Wowzer, cant wait, please go eastern highlands zim, eg nyanga, would love to see copperbelt zambia where i was born but its not really a holiday destination, whatever u do i m sure will be brill, always is
I do like that carbon wrap, have you thought about doing some of the interior trim parts too, that screen looks superb but it’s surrounded by the cheap plastic parts.
Thanks Christopher, hasn’t crossed my mind to be honest, but now that I think about it . . . Maybe one day. Just have to save to get the ol girl fixed first 😬
Thank you Wesley, living the dream and broke as a joke 😂 Latest repair costs are going to haunt my dreams for a while. See you at the next one, and if you feeling like you could help, smash the super thanks button at the bottom of the episode. Appreciated 🤟
Yes, it has been great to work with brand. It wouldn’t be possible without their support to have their products, but, here in SA it is on an exchange basis, with zero remuneration
As always Ryno The RHINO produces another great video . Interesting to see how much work goes into getting your rig looking so GOOD . Enjoy Zambia and Zimbabwe ! ! !
The preparations for the video shoot, modifications, excellent presentation skills, Ryan this was a joy to watch. I'm probably more excited about the new look Ranger than you! Fantastic job mate
I really like the black & white wrap! I have a new white GMC Sierra, 6'6" bed, 3.7 litre turbo that is a blank pallete that replaced my beloved 2021 Ford Ranger Tremor. I'm going with a black & white theme, RSI Smartcap and other accouterments. Sterkte vir You, Ryan!
Awesome video, lots of expensive upgrades on the vehicle. Looking forward to the Zambia adventure. Doesn't look like you got up to South Luangwa. Would love to see some footage of Mfuwe and the park.
Great upgrades and excellent episode Ryan please share the rattle fix on the front suspension my ranger is standing on 104000 km 4 years old with the same rattle but i haven't found it yet and to replace parts until problem is solved can be a costly exercise kind regards Markus Dippenaar
Thank you for another great video Ryan .Love Love your content and can’t wait for the Zambia episode. You do justice to my beloved African bush which I miss so much.
What a great video, Ryan! You inspired me to buy a 2016 Ranger and I'm slowly doing overlanding upgrades every month. I was pleasantly surprised to hear you put in a subwoofer - that was my first install as a typical Durbanite now in Jhb 😂 I took quite a few videos on my phone camera in the beautiful Pafuri area and just need the confidence to post them on UA-cam 😅 You and Ed are incredibly humble guys and have certainly motivated a lot of us to get out there.
Your wrap combo is great looking, especially the canopy. Are you not going to regret the darker shade on the bonnet and light reflection it will create?
Good day Mr Ryan. I'm watching here in Botswana in Serowe town. I'm impressed by the upgrade especially the electronics inside the vehicle. The colours of the car the do blend perfectly. I just wish you pass by serowe by the time you make Botswana adventure for me to take a selfie with your Ranger😂 cheers....
Morning Ryan, the old rwap get my vote, but it doesnt mattet, as long as you love it and the car is doing great as i see what it went through to prep it, i think its gonnna be a real adventure. Cant wait.great show and it has been educational too.
Ryan sweet upgrades my man 👌🏼😍 how nice of the sponsors and the guys for getting behind your channel. My fav upgrades have gota be the Ikamper, Hamer bumper and the Onex gear they installed. Shame Ford didn’t sponsor you they should! Your channels Epic 🎉 Also that 32k ZAR here in the U.K. would cost 3x that amount we need new brake pads front and rear with discs and spark plugs will set us back £1.2k so around 28.5k ZAR 😰 but brakes are important and I love my motor. Have a lovely evening cannot wait for the next episode tomorrow 💪🏼
Meticulous preparation Ryan, this is absolutely great for the upcoming great journey. The Ranger looks absolutely robust and ready to hit the road now. Keep the good work Ryan 💪
Yes, Namibia trip was before this trip, and the changes you see now are the latest updates. Like I mentioned in the beginning, too many Namibia episodes out now, so, These next 4 episodes are something different. My Namibia episodes haven’t been edited yet, but will come in time 🤙
Hello Ryan thank for your awesome overlanding adventure videos. I watched all of them. It's good to make a change to your truck, but personally I loved the previous wrap of grey, it was rugged and wild. That grey colour made your truck better looking than the other guys. Keep the great work, we support you. 🎉
i really love it here, i may not contribute financially but i really love it here and the least i can do is watch over and over again. great content. i love it i love it i love!!!!!
Thank you bud, and really appreciate it. There is a super thanks at the bottom of the UA-cam video frame. Any contribution no matter how small goes a long long way to helping the repairs on the ranger. See you at the next one 🤙
Love your channel, must say I was watching this episode wishing I had the money to just do a few upgrades to mine. But the money you spent in this episode is way outside most people’s budget. I like the new look but preferred the grey. Keep up the good work.
Absolutely love your videos, an expat living in Australia, I used to live in Northwold so seeing you around my old stomping ground makes the heart sore! Never mind the overlanding videos wow wow wow love and you keep me sane by watching you and Ed doing what you do and love ❤️ keep them coming
The new wrapping will take time to get used to. The grey was mint, but it looks good. There are more gadgets in there now than a spaceship 😂. Maintaining a 4x4 is expensive, but maintaining one that is putting in the miles is where the big money lies. But she looks really good and can't wait for the Zambia videos. Keep up the good work mate👌👍👌
Your channel/videos are inspirational to aspiring outlanders like me who have little knowledge about what is needed out there in the wild. Great episode Ryan. You should think about a show where you invite novice outlanders 😊
Great video thanks for posting. I did a two week self drive camping safari in Namibia in October. I'm hoping to do either Botswana or Zambia within the next few years.
The rig is looking insane Boet . Awesome !!. Looking forward to the Zambia episodes . Love the new wrap colour, but also not too sure about the white/black contrast and still like that grey 😂🙌 . Have fun and see you in the road sometime
Indeflate is probably the best piece of kit I own! First thing out at any trail/tour and the last thing to get put away before you hit the blacktop! Had a small issue on my indeflate a while back, popped them a mail and Ricus got me sorted quick-quick, serviced my indeflate and it's been working 100% ever since!
Awesome work on the upgrades Ryan! Did not realise your beast is only a year newer than mine haha. Good work keeping it maintained!!! Loving the upgrades and i definitely prefer the white over the grey. You bakkie looks mint!!! Would be keen to hear your thoughts on the One Nav Smart Mirror as im considering it for mine. I also had the one nav system in another car and had exactly the same experience as you, hence going a different route in my bakkie. But the mirror looks like a winner! What did you do with your old RTT? 🤔🤔 on brakes, have you got standard ford brakes? Having endless issues with my upgraded ones and thinking of going back to originals...anyways keep up the great work and awesome content!!!
Hi ABR, I did have the upgrade power brakes in the front but just the brake pads. Ummmm went back to standard. I would love to do the full brake upgrade to replace drums to discs at the back but cost is killer. Standard ones do the job mate, just keep them maintained, and if anything I’ve heard of replacing the brake fluid to a higher heat tolerance fluid. Racing spec brake fluid is said to be a solve? I sold my old RTT, loved it, but yeh, long story. The one X Mirror is great. Has a forward and back camera, with the front camera recording crash and or bumps. It does the job for me nicely legend. Thank you for your comment and support 🤟
@4x4ventures_southafrica will give the upgraded fluid a try. Someone said to me it's because of the lift I have. There's something on the diff that needs adjusting so the ABS "adjusts" to the lift. 🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️ looking for a specialist to help... the guys I've been to have just lied about work done etc etc(one even said the disc's were installed the wrong way round) 🤦🏻♂️ anyways will give feedback once I work it out 😂🤣. Ill have to get the Smart Mirror but ill let you use it for a bit and ask you again in a couple of months haha! Anyways have a great evening! Thanks for responding!! Looking forward to the next vid on Zambia and Zim.
Great episode. Really enjoyed it and so well produced. The Ranger is looking good. I'm a Saffa in Queensland, Australia. One day when your channel is huge (which it will be), you have to organise a trip to Aus. The overlanding here is incredible! You can get your fill of remote tracks, beach driving and river crossings here.
@@4x4ventures_southafrica always a pleasure. Until I can afford my own bakkie, I’m living my overlanding adventures through your channels and I’m so grateful.
