I run dovetail beds on s10s, One thing I would highly recommend is taking the fuel tanks off the top and putting them underneath the truck! I speak from personal experience, crew was out mowing, it was hot out and the mower was put in the back of truck, the hot exhaust from mower and fumes from hose caught fire!! luckily they had a fire extinguisher and got the fire out before it burnt the truck down to the ground! I only put enough fuel on truck to make the days route! and it is underneath the truck!
I havnt actually fabricated these myself, I bought them all but I’m really close with those that build them. The metal itself was like $1,600-$1,800 then a good fabricator can get them done in a day and half to 2 days.
hey If your interested in seeing how I mounted shovels and rakes on my solo set up. i can shoot you a picture it holds 7 and also clears drive throughs ;)
Great subject ! Lots of ways to skin the cat so to speak. I went with pvc pipe on the diagonal, but I've got a tilt trailer and space under the trailer and bungee to keep stuff in place... Only bring tools for the season/ job. As a one man show, I Gotta keep it simple, but always looking for genius... you have good ideas.
I love the side dump. Taking notes for sure
Could you share the basic dimensions of the bed? Length of flat area? Length of dove tail? Length of ramp?
Width of bed? Width of grass hopper?

That does sound like a good idea to put them underneath. And I should get fire extinguishers. Thank you!
Great video thanks
Hi
I love the setup.
How much does it cost to modify the truck?

🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️all that wind resistance
If they are going only like 50km, it wouldn’t be that much of an impact
Must be Florida, strange dude . Not sure what to say about color scheme
