is it because of P0128 error code? how can we diagnose that it is thermostat problem, before opening the PS and MODULE? I suppose measuring resistance to be 2k for coolant temp sensor. more detailed video of removing the bolts and PS assembly would help
I replaced thermostat and twice now after I’m all done I have blue fluid coming out of bottom but can’t see where it’s coming from. Has to be from new thermostat. How tight do you tighten? I’m going to buy new gasket and do again. Any advice?
I am sure the thermostat housing gasket was not in place. Please make sure the gasket is in place and before you put it on and don’t tight it too much. I don’t have the torque specs right now, but make sure it’s not too tight to break. You can also do a pressure test so you can find where the leak is coming from.
I did it myself looking at this video. it was a full day job for me. I am not very experienced. becareful not to brake thermostat bolts and its pain to remove them

Hello dear
About 2019 model same the location of thermostat?
Yes 2019 should be the same because it has the same engine on it
How much time did that take and how much frustration?
We’ll probably took me about an hour and half maximum. And with the frustrations it comes with the job so it’s normal haha
It took me a day. One of the three bolts broke the head in engine block. I end up buying a tool to remove it.

I’ll rather take it to the dealer where if they f up they can fix it!! Some of your local mechanics will screw up and make things worse lol😮
