The Stones rule! Love all eras of the band. Mick and Keith are great songwriters. Charlie is rock steady! Ronnie is as cool as always. There will never be another Rolling Stones!
A pretty good attempt at a song they first played 55 years ago. They should do much more of this old stuff; Flight 505, Cops and Robbers, Down the Road Apiece, Stupid Girl, the list is almost endless. Sadly, I suppose the punters wouldn't stand for it.
With you totally on this Manfred. As much as I love BS, SFTD etc I have heard them so many times. As you say that's what the majority of the crowd who go to see them want I suppose. The early stuff is excellent especially as Brian was 'the true spirit of the Stones' and what they played and recorded then. Good comment MW
Amazing, 50 years after Hyde Park they seemed to forget the one who passed away 50 years ago on the day this gig was given, , no word on that.. God Bless Brian Jones! Much more important to me then what guy wrote this song at all. How stupid!!!!!
Yeah but this performance landed on the 50th anniversary they could’ve at least acknowledged Brian. He started the band, named them and got them gigs. If it weren’t for him there would be no rolling stones so for them to not even mention him on just even one day is pretty sad.
No mention of Brian Jones. If you are a Brian fan this FB group is the best out there for keeping his memory alive! facebook.com/groups/948668451903865/
Hi M.O. ! Keep Brian Alive! Don’t know if you are in the United States.there are some here that are trying to get his story never forgotten, stay tuned! And keep the faith!
Considering the health scare Mick Jagger had recently, not bad at all. However, the band just couldn't bring themselves to say just WHY the Hyde Park Concert took place.
Shame on Mick Jagger and also Keith and Charlie for not one mention of the man who was the founder of The Rolling Stones, who not only name the band, but recruited each one of them and to whom they owe their fame and fortune to! Brian Jones! Who died July 3rd 1969, 50 years ago! Loyalty doesn’t go vert far with any of these 3 or they would have made some mention of Brian in remembrance.
Bro I been there 7 times and I'll tell u this Mr UA-cam who said they're talentless lmao they are now the highest grossing concert tour, going and they pack 60k plus in a stadium, not too many rock shows or any genre can do that or have done it! When ur 75 plus hit me up from the nursing home lol
Amazing how Charlie Watts keeps on moving and doesn't miss a beat despite being the older of them. Congrats Charlie, you're the boss.
Not many bands can introduce a song by saying, "We haven't played this song in 50 years."
that's funny
That's right
Great, I wish the Stones played more such rare stuff instead of repeating always the same hits.

Stones saved my life many times,
Well hell yea! They did the best covers of these Motown/Soul/R&B when they were just beginning to roll. And some 50+ years later, they still nail it.
No lo puedo creer,tocaron mercy,mercy
Se me puso la piel de gallina
Great Rock´n´Rolling Stones forever
Amazing live version 50 years after Hyde Park!
Mercy, mercy,Mick still love your voice when you speak as well with your English accent. You are my heart!
Great performance! Thanks so much for the post.
No teleprompter and Mick hit those high notes

Totally Agree, Arno! Keep Brian Alive! They won’t!
Fact check old pal ,Mr. Jones had drown like 3 or 4 days earlier ,the gig was already planned ,but then became a memorial concert for Mr. Jones.
Danny C. Jewell and?…

Takes you back to 1969 in Hyde Park haha
Mentioned Don Covay but couldn’t mention Brian’s name in the 50th anniversary of his death!!

Nicholas Nicholsky we are a LOT and more and more everyday!
(Me I never ceased since April ‘64!)

Susan you are right they should have mentioned Brian Jones, but the concert was scheduled before his death.
Great tribute to Brian.
It’s not a great tribute, or even a tribute at all, if the person who is being ‘paid tribute’ isn’t mentioned by name
MrJimmyoc00 where do you see a tribute? Quite hypocritical not to to mention the NAME!
THINKING OF BRIAN...
99.9% of the folks said I never heard this ever
I am the .1% Bought every single one of their albums through Black and Blue

A camel can’t fit through an eye of a needle
this was my view last night in NJ...that damn camera man NEVER moves. He blocked Charlie all night! UGH!!
What a joke they are now
Amature videos dont do the live show justice.
keep on rollin 79 nope. Every video shows they are talentless and boring!
