  • Apologies for the duration but we cover a lot in this one.
    00:00 Intro and processes
    2:00 The zeitronix equipment
    7:00 more process discussions
    8:30 Autotune
23:00 Log file decoding and filtering for autotune
34:00 log files in more detail
    41:00 log file bug impact
43:00 wild speculation on why "tuned" bikes have awful fuel economy. LOL
Despite recording videos at each step of the process I decided to discard them and record this summary video from scratch.
The reason for that is that over the process of the first tuning iterations I was really trying to establish my own processes to ensure I didn't make any mistakes and to improve the quality of the tune. There was no reason for others to suffer through that journey too. LOL
So the first part of this video covers the file versioning.
Also I go into applying autotune settings and maps and we run into a few of the software's quirks and discuss things you can do to keep your adjustments "clean"
I talk about the hardware used for autotuning (the www.woolichracing.com.au/prod...)
I talk about a log file decoding bug and it's impact on MT09 gen3 autotune and in all fairness to woolich they were likely never given a log file with the full range of MT09 ETV data from which to derive the formula for calculating it.

Have you talked to Woolich about their big mistake shifting cells? Since your video is 5 months old, I hope they corrected this discrepancy..
I have big arguments with them for long, on many things...

Whats odd is your IAP map is backwards. Makes it confusing to.
On the R1 2015 bin it read high atmosphere pressure to low from left to right.. A video on how you can extract the loged data would be good.. When i use the Woolich export to csv only a few data channels randomly are exported... Oh by the way at WOT IAP.. cant happen if transition to TPS is at 10% throttle opening... At least on R1 it is...

The IAP map is how it is. I have no control over it.
The video before this and a later one cover me writing a decoder for the log file so you're not stuck with the crappy csv extract they do. It might work for an R1 log file. It might not. If it works great. If it doesn't I would be happy to investigate expanding it to cover your R1.

@@davidb3925 id really appreciate it if you had the time to look at it and see if your decoder works. how would i get it to you, or better yet how do we contact eachother outside of here.. besides publicly displaying contact info? Theres a lot we can discuss.. You probably figured it out but injector duration= milli seconds (well should :) )
