Great video! I had an Ecoflow Blade for a month before I returned it and got the Mammotion Luba 5000. To summarize, the Blade was horrible but the Luba 5000 is amazing and I couldn't be happier. I have wide open skies so no issues with RTK positioning with either robot, the main issue with the Blade was the omnidirectional wheels and poor software. It couldn't handle any inclines in my yard and would spend most of its battery spinning around trying to get unstuck. I have a huge incline in my parkway and the Luba 5000 handles it like a tank with the 4-wheel drive rubber tires. It can literally handle anything and get itself out of any situation. The battery lasts longer (2.5-3hrs) and charges faster (~1hr) than the Blade. The cut quality is better with the two individual blade decks (15.7" cutting width) that cuts to the edge. With a recent firmware update they upped the max cutting area from 1.25 acres to 2.5 acres! The software is hands down better in too many ways to describe. You can adjust the speed of the Luba when you're mapping or mowing so you can literally drive it around like an RC car if you want and map a huge yard in 5 minutes. The Blade only maps with one speed which is incredibly slow. One of the best features is that you can delete individual mowing areas, no go areas or channels without deleting the whole map (not the case with Blade!). What's even better is that with a recent firmware update, they let you edit the boundaries so if there's one spot in your yard that you don't like how the Luba is handling it, you can edit just that 5-30 ft boundary for example without messing with the rest of your map. It actually follows your boundary perfectly (unlike the Blade) and you can program it to do 1,2,3 or 4 boundary cuts before it starts cutting the main mow area.
Most importantly from a lawn care perspective is that you can control the angle of the cut and can put patterns in your lawn so you're not always mowing the same direction/pattern. So maybe you mow North/South on Monday, then East/West on Wednesday and then another day you can mow it on a diagonal..... very awesome! Another thing to note for people with big trees, the RTK beacon doesn't have to be installed/connected to the charging base so if you need to mount the RTK on your roof or on top of a fence which is 50 yards away from your charging base....no problem! Hope this helps someone out there.

Love the feedback. I think the ecoflow is close but this feels like it’s a beta test still. I have no doubt they will figure it out but I can’t recommend it for the time being.

Bro the best fix would be for that pad that it goes onto to be a wireless charging pad very similar to how android phones are and how Apple iPhone is it just go to the dock and wirelessly charges no need to clean any contacts or any of that nonsense. You guys should pitch this to the company Ecoflow.

Excellent talk or should I say show and tell. I am very curious about this subject. Thinking about my future and getting older. Plus I know my gas mower will not last forever. What is my next mower? Allyn stay on track with St. Augustine grass. As most of us here in Florida, that is what we have. Anyway I am excited to see where the future is for this. Thank you for all that you guys do for the DIYer. You save us from all the mistakes, heartache and frustration we could endure.

The ppl that can afford these robot motors are the ones that would rather pay a good company to everything and they don’t ever have to think about the yard, bushes, trees, and sprinklers. They need to be very cheap ,for ppl that already don’t edge, weed wack, or blow off there yard anyways

I’d like an improved robot mower with 4 wheel drive or tank style tracks, a higher cut, and a gate/door to go through a fence.

Best review of this mower I’ve heard. And I have to say it’s a hard no on buying it. I mow my tall fescue at the mowers highest height. And I don’t think this mower can go as high as I like.

What if you put a bigger wheel on the mower or somehow make the existing wheels larger so that it will cut at 4-inch height?
