- The first video of all of the Arturia MatrixBrute Presets 1-16 recorded dry into the Apollo 8 with no compression or limiting so the dynamics are all over the place but accurate.

I was interested in hearing more lead synth sounds. The Matrixbrute has endless possibilities, I would like more musical applications. Love the Matrix, provides destinations without dealing with patch cables. There it is, ALL in front of you. It looks like a high quality instrument. I hope to hear more of it on youtube. Finding one of these synths anywhere near where I live would never happen. Thanks for Posting.

i had my first chance to check it out at guitar center yesterday. quite an interesting synth. it is a different animal. it is powerful as all get out. the distortion and brute controls make it a monstrous sound. i can see it fitting in musical situations that most synths can't travel in. while not cheap, it does provide something that is unmatched. has a fantastic range as you can begin to hear from here. it's one serious engineering endeavor. it's not a Mini Moog. But it is a synth heavyweight.
there was a promo video that was panned by many synth enthusiasts - featuring a real hard rock performance. i get now where that is coming from. Arturia should be commended for putting this out. it is a boundary stretching accomplishment. it ain't going to be for everyone. i'm predicting that it will pummel through a band mix. and stab your eyeballs out. go hear it if you can.
MrStupidHead while it can hang in moog or band territory it seems that it would be a woeful utilization of what this synth is capable of, like having a Ferrari that you only take down the block to the grocery store.
This one is an animal best unchained to run wild... I'd say it will be far more appreciated by the Arp2600 or modular synth crowd... those who want to roam the undiscovered country of soundscapes.

Ali Katircioglu yeah, the videos only include factory presets to give people what it sounds like out of the box.
I had a major studio remodel that isn't done, so I haven't finished yet.
wow. wish you could play chords with it. the pads would be amazing.
It's three note paraphonic so you can play triads on it.
As AutomaticGainsay said in his videos, it can be 3 note paraphonic, but almost polyphonic in performance - some nice secret sauce in there :-)

Ulrich Kämmerling This is NOT an EMS synthi, and this is a Multitimberal synthesizer. It is also Paraphonic.
I have yet to hear a good sound from this machine....videos like this have saved me 2G's

Honestly can't see where these sounds would be of any use in today's music.
MayDay GoingDown!! Bro these are presets, you gotta do your own thing. Make you sound from the ground up. The device is just a tool. "Today's music" is what you make it. You make "the sound" not the machine. It only provides avenues.

If you base your purchases on 'videos like these' i doubt you have much gear...Buy one, play with it, then post stupid comments if you're not capable of getting good sounds out of this instrument.
totally agree with you there mate my grandson could get a better sound out of that thing.
