I spent most of my time at sleepovers trying to avoid anything that might make it look like I was hitting on, or attracted to or interested in any of my friends because I thought they would hate me if they found out that I had these weird feelings that it didn't seem like any of them had.

I do too. Not because I'm gay, but because when I was a kid, my friends and I would have so much fun together without girls (no sexism intended) without considering getting judged by the opposite gender. I'm bisexual but this is so relatable anyway since boys took way longer than girls to get hot. I went through the exact same thing. I didn't realize that I was indeed bisexual and teenage boys are just gross and awkward until freshman year of high school.

I feel like this is what a straight person thinks it's like to be gay at a sleepover.
I spent most of my time at sleepovers trying to avoid anything that might make it look like I was hitting on, or attracted to or interested in any of my friends because I thought they would hate me if they found out that I had these weird feelings that it didn't seem like any of them had.
I know both types of people. The ones that try to hide it and the ones that are trying to trick you into a buttfuck game even though they know you're not gay.

I do too. Not because I'm gay, but because when I was a kid, my friends and I would have so much fun together without girls (no sexism intended) without considering getting judged by the opposite gender. We can goof around and enjoy ourselves pretty much carelessly. On the other hand, whevener we play with girls, all of my friends would put up a "cool" act, and do awkward things appealing to the girls when I could clearly see that they are all feeling really uneasy.

I'm bisexual but this is so relatable anyway since boys took way longer than girls to get hot. I had to idea what I was for ages (boys are gross, girls???? yes?) but I had so many crushes on adult men in my life that "lesbian" just never really fit. Turns out it's just my peers were still in that gross phase and wouldn't get hot until later.

Throughout middle school I was convinced I was a lesbian, because I only had crushes on girls my age but not guys, but I knew that it felt wrong because I've found adult men attractive.
