Touhou Sketches - "INDY Edition"

- A few weeks ago from posting this video, I made an announcement I'd have a "surprise" awaiting everyone on the weekend. My intent was to release a four-minute episode while waiting for the VAs for "Shanghai Alice's Flying Maiden", a Touhou version of Monty Python's Flying Circus, to finish sending me their lines. However, I did not send that video that weekend because it grew from a four minute video into the 13-minute monstrosity you see before you. My original goal was to make a video more modest than "Touhou Sketches - YSE", and I missed the mark by a long shot. As I said in the post-script before: it gets addicting. Still, even though I managed to let the episode grow out of control, I'm proud of it: where YSE was mainly my love letter to the Walfas community, this is my love letter to Touhou in-general. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did making it.

Once again, everything you see was made in create.swf using my "Walfas puppetry" technique: recording everything with Camstudio while binding the number keys to mouth/eye movements. This time, I'm really pushing what is possible within create.swf, complete with danmaku dogfights, lots of dancing, and more. I also rendered the video at a much higher framerate and progressive scan to prevent blurring. Also, the render time was nowhere near as bad as YSE, so I may try these techniques more in the future.
Also once again, this video is a not-for-profit totally-made-just-for-fun video which is theoretically protected by fair use (as joked about in one of the sketches). No ill intent is wished upon anyone from this harmless video. (Even the sketch about Marisa going to court is tongue-in-cheek, and Marisa even hangs a lampshade on it.)
Her yelling "MASTER SPARK" oh my god its so cute. She sounds like she is having lots of fun like a kid :D!!!
I'm still having a hard time believing I was able to scream it like that, so thanks for putting it like that.

TBF, Comet - Blazing Star is a spellcard.
it's simple: Mima gave to Marisa only the right to use (a.k.a a license) of Stardust Reverie and Orreries Sun spellcards, and when she left the series has revoked all the licenses
if Yuuka wants, she can open a content id, since she used Master Spark/Dual Spark since LLS and Marisa only since eosd
In other words, her first two spellcards were trials but Yuuka's Master Spark is open source.
Also, Gengetsu used it in LLS... yeah Marisa is fucked

As you may remember what Patchouli said, most of her spells are carbon copies of other spell cards. Like with Stardust Reverie, and Patchouli's Non-Directional Laser. The only things that are original are technically Master Spark due to it being a everyone can learn if they wanted spell and Blazing star.

It seems the French Touhou community has found my video. Now I wish I could add French subtitles... or get native voicing for the original sketch...
Come to think of it, it seems I've also gotten a few hits from Japan, too, which must be all kinds of strange hearing Japanese characters in English. (Now I desperately want to hear the original sketch dubbed in Japanese.)

Miko and Byakuren are enemies. It also doesn't help Miko's been sealed just where the Myouren Temple happens to be, so the raves tend to get on her nerves.

Miko's simply one of my favourite characters because 1: She stands out as particularly unique, even amongst other Touhou characters and 2: Her theme Shoutoku Legend~True Administrator is my all time favourite non-remixed touhou theme.

@rizer912 There were four Prismriver sisters, but they were orphaned and went their seperate ways, so Layla summoned up three poltergiests resembling the previous three sisters (if not the actual three sisters themselves, because who knows if they died or not), and Layla died not long after. (I'm playing fast and loose with the story so the joke works, but you get the point.)
Lesson learned. The only way to solve ALL problems it to master the art of Master Spark. It solves EVERY problem we encounter in our daily lives! ZE!

The only thing that needs to be said is that Touhou is a game series based on world mythology and is played worldwide by all creeds, just as Halo, Mario, and similar games run on virtually the same elements (only the archetypes a little more abstract). That is all.
