Here in St Paul i was walking my dog and a homeless guy in his late 20's commented to me that it was cold. I asked where he is from and he said Fresno, CA. I asked him why he is in MN and he told me, "some of the best homeless benefits in the country" I met another guy from Miami.
What's Walz doing to help? What's the State of Minnesota doing? Nothing. You like our taxes though. Where the hell does it all go? Potholes? LMAO. Get your house in order!
Not potholes for sure! Huge amounts of fraudsters in Mn. Feeding Our Future, child care fraud, Medicare fraud. Seems like when it happens, it's massive, and for some reason, our leaders just can't find a way to catch, stop, or recoup. Smh.
The title should be, 'the people who decide to live on the streets of Minneapolis.' There is lots of space in the shelters in my neighborhood. But these people dont want to follow the shelters rules. There in lies the rub, RULES...
@scottschmidt4872 Everyone is trying to help the homeless in Minneapolis. They just don't want our help. The vast majority have chemical dependency so that's what they are interested in
People need hope and often times native Americans don’t have that. You can’t imagine what they are going through so stop trying to act like a shelter can fix everything. Life’s much more complicated then most can understand so just be happy you have a house to live in.
Big percentage of these people don't want to be a taxpayers! Who does? But we are and live life on life's terms! Yes rents are high! But minnesota the land of 10,000 programs helps people! BUT you got to answer to someone and follow their rules! That's were the problem lies! Close the borders and declare war the drug cartels
Nowadays even if you are a rebel and a renegade you have to have a plan for survival. I totally understand not wanting to be part of the society and all the rules. A person still needs food clothing and a warm shelter maybe some medical and dental care.
To be honest we have a lot of money and resources to stop this madness, if we can spent billions of dollars overseas and on other things then sure we can build houses and treatment centers for these people who been facing homelessness and mental illnesses
@@petebusch9069it’s not about being lazy, these people really have addiction problems and mental health problems it has nothing to do with being lazy. I find it odd we spend and send billions of dollars overseas but when it comes to our own people living in the United States O we don’t have the money, O that’s too much money but in the meantime we have millions and millions of dollars to spend and to send overseas I find that very odd. If we can spent and send billions of dollars in other countries we can spend billions of dollars to build homes and treatment centers for these people who been suffering and struggling with mental illnesses and other problems they been facing
fancy word to explain why people are deep in the mud. lmao its meaningless. "we need more conversations and understanding" same type of all talk no results BS we see in MN
As a native American let me educate you. Each reservation is based on blood percentage. Any native born in prior lake (which has a casino) those people get monthly checks from the rez which gets most its money from the casino. When those people turn 18 they get like $100,000 then I think $5,000 a month for the rest of their lives. The natives in this video must be from other reservations where it is poor.
I live in a mobile home - basically 1000 dollar Lot Rent - IN MN - And the highest lot rent t in the state- when the local average is about 500 - Yeah, money grubbing corporate interests - coming specifically from out of state - Legislators have known for 20 + years the conditions and least regulations for us here - We pay taxes for politician families, special interests, travel all over - their homes for sure, cannabis - war - Politicians install themselves despite how people vote - Give me a break - Just saying
throw more money at it without an actual plan, just talk and words about having a conversation and understanding and I'm sure it'll figure itself out. we are almost there!!!....right?

It’s so cold in Minnesota during the winter. I couldn’t imagine being homeless there.
They figure it out when it’s cold, somehow. There are beds available they just don’t want to utilize them when it’s nice enough out.
@@catfishman9516 it sucks when you're not homeless 🥶❄️☃️🌬️🌨️
Nowhere to sleep and most towns and counties no homeless shelters it sucks trying to find places to sleep
Simple those who don't want the help for housing, you can't do drugs in them.

They go out on the nicest night of the year and find anyone who seems homeless. I’m willing to bet the number is zero when it’s in the negative temps.
