Sharks come from Barian's Deck. The XYZ target your looking for to send to the GY with Armored Shark's eff is "Number 71: Rebarian Shark". Barian shark triggers in Gy when it is sent there and allows you to place a rank-up spell on top of your deck. Where do you go from there? You draw it. Look at the artwork of Armored Shark, he is Xyz Torpedo in disguise. Rebarian shark is rank 3. So you would SS a level 3 from Gy and then Overlay to make Torpedo and draw your Rank-Up spell card. By the artwork, that was the intent

All praise the frog. If he is banned, i don't see why other super strong generic negate are allowed. Yes Toadally is REALLY strong but, at least it require Aqua monsters for both it's materials and effect .
Why was it banned in the first place? I picked up Master Duel when it was already banned

@@Fusion_matricks Damn, i Hope in the near future they unban it, maybe limited, now that tear and Spright are kinda death. Maybe of they ban once and for all Elf.
@barb4503 we can dream. With merrli gone tear isnt a threat with it anymore but as long as elf exists no shot it comes back. That's two omni negates every turn you can make it. Would gladly trade toad for elf though

all of the cards are nice and finally sharks are a official archtype and it has somewhat a good protection against nibiru
problem is through atleast in OCG they lack a spell/trap negate so it doesn't really matter as oppenent will rageiki or lightening storm your entire board and most plays base around water locking your opponent and CNO.32 is not too bad but it can only negate monsters from field and takes up 2 already crowded Extra deck space. i think sharks have gotten good upgrade to their main deck and they need to received some more upgrade to their extra deck in order to be a strong contender.

Great vid, I can’t wait for Toad to come back! If you use levirtue sharks effect after adding the trap to hand, you can transfer material from bahamut shark to levirtue shark and then rank up levirtue into XYZ armour. You can then use the 2nd bahamut to summon toad before you and use the two bahamuts to XYZ into utopic future
I literally just made a barian shark deck in MD and holy shit I cannot wait for this new support. I’ll finally be able to play then in ranked!!!!!!!
I found that jet is basically a combination of harpooner and mirror, weaker than both but way more versatile, this does give it some small use cases in which you need to get another card on the field and it's unable to summon itself
nice for the statue comboes I discussed before but those are more so for OCG who have to rely on statue for nibiru safety
It's a good point. What made White Mirror special is that you could use it to search Remora (summoned from the deck with Buzzsaw) to add it to your hand, I suppose Jet could do the same thing if you use it to summon Big Jaws from the GY.

Seriously this new wave of support is overall amazing for the deck. It now feels like _really_ good and it's just missing that one broken aspect needed for a deck to be meta. Is it just me?
Also just wanted to mention, Seventh Tachyon can search both Kairyu-Shin and Electric Jellyfish, so between Tachyon, Ascension and also Fish Sonar, that deck got _crazy_ consistent. Updated version when?

We will be a strong rogue deck. Some people are already topping with a weaker version of the deck. We just have to see what the rest of the cards in the pack do, not revealed yet.
Doing this combo in md wont be that easy when tons of handtraps exist
The new ROTA cards make it easier to extend through handtraps compared to older Sharks.

We play 2 Bahamut targets. Either Toad+Levirtue, or 0 Levirtue and 2 Toads. I prefer Levirtue.
I like trap more cuz you could make bagooska on opponents turn

I really want a field spell searcher on the same level as Mansion of the underworld dolls!!
We need something that doesn't make us loose to droll, so something that mills and adds to hand, like Ice Barrier, something that summons from the deck, etc..

So is there any need to play Armored shark or the Armored XYZ spell the OG ONE…
The OG spell can be sided to make going second stronger. Armored Shark and Unveil Mail compete with each other, you can view the combo sheet to see how the end boards are different. We will add more Armored Shark combos soon
