Oh my, this is just insanely gorgeous! I'm drooling here. I love those moon cards too, what an awesome addition. This looks like the perfect deck to use for fall, it just has that perfect color scheme. I love the wash used in the background as well. What a unique, beautiful deck. And that strength card with the bear! Wow, these images are incredible. Can't wait to order myself one! Thanks for sharing!!
This deck is AMAZING! Right now my favorite deck is the Llewellyn Tarot however the swords and wands are swapped, so wands is air and swords are fire. Which now makes sense for me. So going to another deck may throw me off, not sure lol.

Is there a reason you didn’t get the book? What is your all time favorite deck? Do you have a favorite book or books for digger deeper into learning the universal meanings of symbols? I have the 1st edition, so I'm not sure what's going on with the 2nd edition... but the folks at Uusi are so detail-oriented, my guess is that they've kept the gilt.

I'm also thinking that it's probably something you can find easily in Chicago in the Fall... since they must have shipped bundles of these out! -- It doesn't come with LWB but they have a very nice guidebook you can purchase separately... I did. (Which reminds me: probably time for a real review video one of these days!)
I actually just received the 2nd version - the moon cards don't even have gold gilt on the moon cards - looks more like a grey photocopy of the original gold holographic foil, totally dull, totally disappointing. Tempted just to throw these cards away, they suck.
I love your description of the packaging. It does have a time traveling feel to it and oh what a story that could be.

I love the Linen finish, the pagan costumes, I cannot stand the woman's face on The Lovers and the Devil card frightens me, lol. Very Earth to me...

Mindful Tarot I spoke to them - turns out the 1st version had holographic gold foil, the 2nd is just plain old boring gilt. 😒

It's a bit too pippy. Would have expected more from the minors. The death and devil cards, oh boy. Not sure what they were thinking there.
