- Hey Truckers! One of our drivers got stuck in the middle of the intersection a couple blocks away from our shop. The i-shift just went unresponsive and he was unable to move. Tune in as we diagnose the repair and determine what's needed to get this truck back on the road.

That just happened to me where it would go sometimes go into gear and sometimes it wouldn’t. Had to change the gear selector and the problem went away. Took my mechanic some time to figure it out.
What if it was my truck how much would something like that cost to get fixed. Everyone with an automatic needs to know the cost for something like this and down time. Thank you.

Great work guys, what’s the year and mileage on this truck? Is that the original clutch and flywheel?
I had that once where the truck wouldn’t move, a huge amount of water in the whole system, ruined the air pressure sensor in the tecu and didn’t allow the truck to move. It would only go in reverse and it stalled itself with the brakes on, crazy lol.

So, you replaced the clutch and the problem was solved? We have the same issue with a 2012 Pinnacle. Intermittent, then persistent. SHOWS gear, but throttle response stops in gear. 2 trucks out of 3 down now- we're hurting.

I’m going through this problem now and my truck but the mechanic is not 100% sure the clutch is the problem but that’s what he’s changing out. When you guys had this problem and changed out the clutch did that fix the problem?
Having this issue now,replaced clutch, clutch cylinder, and solenoid valve, still getting “low air” when hooked up to computer, I’m leaning there’s an internal leak in transmission
