Raku Firing Demonstration

Raku is a type of low glaze firing in which you heat up pots very quickly and then throw them into a reduction chamber to get wild and dramatic color changes. This video is made to explain the process and demonstrate what Raku is to teach my studets during COVID virutal learning.
Raytown High School hosts a Raku Day each semester in which students get to participate in actively firing their own pottery ( something they don't get to do with a typical electric kiln)
