I do that plus I'll add half a barrel cut long ways and bolt it to it and add a feeder made of pvc then feed salt block alfa and corn.

I love the idea but rabbitats are also prime areas for groundhogs which need to be eliminated at all costs. So what do you do?
Why eliminate ground hogs? If we are just looking at native area and wildlife they are of great benefit

You got the wrong impression.
What started as an act of kindness can quickly go out of control. Rabbits can easily become a pest. That's why they try to keep the population at a certain level.
He's a conservationist. If he was just doing it for hunting he would also be killing the birds.
