- Quarantine has us itching to get out of the house and we decided to venture out to one of our favorite restaurants, Sel in Old Town Scottsdale. Able to secure outdoor dining reservations with physically-distanced tables, we felt comfortable enough to dine and even brought Caleb with us to experience his first time fine dining.

My nephew, who is now 21, has ALWAYS been a foodie....at age 10, he ordered snails while on a cruise...and to this day, he loves fine dining. Keep it up with Caleb!!

My daughter Chloe is 27 years old now. I remember the days of being nervous for dinner outings when my Chloe was Calebs age.

I swear if there's something every person from the Valley/Southern Arizona does, it's go to Scottsdale to shop/dine at Scottsdale Fashion Square ;) Haven't been since New Year's 2020 (not from the valley) and so looking forward to going back!

So as someone is Massachusetts I have to ask why you didn't want to be judged about the monitor saying 68 degrees. too warm? Too cool? Sounds reasonable to us. It's the dead of winter here and 68 is what we keep our house at during the day, and we turn it down to 64 at night. As for the outside temp it is currently 23 with a "real feel" of 6. 68 feels nice and toasty inside. It's just interesting what is considered comfortable depending on where you live.
