Looks great! I also built out a 1542. One thing id recommend: i got a baking pan the perfect size for my troller pedal to fit in and i framed it in so itd be flush with the deck. I find its very helpful on the 1542 because it allows you to keep even weight on your legs and keep better balance since its not the most stable boat in the world
Instead of aluminum (bty, great job), although yours is better, we may seal and paint l 2 x 2s and 2x4's which should last quite a while. Very nice boat. Very thorough and well planned. Congrats!
Nice boat build. I have a tricked out tracker 1542 as well it's a great shallow water bass boat. The way I have mine set up I can run in as little as 6 inches of water.
Man that boat looks sweet! I want one but not the 13 and 15 year financing deals they want to lock you up with nowadays! So I am in the process of finding a decent size aluminum boat and go from there!
Thanks! The back deck I just attached the plywood deck directly to the factory bench seat. On the back corners my boat came with factory installed boxes so I just had to build those up a little bit with wood to make them flush with the decking I installed over the top of the bench seat. Hope that makes sense!
@@juicejonesfishing6030 10-4 makes perfect since I mine is a 1436 so it’s got a trassom mount thing so it helps support it and I don’t got room for my gas tank😂. So I think I am going to cut one box out and buy a hatch for the tank. But thanks man
Nice build. I have your little brother Topper 1436, when I grow up I'd like to be a 1542. I have 2 questions; 1) Does your outboard get in the way of side scan and 2) Is 46 lb. thrust trolling motor enough?
Dude, I live in the same county, I just purchased a 1448 boat, and I really would like to meet with you and pick up some pointers on how you framed the decks in your boat, I am planning to use aluminum framing to keep the weight down, but I have never done it before, any help would really be appreciated, if you can reply, I will forward my email so we can plan a meet somewhere in Bonaire, hoping to hear from you soon !!!
I have the same boat and motor I installed a casting deck as well good job.

Great video dude. Boat is a 9/10. Hat is a 10/10.

I need to get me one of your hats. Awesome boat
Yes whoever designed them did great
Good looking boat! In the middle of a 1436 build myself, a 1542 would have been a sweet platform! Must fly with that 25.
Thanks! I think the fastest I’ve gone is close to 30 MPH. Most of the time I’m around 26-27. That’s plenty fast enough for me
I freaking love it
Very nice build. I’m looking to do one of my own soon and you’ve definitely given me some ideas.
Awesome! Thank you!
Sweet! Great build!
Sick boat dude 👊🏼
nice boat
Just found your channel, absolutely love your content keep up the good work

You should post some fishing videos using this boat. Also what battery are you using for your trolling motor?
A list of the accessories would be nice to please
Do you have the plans written down on how you out this boat together?
I 2nd the instructions. I know that it's a lot to ask.
Awesome boat man I am in the process to do something like that can you make a vid or post pictures on how you did your rear deck

Make a video on how you built the box!
Nice job! Contemplating decking the rear on my boat, how are the gas fumes with yours?

How did you stick you carpet down
Can I get some more info I'm getting ready to deck out a 1542 Lowe
Is this the Perry WMA?
Yes!
@@juicejonesfishing6030 nice. That’s the highest I’ve seen that pond/lake in a long time.
What kind of hinges did you use
I used stainless hinges I got off of Amazon. I’ll try to add a list of some of the materials I used! Thanks for the feedback!
@@juicejonesfishing6030 very nice. Thanks for the quick response
@@juicejonesfishing6030 why those instead of a piano hinge
@@juicejonesfishing6030 I’ll bet that 25 makes that thing haul ass
@@largemammaloutdoors4503 I think the piano hinges were way more expensive lol
How much was the cost of material you have into your rig?
I would estimate I put in about $1000-$1200 total. However, this was back in 2019 when lumber prices were much lower
That's awesome man you done a great job. Do you Wanna do mine now
