Silver may not be the best investment, but for all the reasons you mentioned it's a good investment. At current prices ($14), you're not going to lose money long-term.

It was doing fine but with the gas prices, and peak of the used car market surging I had to sell it. Bought a motorcycle to commute and paid off some other stuff with the money. Great trucks, may buy another down the road. Take care
