- Just a quick, unedited, night spin through Cork City to test out the GoPro Hero 7's low-light performance. I also wanted to try capture clear exhaust audio, with as little wind noise as possible, so let me know what you think of the sound in the comment section below.
If you enjoyed the video, please check out my channel & subscribe for more "structured" content in the future.
Cheers! :D
All the songs used were taken from this playlist:

bike sounds lovely
Cheers pal! :)
Very cool. There is something relaxing and yet exciting about going for a night time cruise through the city.
As a cork native this looks class....very tempting (except I'm only on a 125 till I turn 18). Id say south link road at night would be some craic btw
I see you couldn't resist the temptation to open it up down that long straight on Western Road.
Yeah, the person riding knows the road is lovely and clear at night it seems... :P
haha the bike goes brrrrp brrrrp
Think you forgot to blur something.
Maybe he had few before ? :) was gonna do the same in Dublin but i had a few lol, or he got his account hacked and someone wants him to get in trouble :D
The strangest thing happened. I left my helmet on the bike with the camera rolling & somebody must've put it on & went for a spin. They were nice enough to leave everything back as normal though.
@@LuckyLukeRides Well they don't call you Lucky for nothing. 🙄
@@damokkles7063 That's also a possibility :P
@@LuckyLukeRides other theory was you did sthg real bad to your other half, she left you and had that video , posted it to get back at you. So many different possibilities
Thanks again for an awesome ride!
Thanks for watching man!
Luke u doing great no dislikes well we all expected that
Haha, cheers man! :)
That was a grand little spin i hope ya enjoyed it as much as we liked watching it👍
Cheers Francis. Just said I'd throw up the raw, unedited spin & see how it goes as just a trial video :)
That was a blast! Bike sounds great Luke🔥🤘
Cheers Seth! :) Think the audio came out alright!
Hey Luke love the channel, came across you after @gorillabiker mentioned you.. I'm very new to motovlog myself, I enjoyed flicking through your videos to see your progression and look forward to watching in more detail when I can find time between editing, filming and work ( never would have guessed its this much work)
Hey man! :) Gorilla is a sound skin! Glad you're enjoying my stuff! Haha, yeah there's a lot of work involved but it's all good fun! I'll check out your channel man!
Holy shit the camera quality is unreal
Haha, thanks man! I was messing around with the GoPro settings. It actually performs well in low-light!
Lucky Luke Rides no problem man, it looks absolutely unreal! Stay safe man
Sounds unreal!!
Cheers Mishky pal :)
That was f**king excellent Luke.
Thanks Tom man! Whoever was riding the bike made a great video for me :P
Finally spotted my bike in one of your vids after 2 years of watching!
Really? :o Where's that now haha?
Lucky Luke Rides Right at the start, by St Patrick’s Church on Lower Glanmire. I’m always keeping an eye out for you around town to give you a wave 👋
Your speedo is very clear ... for a 50kph zones. ;-)
Some knacker stole my bike for this video...
Sounds good! Whoever that hooligan was riding your bike, though.... Wonder how many folks see that speedo and not realize it's in kph, if that were mph it would be a very different story!
Yeah, some bastard stole it and recorded this!
Haha, hopefully everyone realises it's kmph haha, otherwise people would think I own a turbo charge MT-07!!
Good little spin, amazingly it’s almost unrecognisable as Cork. The night give a completely different perspective. Sound is awesome You need to video it down Patrick St blipping the throttle as people cross, I bet there will be a few who jump or run 😂😂
Yeah, it's so quiet...
The GoPro actually handles well enough in low-light to be fair!
Patrick Street blipping is on the cards :P
Whats the music at the start?
Hey man, I just used all the songs from here:
ua-cam.com/video/arD4tfzH3U0/v-deo.html
Hi you said in a previous video your first insurance quote was €880. What bike was that for? The Honda Super Four?
Yeah pal, that was for the '95 Super Four 🤟
@@LuckyLukeRides thanks for the info. all the best with the channel. you're a great talker in your motovlogs.
You should try the Street Hawk theme music over this video lad.
Hahaha, had a listen there. That's brilliant! :P
BRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAP! 🏍💨
BRAP BRAP CITY :P
class video,, have you a video on your helmet setup? if not what do you use? camera, mic etc
Thanks Dave! :)
I think I've a video but it's probably outdated.
I currently use a GoPro Hero 7 black with a Tascam DR-05X external mic.
I normally place the mic inside the cheek of the helmet to talk but for this one, it was placed in a backpack, near enough to the exhaust. I'm fiddling around with no ways to capture raw bike audio.
@@LuckyLukeRides Nice, I can't find the video now but i'm sure RoyalJordanian runs a mic in his helmet and 1 on the back to capture the exhaust. might be worth checking out. Audio on that video was great tho (not that we don't like listening to you 😂😂)
What setting would you recommend for a GoPro hero 5 black for night time
Hey man, I just used the auto setting on the GoPro Hero 7. I find night footage is very hard to record!
Lucky Luke Rides okay thanks man btw love the videos keep it up
Motorcycle ASMR.
That pipe sounds dirty.
Haha, that's what I was going for to be honest.
She's duuuurty out as what all the Dubs would say.
That's class. Night spin after a few pints from the pub obviously.
BRAP
Never ever drink & ride... (bikes anyway)...
Ah the auld km/4hours You barely broke 30km/h there :D Handy Yamaha have that km/4hour function.
The sound was class, maybe a bit less muffled would be good. Where did you have the recorder? I've seen humans put them in those leg holsters and record there and they come out very clear! :)
Whatever settings you had the camera on it came out class!!
Yeah the km/4hour is a handy feature :)
It's a bit muffled at times! I had it in the backpack! Just testing out new ways to try capture exhaust audio!
Leg holsters?
Camera was just on auto but does look nice with the lights!
