Mr Reid had asbsolutely nothing when he met her, they got tons of work off the girlfriend single. He went on to say they hung out at her "plush condo" daily. He knew her husband said she was well off & lived in a mansion in san fransico. Another blinded by passion woman who helped put others "on" and expected nothing in return, got nothing. I didnt think men wrote "tell-all books" thought only like groupies did this kinda thang?

Honestly, I believe Vanessa Williams would have tore the song Girlfriend up, but like L.A said, that song was Pebbles. Girlfriend was the signature song of Pebbles' career.

The song "Girlfriend" was made perfectly for Vanessa Williams' voice, although Pebbles sang it! I know it hurt Vanessa's feelings, especially after the way the Miss America pageant ditched her, and how the public unreasonably criticized her for some photos an evil photographer released without her consent. LA Reid was wrong for that! However, Vanessa's successful career, far above Pebbles, was the sweetest revenge!! Hmmm... Pebbles who?? Lol
