My prayers go out to you, Gary, and your team that's going too. May God give you all traveling mercies. I really enjoy your Q & A sessions, too. My grandparents on my dad side had a dairy farm. I was way too young to know how many cows they had, but years later, my mom told me that they had at least one milk truck leaving the farm every day. They also had bees and sold honey.

Hey Y'all, What a fun video. I am so impressed and proud of y'all for the love you have for children esp the the tribal children in dire need. Opening yourselves, your hearts, home and family to them. I love your kids they are all full of their own personalities and y'all have so much support for each one. If you never said anything no one would even think two were adopted.
I grew up in Mississippi and we lived in the country so we were out in the woods all the time and we all had BB guns and pellet guns. You better bet I could drop a squirrel that was on the run through the branches of the trees. My friends mama would fix us a pot of squirrel stew and we thought that was the best meal besides catching crawfish outta the creek after a big rain. All summer long we would go to the railroad tracks and walk along picking all kinds of berries. In the fall we would gather all kinds of nuts esp pecans and spend weeks shelling them. It was amazing all the free food we found year round just by going outside. The only phone we had was on the party lines and there was always some adult woman sayin y'all kids get up off this phone it's for grown folks and don't think I don't know who your mama is. Later on I figured out they had no idea who our mama was but they scared us enuf to hang up.
My point being y'all really stir up memories that I have of growing up and for that I am very thankful. Last thing Cassie you really should set up a list of questions and y'all each do a video separately to answer them. I think that would be fun! Because in my mind if you ain't havin fun you should just go home.God bless y'all have a safe trip Gary.

I grew up on/around a ranch, not a farm. If I remember correctly, they had 25 sections of deeded grazing land, and another 20 sections of leased grazing rights from the BLM. 1 section of land is 640 acres. (1 square mile) So 28,800 acres, that they ran Hereford beef cattle on. Like Cassie, I started with a BB gun (Daisy), moved to a pellet rifle, then .22, and up. I also spent 20+ years in the military, shooting everything from a 9mm pistol up to a .50 cal machine gun. And 3 different versions of 40mm grenade launchers. From the start, firearm safety was drilled into my head, and body. That safety continues to this day, and was also taught to my daughter.
Stay safe on your trip, Gary. Pretty sure Cassie and the kids will take good care of the farm.

My ex started taking our boys hunting with him when they were about 5yrs old. They had to carry a BB gun and treat it just like any other firearm. Safety first when they showed consistency with that, they could move up. He also reinforced you shoot anything living you eat it.

Of you can, stop,at the Nisquali Federal Bird Refuge with your walking shoes on. The interactive visitors center/ interpretive center covers the Nisquali Vslley farming and First Nations history plus the Mount Rainer watersned geology, flora and fauna, and the zoologic world from insects to saltwater critters. Its a good introduction to different habitats from Canada and down into northern California. Its $3/ea adults with lesser student and kid prices. Certainly in times past folks circled up the RVs and car trunks then BBQ'd for lunch in the outer parking lot. Bringing food and beverage is encouraged.

Also if you foster first, it should be easier to adopt from that. At least that's what my nephew says, and he lives in TX. He has a set of half brothers, one is adopted, they're working on the second one to get adopted. The newest one is a baby, the older one is three now.

38 How he blesses them! They raise large families there, and their herds of livestock increase.

Absolutely love when you two sit and answer questions! You are Among the most admired and respected people I watch and I love how you both teach your children about the importance of church and respect for others and how they help out around the house and the farm. I also love they are involved in sports and Mazzy learning music and playing the violin. It’s sad that in today’s world it has almost impossible for people to survive without two paychecks and sadly a lot of children don’t get the quality time they so need with their parents or the opportunity to get involved in activities that require parents involvement and support and love. Too much alone time until parents get home. Till they eat if they are lucky enough for a decent evening meal, help with homework when they so need it, warm homes, & warm clothing sadly isn’t something available to so many and it breaks my heart 💔 I pray I live to see things getting better. It starts by each of us helping our families and others if change is to happen. God Bless each and every soul in this world and the Walkers, Gary and Cassie for setting a great example and sharing their lives and experiences for others to see and learn how to become better. Hugs and Love to the Walkers and all people. Grammie Suzie ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
