than you expected. Also, fighters you won't expect much from will do a Hail Mary if they're at risk of being knocked out.
Hit IMHO, is just Tien Shinhan 2.0, just on the level of Goku. Rather than have Tien actually improve to be on the same level as Goku, they created a purple alien copycat of Tien from an alternate reality. That said, it was awesome that he learned the ability to freeze someone in time, only issue is he wasted much of his strength and energy figuring it out and trying to "time it" that his will to maintain it was weak.
The boss in episode 121 is not talked about enough. Literally took everyone to defeat it. Can’t wait for the reaction

Jires was watching Hit vs Dyspo, so he figured out his fighting style and techniques, like Goku did. Without it Hit would have much bigger chance to win.
You do realize that Jiren is using only fraction of his power right? Hit never had a chance.
@@blackwidow7804 Many hits in vital organs and he is done, power means nothing, if Hit can strike opponent directly in the heart. One more thing, Jiren is to cocky, he was using only fraction of his power, but he could be defeated before he used his true might...

And again Jiren is heavily suppressed and yet he shrug off everything Hit throwed at him. Dont be a fanboy lol. I love Hit and he is 10x more interesting character than Jiren but he have zero chance.

It Would Have Made SO MUCH MORE SENSE For Hit To Have His Teammates To Go Full Power And Destroy The Flooring Underneath Jiren And Push Him Out.
Hit Was Better Off Going At Jiren Because Normally Someone Delivering A Finishing Blow Is At His Most Vulnerable, As They Stated In The Previous Episode. It Just Didn't Work Here.
ALSO JIREN IS FLYING AT THE END WHILE MEDITATING! NO PHYSICS CAN BS AROUND THAT!

My boy Hit is also pretty OP in own right, but with him eliminated, it's halfway through. The second half of this tournament is where things get wild and desperate... I've said already more than needed for this hint, lol.. Can't wait for the next episode.
He mentioned that the 7th universe really only had goku and vegeta but i think you have to take into account all the villains they've had from radditz to buu that if left alive they could have grown to big levels like frieza did. Basically the only reason goku and vegeta are the strongest is because they keep killing everyone else.

So, an interesting, unique and well-crafted character with a fascinatingly deep backstory and aptitude for ingenious battle tactics managed to create an intricate strategy so that he could defeat the opponent winds-up losing to a needlessly OP shallow character who we barely know anything about? How did this undeserving OP character manage to do this? He's just BIG strong lol.

Characters have died in every arc so it's safe to assume that would be the same in the ToP. As lame as it would have been for one of the top fighters to be disqualified because of it, it would have made all the sense for the weaker fighters to throw themselves in front of a blast Piccolo style and get one of the biggest threats knocked out.
Our universe have Goku, Vegeta, Gohan, Freeza and 17 as very strong fighters. 6 universe have only Hit, Kale (berserk) and the 2 Namekians. 7th is stronger for sure.
If these two have kids they gonna be uber dorks but theyre gonna be smart enough to destroy planets

One lower-level player in exchange for removing the most dangerous threat there is? Fair trade in my book.

Hits’ a cooler voice actor, Jirens’ Japanese voice actor sounds better than English, English just sounds like he’s trying to make his voice sound deep.
Hit basically lost for goku. He sneak attacked jiren while jiren was finishing of goku. He wanted to be even with him
Goku got lucky when Hit interrupted the end of the fight with Jiren, but Goku never attempted to return the favor for Hit, even if he was fatigued.
Can't wait for Gokus 2nd ui transformation against a certain saiyan. Her reaction to that fight is gonna be insane.
Hit, by his own admission, is actually pretty weak in terms of “power” and without his abilities he’d lose against quite a few of the fighters in this tournament. In this sense, Hit is more of a classic Dragonball character than a DBZ or DBS character when fights were all about brains and cool techniques as opposed to just braun, transformations, and beams.
Jiren has like a Level cap. Like if you are not Level 90 there is no point to fight him 😄

I hate Jirens backstory (or lack thereof) as well. Hit is way more interesting.
What does voice have to do with who’s better in terms of raw power? Jiren had a good back story to me, he was just one of those who because the powerful creature he is because of that trauma. Everyone deals with traumas differently and that Wa enough for Jiren to be as strong as he is.
@@NocSlays Idk know if you're talking to me or the other guy but I'll can only answer for myself. I don't really care about their voices, I was agreeing with the try-hard comment. Emotional trauma as a child is enough to make you train to be strong, so that you're never taken advantage of. That's fine, the part I don't like is the bullshit feats they gave him. His strength transcends time...that stupid even by DBS standards (there is a lot of stupid in Super). My grip is more with the writing, they couldn't come up with a compelling backstory, so they made him the strong silent archetype. It's boring and they did it to create suspense in the absence of good storytelling. Sorry for the long winded response lol.
