From our trip at universal, I learned to use some muscle rub and take some IB profen at night and it really helped with feeling ready to do another long day at the parks! These shoes sound pretty cool. I bought Asics for my trip and have been pleased, but I like the customization about the ones you shared here.
If you do end up trying them out, you'll have to let us know how you like them!
Another excellent subject! Shoes are a Big Deal, particularly for theme parks. And I am kind of a nut about comfortable shoes and hiking boots. So before we went to Disneyland last May, I really looked for a good pair. But I wanted sandals. Cooler in the heat, good for water rides. So I saw some online (at that AMaz...ing site...) and I asked questions. People answered in glowing terms. "Oh yes! I love them and you can DEFINITELY wear them all day walking!" You have to know, I am old. But I am the one that outwalks everyone in the family. So I got the expensive sandals. Walked from Castle Inn to Disneyland and through the parks (broke them in for a few months, by the way, and liked them). After that one day in Disneyland...I hated them. No cushioning to speak of. I had brought a backup pair of shoes that I had bought on sale at Costco. Skechers with memory foam. The sole looks just like your Theme Parkists. And I LOVED them for the parks! Those were the ones I wore all week walking, and did NOT get foot or leg tired. Very light, and they are slip-ons! The bad news: Can't find them anyplace except online for much higher price now. Yes, you MUST have comfortable, fitting shoes to walk as much as you must. I am still shopping, since we'll be there in November. But now I know what to expect and feel pretty good about it all.
Good luck in the shoe search! I hope you consider Theme Parkist, I really do feel like they've been the best pair of shoes I've had in all my Disney trips. Though I've gotta say, as long as you don't end up with blisters or shin splints, you're doing pretty well. As a side note, I do take sandals with me to wear on water rides, but I always change back as soon as I've dried off.
Not at a theme park but deiced new pair of cowboy boots on a trip to NYC was a good idea, it wasnt
