Kaeya Finally Gets Some Love [Genshin Impact Swords Only]

- Kaeya has a new skin! This is not a drill!🚨So you already know we need to complete the new event so we can get our Kaeya lookin' fancy.
Swords Only in Genshin Impact can be quite challenging at times. However, as the self-proclaimed master of "Weapon" Only challenges in this game, I am able to best any obstacle (probably).
HoYoVerse put out a tweet saying "Polearm Impact"... So I decided to take it upon myself to make a new account, but only use characters who wield a sword because absolutely nobody asked me to.

Because the domain is accessable from a random bottle found in the middle of the desert and her only explanation is like "hehe I wanted to travel" (to a desolate desert???) until she pulls out the pearl in the end. Her inclusion was all over the place. I was totally expecting her to be a fake, or that the bottle has multiple entrances from different nations because otherwise....what are you doing here???

@@csodapaci The 'traveling' bit is just a cover, in reality she's there because a lost sacred treasure of Watatsumi gathered enough power to signal its location, after a descendant of the Kitain clan went missing with it.

the fact that java didn't realize the orange things can't be exposed to light... IT WAS IN THE TUTORIAL!!! LITERALLY NOBODY ELSE MESSED THAT UP
A lot of people messed that up. I read the tutorial and i did those non-domain puzzles outside that literally require you to not let it be exposed to light yet i still struggled with that for 10 minutes
I definitely didnt restart because I thought I was soft locked... wasn't me

Well.. fun fact, you can't make it do the cryo or pyro one; i tried and then I realised it's bc they're literal water droplets

Just a little tip, Albedo's flower can pop things in the air if you aim it on top of them the same way you're using Al Haitham's skill!
I nearly cried watching Kaeya appreciation... Him at SwordsOnly with a mistsplitter with a party like one I once had... As a Kaeya main, I had my heart just bursting... Best update hoyo could ever give us, fight me
I benched Kaeya from the start and needed to cry when I had to use him, because he made the fight with the abyss herald easier. Now with this skin I’ve finally build him and he’s in my main team.
For what it's worth, Albedo alone can do basically every anemo slime or floaty bloaty trial in the game by himself, you can aim his E at them to place it on them and pop them.
He needed this glow up desperately 😭

I'm so happy he struggled at the EXACT same puzzle I struggled with... in the exact same way .
The mirror disintegrating in light is actually super annoying detail
if java ever read any instructions at all he would have known that bringing one of the colored lens into a different colored spotlight causes it to disappear and return to its starting position 💀
I hope you figure this out later in the video but I'm gonna say it anyway, you can prolly use Kuki E plus Alhaitham/Kazuha E's in replacement for archers on the weird bloon things and anemo slimes.

kinda sad that java couldn't use the music from the new area in this video, it was really magical and really brought the whole area together! hopefully the ost drops soon, i can already tell that this'll remain a classic
Getting Kaeya's skin and using him again made me realize that I actually really enjoy his kit lol. I think I just didn't know how to use him when I was still a beginner and ignored him in favor of new, shiny characters from wishing.

I have decided to build my Kaeya too, since I won the 50/50 on Eula and I finally have a decent paleflame set and he is now artifact sharing, and I use him whenever I feel like switching it up a bit, but seriously the skin is too good to just let it sit there and do nothing with it, KAEYA STANS UNITE

I was like use bow character for time trial and then it came to my mind , this is java's swords only series😅.
Props to you for always finding creative ways to complete challenges like the shooting time trial
so the reason the lamps disappeared is at the beginning, the first time they disappeared, they show dialogue, explaining that the lamps melt in the lights of the projectors, i’m so glad i didn’t miss it when i was doing the event, because i would’ve probably rage quit and not even finished it
The brilliant mirrors can't touch light of a different color because Mihoyo supports segregation. (Jk but long story short orange brilliant mirrors can only touch orange light, white mirrors can only touch white lights, and blue mirrors can only touch blue light.)

Yes! I was missing swords only, I was getting excited for you getting the Layla cons but I forgot you made c6 Layla in the pulling sessions
from a 1.2 kaeya main: i don't know which bennett constellation you're at, but if you have c5/unactivated c6 i suggest you try kaeya-self-melt team: kazuha, kaeya, bennett, layla (i use shenhe but since it's swords only i guess layla's your best choice). it's a very fun comp and can do a lot of dmg if you slap enough em on kaeya. will def be an interesting add to your challenge and a moment for kaeya to shine in your team again. i use that team for every abyss and it's the first team that prevented me from struggling there so i'm sure that contrary to the c6 benny tabu it won't damage your account, but will help it/make it more fun.
I’ve always wanted to try that but i don’t have a c6 bennett. Would Kaeya get more forward or reverse melts with that?
@@averya53 I recommend you to get bennett slowly from the shop (that's how i got c6 kaeya too). but you can also use this team with xiangling instead of bennett and see how you like the damage output :-) yes, it's exactly a reverse-melt kaeya in that case. i think it's one of the best ways to use kaeya because his damage is very consistent and better/easier than raw cryo. when i use kaeya on bennett's burst with his skill/burst while having kazuha as em booster it does a shit ton of dmg and also shreds a lot of shield types. the two of them must come in a pair in this comp, but kazuha can be replaced with c6 diona or sucrose (for em) and the last character with xiangling (to support melt) or a cryo unit like rosaria. it's a very f2p friendly team but ofc is best when kazuha and shenhe are present.

also while your layla is already c6, they'll give you 5 masterless stardust instead and you can buy a free pull (or save up for a shop 4* weapon) instead!

getting vouchers is super easy, you don't even have to get chests or anything, the ones around the map give you like 4 each, which is more than enough to get 120. I got to 120 without even collecting all of them

You can use the wind blessed harpastum on the bloaty floaties and flying slimes, but not on tbe dendro rings tho

you can target and hit the floatys with Albedo's elevator no need to plunge on top of them just use Albedo

Btw when you’re doing the little floating things (bloaty floaties) I would recommend to use keqing or alhetham (I can’t spell his name ) because their E might be able to reach it

If you have C6 Layla, you can get starglitter instead. Though idk if one extra wish is worth the time (took me about 2 hours for everything, I think)
