When you think about it there is more chance of getting any 2011 50p coins than 2010

The one's with the paint on them could be from people practicing how to enamel coins. The paint/enamel likely wears away due to being circulated and not being sealed. Just a thought 😊

Nice 2011 Shield NIFC find Christopher! I have that in the annual set. I'm struggling to find the 2016 BP 50p's, only found the 2016 Beatrix Potter coin so far but you seem to find the whole set in every 50p hunt! I have al the 2017 versions and the 2 common 2018's ... Sure you can guess which 2 ! 👍

How many of us have had hundreds or thousands of pounds worth of change, we’ve not looked at and just spent. I check coin religiously now but so many clueless years. I should add, I’ve found nothing worth more than £2 for a 50p in 5 weeks of just keeping change

Oh nice! That's my favourite 50p design! They go for £1-£3 generally but I have seen them go for slightly not in the past as they are fairly uncommon

I have only just started collecting coins in the last couple of weeks and only have 4 x £2 coins which are ones that might be collectable / rarer than some others.
One is a 2013 W. Shakespeare & Rose £2 coin. Second is a London Underground £2 Coin which simply says "UNDERGROUND" on it. Third is a weird one and had writing which looks like it's in another language as it uses another alphabet and am not 100% sure what it is exactly and the last 'different' £2 coin I have so far is a 'World War 1' memorial one.
The thing is, one of the coins I have has a minting error and I think off the top of my head it is the William Shakespeare one as the edge writing is upside down when the Queen's head is on the up side - could this be valuable or maybe worth three or four quid at best? Thanks for any help given!
As for 50p pieces, I had a Paddington at the station one but I somehow lost it and the only 'different' 50 pence piece I have currently is a "2011" Olympics High Jump one which I know little about but am hoping to get 40 x 50p pieces from the Post Office soon and if I don't find anything 'different' I'll simply pay it back into my bank a/c,

Only minted for sets. None minted for general circulation. Same for 2009 2010 and 2016 shield. 2017 shield low mintage.
It wasn't issued for circulation only in the collectors sets
