Had my test in Greenford today and passed. Just wanted to say, if you have your test here and you're not from the area (like me) don't worry. It isn't as bad as it seems, at least from my test experience. As long as you are confident and know what you are doing, you will be fine. Good luck!!
I passed my test by watching your videos in Greenford with the walk through videos and the hardest junctions and never did a lesson in Greenford just watching the videos so thank you 🙏🏽
Also finally now a part of the "passed but still watching" gang! Third time was the charm. To anyone who has anxiety or mental health issues, if you're feeling stressed about learning manual, switching to auto was one of the best decisions I made. My advice, don't put yourself through the stress of manual lessons unnecessarily, especially if you feel like you have to. Auto doesn't fix any issues with your driving, but clutch (especially on test) was NOT it for me. Do what's best for you and don't feel pressured by people telling you that you "HaVe To Do A pRoPeR tEsT"
Officially on the other side! Wanted to say thank you so much to you and Laura for your Mitcham videos in particular. Had my test 2 weeks ago passed first time with 3 minors ;)
The first turning you turn into is Cambridge Avenue where I lived for the age of about 2 until I was about 40 so it brings back memories seeing the old area.
It's currently Monday and my driving test is tomorrow. I'm watching all the Greenford test routes, and practising all the show me / tell me questions. I'm super nervous even though I've been having driving lessons for AGES. My palms are literally getting sweaty thinking about my test. I wonder if I'll pass... I'll update you tomorrow :D
You got this! Think about all the things they’ll get you to do on your test… junctions, roundabouts, pulling over, a manoeuvre… how many times have you already done those things! Nothing to worry about 😊 let us know how you get on!!
@@DrivingSchoolTV Read this comment in the morning and it gave me all the encouragement I needed! I passed today with 4 minors :) I was really pleased with the way I drove. You were right Francis, the nerves do vanish after 5 minutes haha! All the best.
Just googled the pass rate in Greenford is 39.5%. I see why.. My area is Letchworth and it’s about 50%- just hoping that I will be on the better half! 🙏
I failed my exam at Greenford earlier this year with 1 serious and 6 minors, found the residential roads for meeting situations there are very narrow. The width restrictors were definitely intimidating and I had to practice them numerous times before I got comfortable. Definitely a challenging at Greenford if you're in a manual car as there are a lot of hill starts with junctions. I managed to pass this week at Hendon with 1 minor and overall found the area there much easier to drive.
Hello from a once was Greenford resident who moved north. I took my driving test twice when the test centre used to be on Allenby Rd. The test then was a lot easier route than I have just watched. How long has the test centre been at Horsenden Lane? I passed on my second attempt and I had the same examiner twice! Very interesting video thank you. Really glad I don't have to take my test these days lol.
Watching this video a week before my test although I already practice these roads your commentary on how bad you found it is not helpful, makes me feel stressed about my upcoming test now 😂
I’m in America. I don’t think I could handle the narrow roads in the UK. Not gonna lie I did terrible on my driving test but still got my license. I’m really cautious when driving
Hi Francis, I wanted to talk about manual cars and how some cars use only the clutch to get to the biting point and move off but some cars use the accelerator and the clutch to move off when you get to the biting point. What is it called so I could get a car that only uses the clutch to get to the biting point and move off. I also passed recently in Uxbridge and it was my second attempt as I have stupidly touched the curb when pulling on the left to park which blew my mind anyways Yh
Hey, good question! Cars that have the torque to set off without gas have diesel engines. I explained it well in this video. Hope it helps 😊 ua-cam.com/video/2NK-yKpf_B8/v-deo.html
Hiya Francis. Love your videos mate. Use them to aid better learning & understanding with my pupils, especially around certain key topics like roundabouts & maneuvers. I'm based up in Kingsbury, so very near to Hendon & Mill Hill Test Centres. Got a question for you regarding this video. Random stuff but what Sat Nav were you using on this test route video, as you had the route programmed into the device, which is something I've tried to do with Googlemap without success ? I'm guessing TomTom as name was mentioned within the video. If so does this system allow for route programming !!?? Marky
@@marktraynor4426 hey Markey yes it’s a TomTom. The examiners use tom tom start 52s. You can get one so that your pupils are familiar with the same system. You can’t pre program routes on googlemaps etc but you can on tom tom. If you get one they’re a great teaching aid 😊

I’ve just passed my theory and booked my test for GREENFORD 😭😂 I’m familiar with the route as I’ve practiced with my dad. Do you offer lesson for this route?
Aww congrats Tia thats amazing!! Yes! Best tip for your first drive is make it a practice. If your first drive is on the way to work or to get shopping you're under time pressure and you also need to get somewhere so you'll be distracted by the destination. Make your first drive a random tour of your local area to get comfortable with the car and having no one in the passenger seat 😊
