Hard Drive Oddities #4 - Broadband Internet from NTL advert, 2001

Broadband? Nah, it'll never catch on.
An advert from 'Channel:NTL / Chan:NTL' in December 2001. An advert offering broadband via Cable, this I believe was the first time this happened. I also recall that the modem they used was through the set top box, usually the Pace 1000 STB, offering speeds up to 512Kbps.
You may also recognise the music from the advert, it was used as the later theme of ITV's The Time The Place.
Channel NTL went from an information channel to a promo channel offering broadband before it was ditched altogether a couple of years later.
