Im still waiting for ash blossom to become limited or forbidden Its not even about it being too good, it's about it being too generally useful for any deck, there's no reason why you wouldn't run at least 1 in every deck you own
Sanctifire definitly would be the wrong hit. It would prevent the floodgate but the reason for gimmick puppet's and the cat's superiorty was that they were able to be sent by dusk dragon
@@TURBO1000YuGiOh Thats also part of the reason. Also probaly because branded is a Fan favourite. So there probaly multiple reasons why sanctifire was not banned
you don't play branded, true branded players know that all they needed to do is errata the card and expulsion into negating the effects of mons summoned to the opp field which should've been the effect from the start

I think at least partially why they didn't ban Sanctifire is because it's a UR.
